Sam's team remodeled my powder bath, and it came out even better than I imagined. Antonio did the work and he kept checking in with me to make sure everything was where I wanted it. Great attention to detail, and he even put my shelves back. The project took a few days and every night he cleaned up so there was nothing for my kids to get into which I really appreciated. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

First time using this company. Phone calls were returned very promptly. Working with Robert was…read morepleasant; he explained the process in depth and was able to show me multiple photos of projects he completed in the past. Our biggest obstacle was the weather. It was difficult for him to find enough dry days in a row to complete the staining of our deck. His crew arrived on time and were very polite and pleasant. Two workers arrived at 1:30 pm and began prepping the deck (it had been pressure washed a couple weeks prior); more workers (2 or 3) arrived about 45 minutes later. By 4:30 pm they were done...which is where my concern came in. We have a pretty big deck, with a lattice covered arbor, and I am not convinced they applied two coats (as promised) in such a short time. When they arrived, I questioned the information Robert had given me saying that both coats would be applied in the same day, with minimal drying time in between coats. The worker confirmed this, saying the product was a "wet coat" product. When I checked the information on the back of the can they left for touch ups, the directions indicated you could re-coat in two hours. The size of our deck, combined with the minimal amount of time the workers were on site, makes me doubt that the entire deck received two coats, as contracted. I did contact them to discuss and was told that yes, they did do two coats on the whole deck. I was told that their experience allows them to complete a project of this size in such a limited amount of time. The finished product looks good, however there are some areas that are shinier than others. Also, the deck overall has a sticky feel when you walk on it. I was told this should go away in a few weeks to months, but to contact them for resolution if it does not. My overall experience allows me to recommend this company. I would, however, watch the workers carefully to make sure the project is completed as contracted.

We ordered their straight "Summit" staircase. This is supposedly a pre-engineered, worked-out…read moredesign. In other words, it is not a one-off design on our behalf. Like so many others, we have dealt with numerous fabrication and field assembly problems. Most notably railing posts in no way comply with building code requirements. Instead of providing hardware that securely attaches the posts to the stringers, Paragon /Salter provided threaded inserts that are not welded to the posts. They simply plug in to a hole in the post & rely on friction. Moderate pressure on the top of the post easily pops the post & railing off the stair stringer. This negligence alone is reason to steer clear of this company! Additionally, the stringers were bowed in the long direction & not straight in the up & down direction along their length. Therefore, once the posts were attached to the stringers, they were not vertical. The wood cap rail might've brought these angled posts into alignment had the attachment detail at the top been sufficiently strong. Unfortunately, the cap rails attach to short metal plates welded to either side of each post. This assembly is not sufficient to pull these misaligned posts into a straight alignment. We have had to make several field modifications to assemble & bring the stairs to code. It has costed us in time, change orders, & a lot of frustration and disappointment.
