They poured concrete and set 3" galvanized post per my engineered plans for my ground mount solar…read moreproject. I had all the holes (12) dug and all the post cut and marked. They were going to start work at 6:30am ..... one guy showed up at 7:00am (not bad) the second guy showed up at 7:45am then had to go home to get all his tools (he forgot them) not a big deal except the owner had ordered a concrete truck for 10:00am and they still had 4 hours of prep work forms etc. When the concrete truck showed up the owner showed up and nothing was ready. The owner was visibly pissed off and tried to backfill one of the holes then proceed to tell me it's my fault they have a truck waiting on them because the holes have dirt in them, so the owner just poured the concrete then jumped in his truck and took off leaving the two guys to try to install the 12 posts at the locations per the drawings... what a joke! It turned out terrible! The last few posts had to be pounded in with a sledge hammer (the more time it took the concrete was setting up) total disaster they acted like it was their first day doing concrete.

We constantly get compliments on the appearance of our home. Samantha was the landscape architect who created the design, and it was amazing to see her lay out the vision. She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. I have been very pleased with the results, which have really elevated my enjoyment of my home's outdoor areas. I would also caution anyone considering going with System Pavers to steer clear of those crooks. I wasted thousands of dollars having them do a terrible job on my pool deck, and had to have Pacific rip out their work and fix it. It was an expensive mistake that I hope to save others from repeating. If I had gone with Pacific in the first place, I would have saved lots of money and hassle. I later found out in 2023 by a City of Morro Bay Code enforcement officer that Efrain Escalante, failed to pull a city permit and did not build the stairs to code, and even placed some of it on city property. I was ordered to have the stairs tore out and hauled away, and yet Mr. Escalante is refusing to pay me back for money's lost and paid to him, even though he has now been found to be in violation of one or more Violations of the California Business and Professions Code by the California Contractors State License Board on 2/05/2024 in answer to a complaint I filed.
