Nice small shop, not a lot of inventory but I managed to find a piece of rolling stock. Has a shelf layout on one of the walls. It was not operating but owner said I could run trains if I wanted to. My wife was waiting in the car so I kindly responded I better not start. The owner was very friendly and said they really catered to the kids. That's very comforting because I fear the hobby is dying with us old guys. I always enjoy looking at other layouts as you can get great ideas. Like I have a 9ft area the I need to look like a retaining wall, guess what, the had one, not 9ft but a long one. Best part they sold material I can use to build it. Plenty of parking and always worth a stop.

I have been going to HoH since my Grandma used to take me to their original Clearwater location on South Ft. Harrison, when I was a little kid. I miss that place so bad. It was great fun to see the owner have to use a step-stool to climb over that cluttered counter to get to his seat behind the cash register! A family business, still going strong for decades, that guy with the white crew cut is "Bob," the owner... ...and Bob has more information about ANY retro hobby than you can imagine! His selection of old and new plastic model kits is the stuff of legend. I have brought out-of-town friends here just to browse for kicks, and they always leave finding something of pure wonder! While not my passion, Bob is also the guy to go to if you are into ANY radio-controlled sort of hobbies whatsoever! Car, plane, boat, etc... He is an RC expert! HoH's inventory is vast and impressive. But if you can't find it here, just ask Bob and he will gladly order it for you! I wish more parents would encourage their kids to put down the video game controllers, and build a plastic model kit. An afternoon of glue and paint can be FAR more rewarding than just silly and hollow, temporary pixels on a screen. How much more rewarding? Actually, I now run a small side-business, making and selling my own sort of "model kit" related art objects. While he may never know his impact, Bob the owner here, is one of my main influences that introduced me to the joy of building and painting objects with my own two hands! So please give HoH a visit! In our modern "video game" era, this sort of place has become almost extinct, and that is a real shame indeed...

They never ever pick up the phone. They never reply to emails. Disgusting customer service. Beware of this company the owner is a joke and ignores your emails.

I come here when I need stuff for soaping in a quick pinch or need to repair jewelry or look for budget friendly earrings and statement pieces. I will browse Their Christmas section while there and it is always great. Overall the store is great... with that said, I can't say I enjoy the environment with their music selection, it is only tolerated. I also do not support the company owners limitations in providing all access to women's health care items potentially needed for their wellness. While not directly connected to the staff or store itself, knowing this makes me uncomfortable to support this franchise 100%. That being said I like the store for what it can offer, but if I was able to choose between a Michaels and a Hobby Lobby, I'm choosing Michaels because of the environment it holds over its female employees and those that it affects. I won't devalue the location and what it offers, its stock, or the employees that work there.
