First of all, I love the exterior of this bar with the green and white! Nate and I stopped in for a drink while staying at the Godfrey across the street. This bar is homey and cozy, with a "Cheers" feel where everyone is welcomed in, from out of towners to regulars. We grabbed a table on the bar side and browsed the menu. We were heading to dinner shortly after, so we didn't order any food, but the prices were cheap and I'd go back for a good bar grub meal. I got an Irish coffee (fitting for this Irish bar) and Nate got a beer - they were quick to come out and my drink was strong. It took a few tries to flag someone down to grab our tab, but they were hustling as the whole bar side was full. Overall, Nemo's is a good dive bar with a decent menu and cheap drinks. I'll be back.

Talk about a FRESH cheeseburger! It was absolutely delicious. Made to order and our waitress was so kind and gave us history of the establishment, where beef is sourced and that its ground DAILY. You can tell! She also recommended beverages and the different types of vodka. Prices are VERY reasonable. The ambiance was nice. It was Red Wings game night so super busy. Restaurant and restrooms are very clean. I enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia covering the walls!

Great place to meet up and grab a beer and a burger before sporting events. The have a super convenient shuttle to that drops you off and picks you near the stadium/arena

It was one of the best Burgers I have had the pleasure of enjoying in Detroit! I'll make this review simple and to the point (like Nemo's bar). I asked for a Cheeseburger; they asked how I wanted it cooked; it came out cooked to perfection. I ordered a second one because they were so darn delicious. It looks like a fun place to watch a game and pal around. Staff was friendly and attentive. No doubt, I'll be back.

Food and beer were great! Service was fast even though there were only 2 servers in the whole place today. The shuttle to Comerica park is incredibly convenient, $5 per person.

Ask the Community - Nemo's Bar

What is the price for the shuttle to Little Caesars Arena? After the game, does the shuttle pick you up at Little Caesars Arena or is it someplace nearby? Is there only one pick up after the game, so if you miss it, you're walking back to Nemo's?

The price has been 3 dollars for the shuttle round trip in the past. I'm not sure if that has changed for 2018. The shuttle picks you up in the bumpout near the arena. The shuttles run after the game continuously until 1/2 hour after the game ends… Read more

Fair to say the Asian Chicken Salad is good, but not great. It's a massive portion with plenty of Napa cabbage and spinach, providing that much-needed crunch. However, the grilled chicken was a bit of a letdown--it really needed more flavor and seasoning to hold its own. The saving grace and clear highlight were the spiced cashews. They actually had some personality and stood out as the best part of the dish. It's a solid enough choice if you're looking to stay on the healthy side while hanging out in a sports bar, but it's not a "must-order. Plenty of screens for sports viewing, and lots of beers on tap (obviously), staff service was good.

She's in poor health, and in the chaos of leaving home I forgot to bring something to wrap her nighttime medication in. Since TAP has turkey sandwiches on their menu, I explained that I was a hotel guest and asked if they could spare a small piece of turkey - just enough to wrap a pill in for an elderly dog upstairs. A kitchen worker (who was very nice, by the way) offered to check, but the chef refused outright. Not "this is against XYZ policy," not "we're too busy," just a flat no. I was standing right there for the entire exchange. Anyone genuinely suited to a hospitality role would have recognized this as an easy moment to generate some goodwill, but instead, the chef shut it down without a second thought. I spent a lot to stay at the MGM Grand Detroit Hotel, and this interaction left a genuinely negative impression of MGM overall. It made an already difficult day worse. I truly hope the individual who refused this request can one day recognize that hospitality is built on moments exactly like this.

We also tried the fried chicken muffaletta sandwich and burger with tots and crinkle fries. The chicken sandwich is really tasty if you like olives, which I do. It came out on a nice seeded bun freshly fried and hot. Yum. Hubby enjoyed the burger and added bacon - they have really nice thick sliced bacon. It was cooked perfectly with a nice soft bun. I'm pretty sure the fries and tots are just frozen and presented well - at $11 and $12 for those, you might just skip those and get the meatball parm sliders because they're seriously delicious. I plan to return just for those - they're the best thing on the menu. Homemade patties and sauce; top notch. But, the crinkle fries do come with this yummy homemade malted mayo as well as ketchup, and I really enjoyed that. The tots are dusted with a spicy salty seasoning which made them maybe a touch too salty. Both of those came out super hot and crispy though, which I definitely appreciate. Overall, a very tasty meal that had care put into it. The host and server were both very friendly and our service was perfect. It's a little pricey for bar food, but at least it's good bar food, and you can't beat the ambiance for sports. Solid.

From the second you walk in, it's obvious this place isn't just another bar -- it's a neighborhood hangout with serious personality. The rustic-brick interior and laid-back energy set the tone perfectly for a night out with friends or a chill stop before hitting other downtown spots. The menu is packed with attention-grabbing comfort bar food that goes way beyond typical pub grub -- think flavorful sandwiches, crispy fries, and dishes that pair insanely well with a cold drink. One of the best parts? Wednesday night trivia. It's the kind of event that turns a midweek night into a destination night. Trivia kicks off in the evening and runs until the fun's done, complete with drink specials (like discounted pitchers and fun cocktails) and a crowd that's all about playing hard and laughing harder. Whether you're a regular trivia team or just looking to make new friends, it's a blast and a perfect reason to mark your calendar every week. The drinks lineup here is solid too -- from craft beers on tap to creative cocktails -- and the bartenders know what they're doing whether you're asking for something classic or bold.
