I recently ran out of a necessary medication before my next scheduled appointment and contacted the office to request a short prescription to bridge the gap until my upcoming visit. I was told that Dr. Motazedi would not provide a prescription to cover even a few days. The idea of going three weeks without medication was very concerning and could potentially negatively impact my health. I found the lack of concern for continuity of care troubling, particularly after being a patient of the practice for more than two decades. Unfortunately, this experience was not the only factor in my decision to leave. Over the years, I have experienced multiple issues with the administrative side of the practice. There have been appointments where I waited more than an hour to be seen. On another occasion, I was scheduled for an appointment on a day when the office was closed. I have also received a same day call asking me to come in several hours earlier than my scheduled appointment because the afternoon schedule was light. Experiences like these left me feeling that my time and convenience were not always given the same consideration that was expected of me as a patient. When I ultimately decided to cancel my upcoming appointment and requested my medical records so I could transition to another practice, I explained that I wanted to share feedback about why I was leaving. Unfortunately, the response and tone I received left me with the distinct impression that my concerns and my decision to leave simply did not matter. After more than 20 years as a patient, that interaction felt dismissive, which was disappointing. I understand that medical practices have policies regarding prescriptions, scheduling, and medication management. I also understand that unexpected circumstances arise. However, professionalism, communication, compassion, and respect for a patient's time still matter. After more than two decades with this practice, I did not make the decision to leave lightly. My recent experience, combined with the administrative issues I have encountered over the years and the way my concerns were handled when I decided to leave, ultimately confirmed that it was time for me to find another provider.

I bought a sclerotherapy deal through Living Social after I had already tried laser vein removal…read moretwice with no results (it actually made my two tiny spider veins worse and more noticeable). I was comforted knowing this facility actually has real doctors (Dr. Antani) and registered nurses as opposed to the previous laser center I tried. The doctor spoke frankly about the prognosis and risks of sclerotherapy, and the procedure was performed by a nurse (Kim) who was very friendly, helpful and thorough. Pain wise, I would say it is comparable to laser vein removal since you are injected in the spider veins multiple times with a very small needle - just felt like quick little pricks or being snapped with a rubber band, but very tolerable in my opinion. The office was clean and all of the staff I encountered (front desk, nurse, medical doctor) were friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed and was very comfortable throughout my time there (about 45 min total). I only had my procedure two days ago and results can take about a month, but based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend the Center for Interventional Medicine. My one tip is to buy your thigh high compression stockings elsewhere prior to the appointment, otherwise you have to buy some pricey ones at the office. I got mine on Amazon for less than $30.

He has seen me over the past 10 years and has been with me through some pretty scary times during digestive health failures. He is almost always on time, his staff, whether at the front desk or prepping in the patient room are almost as amazing as he is. His bedside manner is amazing; he is never condescending and is just a very normal person. He's very smart, but instead of preaching to you about your health, he works with you to understand your point of view (in my case I am a zero medication person) and helps with alternative treatments that have resulted in awesome care. This is a doctor you want on your side, whether it's for a routine situation or a problem that can't be figured out. Dr. Marathe is my gastroenterologist for as long as I'm able to get to him.

It was awful... the brows about scared me.. thick & high up!! Bless her. She was new and learning so I was patient. I did noticed that the clinic needs to be organized, decluttered, and a thorough clean. A little updating would not hurt either. After being taken back the medical assistant draws my blood and I don't see her again.. the poor NP student was the one that had to enter all of my history & medication into the EMR system. I felt so bad for her. They know that the medical assistant should have had that taken care of before the NP student came to see me. I felt they were taking advantage of her like many employers do to students on internships. The NP student was very kind. She was very knowledgeable. She's the first to ever mention an issue that has been looked over by physicians for years. She was great. Dr. Stoll walks in after my time with the NP with samples of new medication to give me. I kindly declined them... no thanks to new medication I didn't ask for nor needed to change. She seemed as if she trusted the NP (which I did too) and so there wasn't much to the visit with Dr. Stoll. Unfortunately, I won't be back. I do not want to seek care there again... I want to establish care at a more organized and clean clinic. A little more professional too.

Dr. Brian Carty staff was supposed to send me link to accessible telemedicine conference. Time of appointment came and went - and no link. I later discovered that Dr. Brian Carty CALLED me on my cell phone and left multiple voicemails. If I could communicate via telephone, I would not be requesting alternative communication, would I?
