My mother has used Neriman's for a few years now. I have tried a few others in towns around me with some success but I wasn't always 100% happy. Recently took my slacks in to have the waist taken in and to see if a belt loop pull out on my favorite pair of jeans could be fixed or patched. All of the items came out wonderfully! I recommended Neriman to my best friend's husband and he has used them a couple of times and been very happy. I'm about to head back with more work slacks. Don't be put off by the location of the building (it's on the back side of that long building along the railroad tracks) or the simplicity of the shop. The workmanship is top notch. read more

These were not just any pants, Julio loves this band of which he only had one pair. My boyfriend was excited to show me Neirman's Tailoring for the first time. My boyfriend raved about how good his past services with this business have been. However, we brought in a hoodie that needed to have the zippers off the hoodie. After breaking the zipper to the hoodie he wanted to charge $20 to repair and then kicked us out for lying. (He was "gone for 10minutes to get lunch) so I think he kicked us out due to wanting to eat lunch. Not a great first experience with this company. I called to get an estimate for getting the waist band of a pair of jeans taken in. The man who answered was quite curt, sounded annoyed and refused to give me an estimate. I can understand not giving out an exact price, but not even an idea? what kind of range could there be?? $5? $50? He said he had to see the jeans...they look like jeans, how much information do you need? I've used their service before and found it to be overpriced, especially for rather slow service; that's why i wanted an estimate before I decided to go there again. Today was my first time using the tailoring services here and I will definitely be back for any future tailoring needs. I brought 2 pairs of pants here today to have the hems repaired based on the referral from my family members. They are expensive pants so I was leery to bring them to just anyone. I was in and out in 5 mins with my pants repaired! AND they are perfect! I needed one leg on each pair resewn but he also reinforced the seams that had not come undone just to be safe. He charged me less than what I would have paid for one pair elsewhere. Quick, quality and inexpensive! Can't beat it! read more

I've gotten many pieces tailored here. Super affordable and the family does a great job. When I first met the little old man, he seemed very serious, but I think that is just his personality. Serious, but not rude at all (like the other yellowpages review claimed)! Awesome little business. You will not regret going here. He didn't take too long in doing the measurements, but when I tried on the finished products, they fit like a glove! He has a good eye. Support a little local business like this one. It is amazing! Very unprofessional and rude. I dropped off a bridesmaid's dress to be altered and we agreed he'd have it ready in 9 days. When I showed up to pick it up, the dress was still hanging where I'd left it-- no work had been done. When I explained that I did not appreciate having my time wasted and commented that it was unreasonable to expect me to pay full price for work that was not completed as promised, he was rude and promised me it would be ready in time for my prom, so long as I told him the date. I explained that the dress is not a prom dress and that the date of my event didn't matter-- what matters is what we agreed to. I don't appreciate being treated like a teen throwing a temper tantrum for calmly stating my dissatisfaction. When I returned to pick up the dress later that day, he remained obnoxious, pointing out to me how good the work was. I don't dispute the quality of work (though he did make the dress tighter than we agreed), but that doesn't excuse not sticking to arranged pick-up times, a concept wholly lost on him. To top it off, he only takes cash, though this information was never disclosed to me until I tried to pay. Overall, a jerk who seems to think it's okay to screw up and never even apologize. read more
