Hadn't been to an honest to God little collectors store like this in a long time. Reminded me of my childhood growing up in the 80s--early 90s. Had a great time talking with the gentleman there who had a good knowledge of the products and particularly his passion for vintage transformers. Got several cool items at a good price.. Some I didn't even know existed. He showed me around and we talked a lot. Customers came and bought and went while I was still there. Loved the vehicle outside converted to look like transformers ambulance. Highly recommend collectors stop by.

There is also a coffee shop and some seating inside, which I did not partake in on this visit but it's a nice added touch! I also sold some books/media here and the process felt a bit unorganized, but I got a decent amount of cash for my items. Be prepared that it will take a few hours, even if you get there right at 10am, but you can leave and come back or stay and shop around. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast).
