Second, I did not leave empty handed from my visit last week (and that's saying ALOT since I'm built like a normal human and not a supermodel, although I am on the tall side). I like to find these little shops where I can find a piece or two to mix up my wardrobe (otherwise, I look like I mass order my outfits from Gap). So, not everything in this little boutique is for everyone - I totally passed on the fur vest, skinny jeans, and lacy flouncy tunic look. But, it's nice to have these little shops in Omaha that sell fashionable items at reasonable prices (yes, they do have a sale rack). We were short on time, so will need to return to take in the full experience as there was just too many things to choose from!! The selection of holiday attire and every day attire is top tier. The employees were helpful, kind, and the owner is present and wonderful to work with also! There are items that seem to fit within the budget, and some on the higher end price wise- but the quality is great!

I do wish they had more fitting rooms. This time I came in, did a lap of the store, and gave up on getting in a fitting room without a 20 to 30 minute wait. There was also a long line at checkout. I haven't seen the checkout line before, although there is usually a fitting room line in my experience. I went in on a weekend today, so that is likely the reason for so much more traffic than usual! I would come back to the store again, but would either try to budget plenty of time, or come on a weekday when things may not be as busy.

So I was quite excited to see the Westroads Mall get a BoxLunch location. The staff here was absolutely killing it with service, even with the busy atmosphere of it being a shiny new store with all the fandoms people collect and love. Honestly it felt very much like a Hot Topic, like the signage and the layout seemed to be almost the exact same. Which makes sense as BoxLunch is a subsidiary of Hot Topic - I just thought there would be a little more of a difference. They had a significantly less "edgy" vibe compared to Hot Topics that I've visited before. Consequently, the atmosphere in this store is more relaxed and conducive to shopping. They also have their own exclusive items that aren't the same as Hot Topic (like POPs and Loungefly stuff). It seems to be slightly pricier than similar items I've seen at comparable shops that sell branded and collectible items. I'd still recommend checking out BoxLunch though, as it's cool to see items in person vs. only online. Make sure to bring your bigger pocketbook, both because they have a lot of neat stuff you'll be tempted by and because those things will not be the most inexpensive collectibles you've ever seen!

I make my way to thrift stores a number of times a year and it can become burdensome to sort through overloaded racks while also trying to avoid items with stains or holes. The Humble Lily takes higher-end items and meticulously organizes, steams and ensures they are in still great quality. What's even better is here you will find some amazing designer items - Tory Burch, Burberry, custom furs and so on. A lot of items still have tags - I've found $400 skirts knocked down to $40.
