If you are taking walk-ins ahead of appointments then the appointments need to be notified as a common courtesy.Also if you are doing walk ins during normal business hours the folks that have appointments need to be taken care of in a TIMELY fashion

He was never a headache, or rude, and it was very funny when my son went in for two flu shots, (which he did NOT get), hitting each of his arms, saying "Doctor I want one in each arm so I dont get sick!" which he was totally serious about getting! we went with Dr Serkes when my daughter had terrible cough. we suspected it was bronchitis. we told…read morehim it could be bronchitis and to start on antibiotics. he only gave an inhaler. the cough didn't stop a week later so we went exactly a week later. then he asks what we are there for? surprising to me because every doctor read notes prior to seeing their patients. especially being the same doctor who saw her and took notes in his computer asking that question was weird. this time he said he will prescribe both steroids and antibiotics. I was blown away. we asked for a school note and in there he ticked that my child who's a teen can't use the inhaler or carry one to school. Now schools started and she had to use it to control the cough but the school nurse resisted (understandbly) because the same doctor mistakenly checked child shouldn't self carry or self admininter - we had to get the note corrected and resent to the school nurse so that my child who knows how to use it can use it. before that he told her to check YouTube on instructions on how to use the inhaler. The antibiotics should have been the first thing he should have prescribed on noticing that she had a wheezing sound. I am concerned and do not want mistakes. I have an appointment today but this time I am going with Dr Meyers. I agree that he's child- friendly.

She is very down to earth, easy to talk to, and offers great medical advice. She has children of her own so she can really sympathize with any medical issues your child is going through. We've been coming to this practice since our daughter was born in 2015. It's obvious they care…read moreabout the children they see. Making appointments is easy, whether routine or sick visits. The nursing staff is extremely warm and welcoming when we come in and is happy to give advice over the phone. We've even found ourselves needing after hours assistance a few times and their nursing staff who monitors the phone has always gone above and beyond to make sure my child is healthy and safe; not to mention very reassuring to stressed parents in stressful situations at all hours of the night. It never feels like an inconvenience when we call. The doctors on staff are equally well trained and knowledgeable. When going through our visits they make a point to speak to my child and get her input directly in how she is feeling and make sure to never push her if she is feeling anxious about certain parts of the visit (I.e. checking ears if not truly necessary). They also keep the parents in mind, making sure we understand the full scope of whatever we're dealing with and preparing us with all the necessary resources to give our child adequate care. I really cannot recommend this practice enough. From primary care to sick visits, we've never had a bad experience.

The other pediatricians I met were nice and seemed like good doctors, but Dr. Ulmer is special. Her warm and friendly personality is clear from the moment she steps into a room. Her knowledge of pediatrics is very impressive. Whenever I have a question she always knows the answer and gives me current medical articles so I can learn more. She has been the pediatrician for my daughters from newborn to teenager. She is just wonderful with them and I couldn't be happier with the care they have received. Dr. Smith is also very kind and caring and good at making my little one feel safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, he is a little too much of a growth chart stickler and made me panic unnecessarily. He also misdiagnosed a common condition which didn't respond to the treatment recommended. Dr. A is my daughter's regular doctor and she has been much much more conservative with the growth charts, balances seeing the child as a person more than a data point, and also correctly diagnosed her issue. So while both doctors are good, I like Dr. A better so far, and Dr. Smith I'm not so sure yet. Maybe he was just having an off day. Overall this is a great practice.

We have visited all of the Dr.s at the practice several times over the years, and while they are all great, we love Dr. McWilliams. Getting an appointment is easy and we never have to wait long once there for our scheduled appointment. They have always been prompt about returning calls during on and off hours. Appointments never feel rushed and they always take the time to answer all of our questions. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

My kids pediatrician, who will remain unnamed, recently sold his practice to Neumors. As for now, I have not noticed much in the way of change but considering that this involves care for my children you can bet I'm playing close attention. He has been the pediatrician to all three of my children from birth so that alone helps me lean towards staying with this practice. But I am also an older, wiser man and have seen things like this "go south" real quick in the past. I, however, do not wear blinders.
