But, I have to tell of my latest experience from September 2022, which left me very unhappy and unsatisfied. I made a reservation for a week in mid September, and due to circumstances affiliated with COVID, we needed to cancel. I called and cancelled more than 2 months before our reservation date, and was told I would be issued a refund, but that Dick(the owner) handled all refunds, and would send it to me. I waited more than 6 weeks with no refund or communication from anyone at the resort. I called again and was told the same thing, that my refund would be issued. Another 2 weeks an still nothing, so I called a 3rd time, and spoke to Dick, who told me that my deposit would not be refunded because they were unable to rent the cabin. I was confused because I had been told something completely different on 2 previous occasions, and there is no refund policy at all on the website. So despit many great previous trips here, this incident has left a bad taste for this establishment.
