I placed a quote request online and received it via email within a few hours. I called to verify the process since I would be coming from Kingman, AZ and the gentleman I spoke with was very helpful. I paid for the order online and went to pick it up a few days later. One of the office personal somehow knew who I was, gave me a big smile and shook my hand. Everyone I spoke with from beginning to end seemed super excited to help me and made me feel like they wanted my business. This Jeep Chick will definitely be using Desert Lumber for any future building materials I need.

My daughter went to purchase lumber from there yard yesterday on 5-7-2026 around 2pm. There was a large, portly older man in his 60's with short white hair in the office. My neighbor who is 82 years old gave him a cut list and my daughter paid immediately. He told us to wait across the way in the yarded fence and there fork lift operator will bring it out. We gave the list to the forklift operator who looked tall, slim and in his 20's wearing a hat and bandana around his face. He went to get the inventory we purchased as we waited in the truck for his return. When the operator returned he abruptly began dumping the load in the bed of the truck without us doing an inventory of the items. We were happy to have him load it seeing we ourselves just had to load a purchase from Peterman's lumber across from them in the heat of the day. When we got home and unloaded the truck we were highly disappointed to find the wood was dirty, splintered, cracked with nail holes and some still had nails in them like they got it from a tear down or remodel. We will be returning back today to demand good lumber for our project or a full refund. When I posted a comment I found several post with the same complaint. Don't let these people get away with this side hustle there pulling on DIY customers and on there employer DESERT LUMBER.

Unprofessional, Discriminatory, and Dishonest - Avoid Sun City Stucco…read more I strongly advise any homeowner--especially seniors--to avoid Sun City Stucco. My wife (who is retired) and I are both in our 60s. After Alex told us he "only does stucco" and refuses to do demo or construction, we spent three weeks of grueling physical labor shimming studs and prepping the area ourselves just to meet his requirements. We were dealing with a broken AC and a failed washing machine at the time, and my wife was incredibly excited to finally see this wall completed. Instead of professional service, she was met with a "patcher" who was unfriendly and cold. When she asked a simple question about using a bonding agent to prevent cracking, Alex (the owner) called her and told her they were bailing on the job entirely. Alex's excuse? He claimed he had "been burned" three times before by informed customers and needed to "protect his image and profits." He chose to walk away simply because we asked for industry-standard quality (bonding agents and not working in the rain). When he told my wife they were leaving, she was left in tears, feeling attacked and discriminated against as a senior citizen for simply wanting her home repaired correctly. To summarize why you should look elsewhere: * Lack of Trade Knowledge: He tried to pressure us into patching during a rain threat and admitted he doesn't normally use bonding agents unless you pay extra. * Condescending Attitude: He told my wife I was doing the 3 weeks of prep work "to have a little fun," completely dismissing the hard labor we put in. * Unreliability: He cited "protecting his profits" as a reason to abandon a job for two seniors who had already done all the heavy lifting for him. It is a "businessman's nightmare" to have shady practices exposed, and that is exactly why Alex ran. He is professional only until you ask for transparency. Seeing my wife cry because of his dismissive, "guilty-by-association" attitude was the final straw. If you choose to go with this bunch, make sure you watch their every step. My advice: Do not trust Sun City Stucco with your home or your money. I have seen people who gave good reviews to Sun City Stucco and the only reason I can think that they were posting good reviews is that they either didn't do any research about how stucco is really supposed to be done by an upstanding company and didn't verify that Sun City Stucco would be using the correct process or, they were just completely trusting and didn't verify because they had no idea short cuts to save money were going to be THE procedure Sun City Stucco practices on every job. Slick Don't get a boy to do mans work and dont get a corner cutting "grab and run" so called business to do a job thats made for a professional, thats fair, honest and classy and stands out in the open behind their work, not running away and hiding after abandoning retired senior citizens that know how the job is really supposed to be done!

Fast response, good price, and very high-quality work. Short and simple, worth hiring for stucco…read morework.
