My first visit was for a gel pedicure around lunchtime -- my first pedicure in a while, so I was a little out of practice! Ly was so kind and even reminded me I was welcome to use the massage chair. I was too shy to try it that time, but it was a nice touch that he offered. I went back today (Friday, 9:30 am) for another pedicure with Ly, and he didn't disappoint. He carefully removed my old gel and applied a fresh set, and the whole experience was attentive, efficient, and just genuinely pleasant from start to finish. If you're looking for a technician who's skilled and makes you feel taken care of, ask for Ly. I'll definitely be back!

I feel as if this nail shop is very biased towards Asian and white women when African-Americans come in, we have to wait longer and if we do need multiple things done she's only able to do one thing. This is the second year coming to this nail shop here in North Las Vegas and I really hope that Miss Tracy and her attitude towards African-Americans will change. The man that's inside of the shop is absolutely wonderful. He was fast professional, and if he was able to do eyebrows, I'm sure he was going to do them after sitting for an hour getting a full set. I was informed I had to wait another 30 minutes to get eyebrows done when there was nobody else in the shop with me and another African-American woman who's getting a pedicure. It seems that the shop will stop doing my nails to do eyebrows for an Asian lady, but when I just came to get a full set in eyebrows, I have to wait 30 extra minutes after waiting an hour. I feel as if there is no room for discrimination in North Las Vegas.

The service was not the greatest. There was no massage with the pedicure package I got even though it was listed. My friend got more pampered and she just got the basic pedicure. The nail techs really made a big deal about her wanting an extra coat to darken the garnet color as it was too light. And I mean eye rolling and groaning. I find that unprofessional. My nails I got a fill and designs wanted some bee styles to close out summer with. I wish she shortened my nails and reshaped them. But a pedicure with fill and designs &163 with a $20 tip.

The technician seemed to be in quite a rush because the salon was so busy. About two weeks after my pedicure, I noticed the polish on the outside of my big toenail starting to peel. When I looked more closely, I was shocked to see that my actual toenail was peeling and coming off with the gel polish. Shortly after, the same thing happened to my other big toenail. I can't say for certain what caused it, but I suspect the gel may not have been properly cured, which could have weakened the nail underneath. I've been getting gel manicures and pedicures for years and have never experienced anything like this before. I understand that salons can get extremely busy, but I would much rather wait a little longer and have the service done carefully than feel like it was rushed. Having my actual toenails peel away with the polish was concerning and extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would be hesitant to return.
