We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rocky Creek Saddle Club. Our family has had the…read moreabsolute best experience here, and it has become such a special place for us. She has been teaching our son to ride since he was just three years old, and the confidence, skill, and love for horses he has gained is incredible. She teaches Western riding, trail riding, horsemanship, and the fundamentals of riding, including how to properly groom and prepare horses. She has also taught our other son, and both boys absolutely adore her. She is truly one of the kindest, most patient, and most genuine instructors you will ever meet. Every lesson is fun, safe, and educational, and the kids are always excited to go. The trail rides are a huge favorite and create such memorable experiences. As a family, we've also enjoyed mommy-and-me trail rides, private rides for my husband and me, and private rides for our sons. She goes above and beyond to make every ride comfortable, personalized, and enjoyable for riders of all ages and experience levels. Her horses are amazing--exceptionally well trained, well cared for, and clearly well loved. You can truly see the respect and bond she has with each horse, which makes the experience even more special. Rocky Creek Saddle Club offers more than just riding lessons--it's an environment filled with care, knowledge, and genuine passion for horses and teaching. We feel so grateful to have found her and would recommend Rocky Creek Saddle Club to anyone looking for an outstanding, family-friendly riding experience.

Pros - Nice clean barn with good-sized stalls for the horses. They offer outdoor pipe corrals that…read moreare partially covered and they have large in and outs in the barn. They have two arenas, one fenced, one not, and one round pen. They have lights in the fenced arena. They offer two types of hay, Bermuda and Alfalfa which is pretty good quality. They take good care of the property and the owners are nice. They also have big turnouts for the horses which are really well maintained and bigger than what you see at other barns in the area. The property is really beautiful too, great views and access to loads of trails at Happy Camp Park. Cons - this isn't a barn for nighttime riders as it is very, very dark. They have lights up at the main barn and one light for the parking lot, but it's pretty dark. I had a little trouble getting the groom to consistently feed my horse properly, which is one of the reasons I left. The arenas have considerable downtime when it rains too which puts a real damper on Winter training. The prices for boarding there are really high and are comparable with a show barn that offers far more amenities than VDM offers - too high for what you get in my opinion. They also have several dogs running free - which can really freak out the horses sometimes (but if your horse is used to that, it's pretty fun for the dogs). They are great if you want to ride on the trails and during the day and if you aren't a stickler about your horse being fed exactly as you ask all the time. All the boarders are nice and the property is quite beautiful...it just depends what you are looking for.

I began taking dressage lessons with Brittany several weeks ago. I've ridden my entire life, but…read morehaven't done much the last several years. Brittany's facility is quite nice, very clean and the horses are all very well cared for. These were all reasons I chose Breezy Meadows. Brittany is very kind and knowledgeable, not to mention very patient in easing an adult back into proper form. I would recommend this barn to others seeking to learn how to ride or continue to ride. Although, I only ride English, she offers other disciplines, as well.

AVOID BREEZY MEADOWS!…read more Like Jeff C. and several of the filtered reviews, I had a horrible experience with Breezy Meadows. I brought my horse over on Friday, February 2nd, 2024. I started having problems by the second day in. They barely put any shavings in the stalls... not even enough to soak up the urine or to cover the floor. They only sprinkle in a little bit of fresh shavings every 3-4 days, which is unsanitary. I spoke with Brittany Burzynski several times requesting extra shavings. I wanted thick and cushy shavings in the stall. She told me it would be an extra $80. I confirmed that I would pay this. There were still no shavings in the stall after a week and multiple conversations about this problem. My horse was standing in urine!!! So I was in a rush to find another facility for my baby. Luckily, I found an amazing barn that was able to squeeze her in in a rush, since the conditions were really bad where she was currently at. I moved her out on the 16th (Exactly 2 weeks from when she was brought to Breezy.) I gave my 30 days notice and paid the additional two weeks in March, which was required when I gave my 30 day notice, and I ate the 2 additional weeks in February. I just wanted her out of there. While moving her out, Tyler Burzynski was extremely aggressive. He handed me my contract after I told him I already have a copy. Then he started yelling at me and recording me with his phone telling me that this is his property and I need to leave. Which I was in the process of doing since I was getting in my car with all of my things before he started making a scene. I asked him why he's recording me because he's the one causing a scene in front of all of his customers, and he proceeded to yell at me. So I got my car and left. He recorded me driving down the street which is completely stupid he was the one causing a problem. Also, paid an additional $100 for Orchard hay since they only feed alfalfa. I asked for the additional hay that I paid for when I was leaving, because I paid for a month of hay, and I was only there for for two weeks. Tyler got in my face and said that I'm not getting my hay and then I need to leave his property (which they rent from the owner of the house.) This complete BS since I paid for it. Tyler took it upon himself to block the entrance to the stable with his truck and trailer, so that we had to bring my horse into the street to load her. They really do not care about the safety of the horses. On another note, Brittney Burzynski advised me for the first month at the barn to start with half training to ease my Mare in. I agreed to this. Half training is $450 for three days of training per week. Full training is $700 for five days of training per week. After I gave my notice, I was told that she LUNGED her 3 times... and since I never signed a training contract which I was never told to sign, I need to pay her for lessons at $65 an hour ($195) The ONLY reason I paid this is because I was trying to get get my horse out safely, without having any problems. Welp, that didn't happen. AVOID BREEZY MEADOWS!!! (If anyone would like to message me I will send every message between Brittney Burzynski and I, so you don't feel like I'm cropping the conversation.) *Update on Brittney's response. This is not a fake account. Marie is my middle name and A is my maiden last name. Brittney E....
