Been coming here for some years now, but today was my last time. There are only about 3 nail techs that do consistently amazing work (Tony, Nancy, and one other woman whose name I don't know), otherwise you're not guaranteed the amazing sets you see on their Instagram. Today, I came in and no one acknowledged me or asked what I wanted, but I went ahead and washed my hands and sat back down because I would've had to anyway. When I'm finally seated the woman cuts into my pinky while trying to remove the nail, deep enough that it was bleeding nonstop for 20 minutes. Now I've broken my actual nail before but this was flesh. She didn't apologize or even really acknowledge she had done anything. When I went to go rinse my finger for about five minutes, she started to wax someone's eyebrows and even came by me to wash her hands and didn't say anything. I had to tell another employee what had happened and she offered nothing more than a "Sorry" and "Come back later". Hate to lose a place that does decent sets but not worth this kind of customer service. read more

So after coming to Neon Nails for I don't know how many times I've learned quite a few things about them. 1) Get your nails done during the week while people should be at work -- however, do note not all the techs will be in to work maybe 2-3 if your lucky. 2) CALL AHEAD! I cannot stress this enough. Call in to see what the wait time is & if you can make an appointment. To be honest, I don't think they really keep up with appointments (definitely don't write them down) because too many times have I seen people come in for an appt. and their tech is not there or busy & that person has to wait forever & a day. Any time I made an appt. it would be for the next hour or so not days or weeks out so I never had an issue. 3) Get your nails done by NANCY or HANNA (designs mainly)! They are always booked but if you want your nails done right then be patient. They have other techs but listen your treading water giving them a chance. If your not picky about shape, smoothness & designs then go to whoever. There is a woman by the desk who is also good but I have only had her once & don't remember her name. They have a guy - NO ! I'm not sure if they still let him do work but the 1 time I let him, Hanna & Nancy had to come behind him & fix my nails it was a mess. 4) If you have to wait for the weekend come as soon as they open, I've said it before & I'm saying it again. If you really know nails then you should know they don't really use Nexgen powder for dip nails. The whole term "dip" refers to the tech having to dip your nails in the color powder with multiple layers to create the right amount of thickness. If they are using powder & liquid just like acrylic then its not Nexgen. Also the smell shouldn't be strong or any smell period, that is how real Nexgen nails are done. So pick your poison wisely -- you don't want your white nails changing colors later (dip powders are sealed therefore the color won't smudge). Overall, if I want some cheap, quick, perfectly shaped nails then this is my spot. The quality is good compared to other places that charge an arm & a leg so I give them that just wish their scheduling was better & all their techs had the same skill levels. read more

I usually go to Nancy, Tony , or the lady in the corner( I forgot her name) but they are literally one of the best salons in Dallas! Booked from 9am-closed. They always get my shape together and have my nails RIGHT every time. The only downfall would be the place could be a bit bigger but they seem extremely family oriented and very welcoming. I've been coming here for 6 years and that won't stop as long as my techs are there honey read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a nail shop. He asked me what I wanted and I told him, then he chuckled... What's funny?! Then when after he got to the 3rd finger he lifted it to show one of his coworkers, spoke his language and laughed... then I'm guessing he made another joke in his language and the WHOLE staff busted out laughing. I sat quiet til the end but I was heated inside. He made me feel so uncomfortable and stupid. Very unprofessional. Also my nails are uneven, weren't even done correctly. It was rushed. I'm not coming back. read more

This was the worst nail experience I've ever had. The picture that I wanted is posted last, he seemed like he's never done a French tip before cause he had to restart on them a couple of times. I'm never one to not pay for a service so I paid regardless, but I will definitely not be coming back. I am so so disappointed, and now getting them redone this weekend at my usual shop. The French tips are all uneven. These are so bad. read more

I am never coming back to this place!! I asked for a mani & pedi. I did not get a massage or cuticle removal with my pedicure. Then at checkout they tried charging me $30 for the pedicure. And when I tried explaining to them that I didn't receive the correct pedicure, they demanded to check the cameras. After proving them right about not getting a massage or cuticle removal, they still charged me the full price!! (I also left with multiple cuts on my nails and toes) I will NOT be returning!! And if I was anyone else, I wouldn't get your toes done here!! read more

Worst nail salon. Started off with Tran Very ruff filling down my nails. She was too busy having a conversation with a friend. When I told her my nail hurt she said where and filled it down even more. After I told her I didn't like the streaks on the nails I would like them removed she grasped the nail clipper angrily and one nail she cut through my skin. Then she said move over someone else will take them off I have to take my next client. She then proceeds to come argue with me and says but there's no blood so it will be 30 dollars OK. Worst experience. Handled very poorly. read more

Came here for the first time today after a friend recommended it! I walked in, no appointment. I brought a reference picture of what I wanted (a picture I found on Pinterest). I'm so in love with the final product! The man who did them (didn't catch his name) knew what he was doing and did such a fantastic job. They did take a while but that's because each color had to be painted on with gel polish and cured. The salon itself was nice and clean. Overall i had a great experience here and would definitely recommend them to a friend. I honestly think this is the best my nails have ever looked, I've received so many compliments!! read more

I just moved to Dallas from Miami and this place is probably the closet you'll get to a 5 star nail salon as far as designs and creativity. I didn't catch my Techs name because it slipped my mind but she was amazing. She suggested all of these cute designs. My total was $57 for an ombré full set and eyebrow wax.. CHEAP AF. The place isn't that nice aesthetically but I'd sit at a hole in the wall (it's not one) for this quality, just saying because we've all been to the castle this and royal that but they can't do a full set and shape properly to save their lives. read more

Worst service. All my toes were crooked had to keep asking them to correct them. When I sat down I told him I had one acrylic toe and I needed two to match he said $5 but when I got ready to pay he claimed he said $8. When I asked plain as day how much for 2 tips. Basically called me a liar . Will never return read more

I called ahead to make sure they offered dip because I just moved here. They assured me they do. I see the product and they try to convince me they are using dip. Im licensed so I know better. They don't have dip. I settled for an acrylic set, a mediocre job, and high prices. In California I paid $35 for Dip. They charged me $38. Later I see menu and Dip isn't even on the menu. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place, I called to make a appointment and they told me that they didn't do appointments and to come in after 10 am. I got there the person I wanted wasn't there And there was a wait time of a hour. I don't think it was professional and it was very dirty. read more
