This place is awesome. The crowd tends to be 20's and 30's but after a Billy Bob's concert it's the place to be. The line moved fast. The service is fabulous. I met the owner and he really want every customer to have a great experience. Prices are super fair, drinks strong and music is loud. This is, without doubt, one of the most dangerous places you could send your underage child to or choose to go yourself. I have watched, several times, the bouncers totally lose their shit on people. I watched them throw a kid into the parking lot in front of the entrance face up, choking on his own blood. I got past his friends surrounding him, flipped him on his side so he could breath and told them to call an ambulance. The staffs response was "he is not on our property now, it is not our problem." To which I replied, "than you just told me you have no authority here, fuck off then, I will deal with it." Very shortly after that as I was getting a phone out one of the other bouncers blind side tackled me, RIGHT after admitting this was not their property, which makes that unarguable assault. He got on my in full mount, at which point I reminded him you just told me this is not your property, I didn't touch you, this is assault, in 3 seconds I start using training to defend myself, *get off me*. Plus a little sample of the beginning of wrist pressure and what it will do to his hands if I finish it. Fortunately, for the bouncers safety and your companies liability, he made the right choice and got off. I also have seen, your staff buying alcohol for underage women, specifically women. Your bouncers picking fights with customers. Your bouncers assaulting people. Your bouncers watching other people fight for entertainment. Your bouncers ignoring a guy who knocked out a women and just walked away. Do. Not. Go. To. This. Place. You have so many other options. Don't believe me? I got my REAL ID taken from the bouncer at this place. She refused to scan it or give it back to me because she was convinced it was fake. After asking for a manager, she ignored me and kept shaking her head. I am still waiting on a new ID from the DMV and it's been three weeks. This place is horrible and she had no mercy. The least she could've done is let me in underage & give me back my ID that she had no right to question or keep. I'm so angry and will never be going back to this place. If I could give 0 stars I would Fire code surely was not in compliance Due to so many people in the building it was hard not to bump into anyone. My son in law accidentally bumped into a girl that later we found out was a staff members girlfriend. She went off on him like he did it on purpose. As soon as that happened the staff member grabbed my son in law by the collar and was being belligerent and would not listen to my daughter trying to tell him to stop because they didn't do anything. The staff member swung at my son in law but ended up hitting my daughter. That started a mess! The staff was instigating instead of de-escalating the "fight". We tried to leave but they kept following us down the street. I was shoved against the wall outside and my daughter and her mother in law (60 years old) were thrown on the ground. After we finally got away we noticed that my daughters phone was missing. I went back to the bar to get it and I was told I could not have it. Legally it is my phone because I pay for it. I said I would get the cops involved and I was finally given the phone. This was our first and last time we will be going to this bar. We should have looked at the reviews before we went and we would have known they have sketchy and totally biased staff members (there were a few that were helpful but just a few). read more

In my 31 years I've never seen an employee as disgusting and disrespectful to women as the guy in the pic I posted, walking by nonchalantly touching girls butts in passing and walking up behind random girls grabbing them by the waist and putting his body up against theirs from behind to talk to them (about some made up security concern probably). And no, it wasn't patrons he knew because we sat and watched them push him away with a look of disgust and complete shock and ask what the hell he was doing rubbing up against them and touching them...then continue to push his arm and hands off their shoulders and away from them as he continued his sexual harassment. Ok I am giving them 2 stars ONLY because I USED to like the place alot! but after this past weekend I will no longer go there!!! I got married on Saturday and we went to billy bobs and here cuz I wanted to sing karaoke! It was my day so I do what I want!!! The middle of my song someone interrupted me while singing ripping the mic from my hands injuring me. The bar did NOTHING about it and kicked US out for "threatening" the guy who did that! All they did was bring the guy to us to apologize but he was too drunk to even know what he did! He should've been the one kicked out!! We demanded our money back but they would not! They were rude about the situation and we believe it should've been handled differently! The first second walking into this place struck me as grimey, there was a big pile of throwup not 20 feet from the door and no one was cleaning it, just letting everyone walk through it, after walking further in, the floor was covered in broken glass from people dropping beers.......which ALSO we're not cleaned up, it's damn near impossible to dance because everyone just stands around on the dancefloor, and the bouncers don't do they're jobs, they stood near the door all night, I came with a group who were not from America and wanted to show them Texas nightlife, and one of them got beer thrown on him and then shoved, then the bouncer finally came over and said," get you're brown ass out of here" but let the punk kid who had X's on his hands but somehow still had a beer in his hands stay. Steer clear , save your money and sanity, there are much MUCH better places in the stockyards then this disgusting bar. Great place to people watch and join in the inevitable line dance to V.I.C.'s "Wobble" (2008). Get your two-step ready. Music was a good mix between country (for the two-steppers) and recent hiphop. Younger crowd (20s). $6.50 for a shot of Patron, they'll even throw in a glass of Sprite. But don't order from the girl bartender, she charged $1 more than the dudes. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I got jumped in the bathroom alone by 6 women and I was thrown out of the bar with a swollen eye and bruises on my face. The women who attacked me were never address and I was asked to leave after just trying to use the restrooms a public facility and was attacked. Absolute worst experience of my life. Went to neon moon a lot when I turned 18! Good atmosphere, crowded club, and drinks are made good! Younger crowd however and bar fights.

I must admit- one of my favorite places in the stockyard to grab a drink and two-step. they place is pretty clean compared to other bars in the area- and they have a Kareoke side incase you wanna laugh at some drunks trying to sing and dance in unison. They play a mix of hip-hop and country so if your not into variety its not your place. read more

This time I met some cool girls at Rockin the River and they suggested coming here. $5 admission cash only. Well worth it b/c I had the time of my life! Best country songs mixed in with some top 40 pop stuff and there's even a Latin room (what? despacito on repeat). The place was packed wall to wall which is good for people watching and finding people to dance with but not good for actually dancing as you can barely move let alone get twirled around. But, am not going to complain because it's tragically not easy finding a guy who can two-step for some reason. Even at Billy Bob's! This place is a hit or miss. Mostly misses tho lol The front lady who takes your money and looks at your ID is a usually a bitch for no reason. I've been here several times and this time she took my ID and was convinced that i was using a fake. She wouldn't even let me in as a minor or give me back my ID. I told her i was gonna call the police and she said go head and then told me i needed to get out of her bar. I called the non emergency number and the cops showed up and had my ID back to be within 10 min. The police proceeded to yell at the managers because it was the third time they had been called for their bar taking real ID's. I understand they trying to save their ass's but the front desk asshole scanned my ID and it passed. They even did the light test and it passed as well. She must have just been on her period that day! If you ever go here and get your real ID taken please call the non emergency number! Hello I used to be an employee of neon moon and I would like to announce to the public that they do absurd things to customers and there drinks I have recently quit there because of how much fighting goes on that is totally uncalled for from the bouncers and for customers that the employee don't like I have seen them spit in people drinks and have even seen the manager piss in a customers beer that he really was not a fan of I will never go to this bar it is honestly one of the worst bars in the Fort Worth area please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS BAR!!!! This happened quite some time ago, but from reading the other reviews it still sounds like the same management owns the bar. So this is a warning to other women about this place! I was with a gf one night at a bar in downtown Fort Worth. It was a country bar called Neon Moon. I do not personally care for them (country bars) because the testosterone levels seem much higher and from working in MANY bars they seem to have some of the most stupid bar fights I have ever seen. Sadly, one broke out the night we were there. I had NO idea it was happening we were sitting at the bar minding our own business. Apparently security would let ppl "fight it out" until it got out of control??? So when the fight started nearing us we had NO clue. That's when everything was like slow motion. I heard my friend scream SAM! LOOK OUT! I didn't have time to turn my head or duck, the one guy who was currently swinging at the other missed and punched me square in my back. Full force and this guy wasn't a small man either. It knocked me out of my seat and I fell on the floor not able to breath. That is the only reason why security stepped in. When I was able to get my breath back and my head to stop spinning, I asked where those aholes were. Because you would think they would have stopped from practically knocking out a woman. At the very least would have checked on me. They were outside, I told the owner/mngmt they better call the cops. Instead I was told boys will be boys and there was no need to do anything like that. I said security better f-ing hold them because I was going to call the cops and file assault charges, which was MY choice since I was punched. They are not animals and there was no need to behave like ones in any environment. I went outside and demanded security hold them while I made the call. Instead they got them taxis and refused to give me their names. Hell, the manager didn't even offer to pay our bar tab. I was treated like, oh well you got in the way??? Like it had been MY fault in the first place??? I could not believe they allowed this behavior and when it escalated to one of them knocking out a woman? The fact that they didn't allow ME to decide if I wanted to call the cops or not was disgusting. I had a bruise of his fist print square in the middle of my back for a LONG time. If I had not been such a tall and larger woman, meaning structurally (I am 6 ft) he would have probably broke something. Security at the time carried tasers on them so I know this was a regular occurrence. From reading recent reviews it seems like nothing has changed. Ladies, I would stay away if I were you! read more

I like this place A LOT! They generally play country music. They have another room connected onto the club where they usually have a live band/performer, they have another bar area and they also have two pool tables. On Saturday nights they're open until 4, and from 2-4 they play dance music, hip hop, alternative, and just a little bit of country. This place is sometimes fun. Male bartender in the silverado room is very good. The rest are great at poping caps off beers mixed drinks are aweful, shots ok. It would be a great asset to the bar to use social media to help promote DJ's, Drink specials. They havent touched their fb page since Nov of 2013. Have a college night, Don't charge adults that are buying drinks a cover charge. I didn't even bother walking in last night because of that. Otherwise I would've come in for a few drinks. DJs are hit or miss. Overall it can be fun. But stay away from mixed drinks. This place doesent even have limes most of the time. read more

Cute place we walked into by accident. Everyone had a cowboy hat on (yay!) but everyone was also about 16 years old. A very young crowd but unlike in NY, a young crowd here wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Everyone was doing their own thing. It was so much fun for me to see EVERYONE actually dancing on the dance floor. I mean they really took the group participation songs that most people here on the east coast do only at weddings, to heart! they were really going into it! I used to be a fan but last night I went with a group including my cousin and her husband visiting from California. We were about to walk in when a staff member told my cousins husband he was not allowed in because he was a sleeveless top. According to their rules it's not allowed. This wouldn't have been a problem and I would respect the rules however, the board does not specify a gender and my cousin plus many other girls right behind us walked right in wearing spaghetti strap tank tops. So please, if you're going to train your staff properly then be sure to teach them NOT to discriminate!!! read more
