Nellis is a tale of two outcomes; you're either going to score an AMAZING deal, or you're going to get some misrepresented bullshit. A couple of things actually hold Nellis back. First, the aforementioned item descriptions are usually non existent, and too often, flat out wrong. Just recently, I bought a "190 lb bumper plate SET." It was posted as a set with 2 -10lbs, 2-15lbs, 2-25lbs, and 2-45lbs. When I won, and went to pick up, it was ONE SINGLE 45 POUND PLATE! After I returned, it was relisted as "blue set only," which is ALSO wrong. I just checked while writing this, and it FINALLY, accurately lists the item as "single 45lb plate." But you see my point. Sometimes, it actually works in your favor though. I have gotten a bunch of stuff that was listed as 1-star; major damage, missing parts, etc, and the items were perfect, in original packaging. So, the listings are absolutely hit or miss. Bidding is also incredibly shady. I have bid on the EXACT SAME ITEM multiple times, and the ending price just always ends higher than before. You bid $11, the winning bid will be $12. The item will show up again, you bid $13, the winning bid will be $14. The item will show up AGAIN, you bid $25, the winning bid will be $26. It happens too often to be coincidental. Other than those things, it's actually a great little setup. The pickup process is smooth and FAST. You're in an out in minutes. read more

I've been coming to Nellis for years. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars in purchases. I live an hour away so I need to make the visits count and buy heavily for a week and then pick it all up on a single visit.I tied it to jobs I had in NYC or Philadelphia so I could save on time and fuel. I would pick up the stuff believing that it had been vetted; QCd welI bc the website leads a person to believe it. However, that is absolutely NOT the case. So, I learned that EVERYTHING was hit or miss. Most times it was very pleasant. There were some a$$holes here and there barking orders of where to park and having you move your vehicle 6 inches for whatever reason, but there were a lot of people and a lot of moving parts so I just put up with it. Anyway, I realized I had to allow for more time so I could test every single thing I bought lest I be driving back an hour each way to return a faulty item, or the wrong item all together, or just eat the loss if it was not worth the time and fuel. That process added about an hour or so to my visit (+/-) . Everything I've ever purchased was previously opened and repackaged, or the old packaging was reused, albeit usually heavily taped up to a point where a razor knife is a must, not a suggestion. It's needed to get through it all because items can be so taped up there's no way to get open without a sharp blade. Hooking up an electrical inverter to your vehicle to test electrical items is also more than a suggestion. In the past, after testing everything, the return process was a breeze. I would go to the app on my phone, initiate a return, call over one of the peeps in the warehouse and they would process it. Based on the aforementioned way of going about business at Nellis, I made a pickup today. I was on my way to a job in NYC at 9:30 so scheduled the pickup for 7a and arrived at 7:05. I was told to wait. Then the items were brought out to me at about 7:25. I was feeling a bit of pressure bc I still had to get to NYC. I went through all the items and came across one single item that was not what was purchased. It was an electrical outlet. The one advertised had USB outputs on it also. I paid $12, it was worth less than $3. So I did my thing, closed up the truck, prepared to leave, and asked for a return. I was told, as time was getting tighter and tighter, that I had to now drive all the way around the building to an uncovered are and make the return. They had a tent, the patrons with returns were to stand in whatever weather was currently happening. But wait, there's more. I stopped with the one item at the tent. I was close enough to the person I was talking to to simply hand the item to her. I was the only person there. She told me I had to drive all the way down to the other end of the parking lot and come back up and park 8 feet away from where I was. Yeh, now I'm being asked to dance simply for the fun of watching me dance. I said "this is a major pain in the ass" as I could hear the clock ticking. I swiftly drove down the parking lot and made the U-turn and drove back. Then the same girl who told me to jump through that hoop stated her manager would have to process my return and she was all the way down (about 100 or 120 yards) where I made the U turn. A very heavy set woman passive aggressively slow waddled down to where I was and started giving me shit that she did not like the way I made my U-turn and that it threatened the safety of her employees (the people she manages bc certainly this person is not who sign their paychecks) who were 120 yards away from where the U-turn was made. I asked her if they were down there when I made the U-turn and she started screaming that she can do this and she can do that and I cut in and said "I don't give a fukk. Instantly everyone there started saying that they won't accept the return. I said fine, because I had to go. I had no more time for the bullshit I had been facing to get Nellis to take my money and then return what was obviously an attempt to sell me one thing and slip something of lesser value into the package. She then said that she would take the return and cancel my account. I said do what you gotta do and left. I made it to my job with 6 minutes to spare bc I had to drive like a nutjob to make up for lost time at Nellis. I can say that most of what I have purchased from Nellis is ok... maybe 55 to 60% is good, the rest is not and they are fully aware of that. That said, the hassle has become intolerable with the new return policy of getting the run around. I also do believe that there is intentional misrepresentation of what they are selling and a culture of plausible deniability trickling down from the top. I'll never know if my account is cancelled bc I do not plan to ever look for a good deal that could easily be a wasted trip from Delaware to Delran NJ (Not the easiest place to get to). Nellis auction in Delran was great when it first opened but now not as much. The item descriptions are usually non existen, or completley false. I received items that were awful or not working AT ALL, the componets to plug in items is completely missing and should have never been listed. Becasue I live in South Philly I cannot return items withing 7 days most of the time so I'm screwed. You get 7 days. I recently wond a CHI flat iron for 40. yes it would have been a good deal if it wernt for the fact that when I opened the box it was not the CHI advetised, I won Silk shampoo and conditioner, on the box it said "Set, keep closed" when I got home and opened it there was only the shampoo, I purchased a straightener, it was open and I was ok with that, however, it was disgusting. and dirty. It has become so that 3 out of 5 items don't work at all or are spilling out the container and was purposely covered up or sealed in a bag where you cannot see it. They will also take furniture sets, break them up advertise that its worth the full price only to see the other half listed and at full price if anything only a "partial set" then it should be priced as such. Was buying pretty regularly in the past year until this last interaction. won an auction got a car seat and was given a computer keyboard. recognized immediately that there was a problem and returned the item in the spot. was also told my original item couldn't be retrieved and I'd have to rebid. My return/refund was denied because "a different item was returned"(duh). After contacting customer support and multiple back and forth communication, I was promised a refund IMMEDIATELY that would show up in 4-5 days. it never came. I THEN received an email saying ... Oops, software issue and we lost all information in your complaint. please resubmit. This used to be a great place when it first opened up, but now it seems like they can never get an order correct or are practicing false advertising. My last two purchases we're not as advertised when I pick them up. My most recent purchase, a window, cleaning kit, was supposed to have a squeegee as part of the kit. I get home and no squeegee. My purchase prior to this was supposed to be for four bottles of Dawn dish detergent. Again got home and there was only one bottle in the box. When they first started they were good. Now I take back more than I keep and I only buy what is said to be new. Very few of the items are new, usually returns because they are damaged. No one seems to be checking anything. You can hear the pieces rattling in the box when they hand them too you, boxes are torn open and seem to be used returns. I stopped buying for awhile because I was frustrated and then tried again. Received 7 items with possibly two being new. The rest were broken or used with wear. I noticed that when I return them and tell them, the next day they are on auction for the next victim. Fortunately I live close. I would be pissed if had to go far away to return. This place is hit or miss. There is A LOT of items that are NOT listed properly and you show up for pickup only to get the wrong items, broken items or items missing parts when the description does not indicate that they're missing parts. When you return something, it could take a while before you get your money back on your credit card, but they charge you for everything before you even pick up. They are refusing a refund even though they have all the means to see that I did not pick up my items nor did anybody on my behalf. I have gotten items that were completely wrong, expired, broken or non-working, even though I only bid on 5 star items. Watever you do, do NOT throw out any packaging before you try the item. Today, I waited for almost an hour AFTER parking to finally get my items. Noone came to me. I had to find someone 4 times, the last time being the manager. I only ordered simple items, nothing expensive or that requires power (lesson learned - see above). After this experience, I will not go there again. They do a horrible job describing items. There is a 12' step ladder on there today advertised as a 40 foot extension ladder. They buy items from Temu and people bid far higher than they could buy it for. A battery backup sold for 600 but Temu has it for 80. There are far more people bidding now, so the 45 minute trip is rarely worth the risk. read more

This site is super addicting! You can find some good stuff on here. I been shopping on here since April 2025. Lately they been a little off with the description of the item. It may show one thing but, you may get a similar item. So be careful and you can always return the item within 7days of purchase so go through your stuff early. But over all you place your order. Pick a pickup time. You are in and out in 5 to 10 minutes tops. But I noticed lately going in on a Saturday Noon to 2pm the lines be crazy. But the staff at Nellis keep the line moving. Everyone is always nice. They answer your questions. I'm giving 4 stars because they been messing up the descriptions within the last 3 months or so. But that don't stop me from ordering on an average of $100 to $200 almost every week detergent, clothes, elections, kitchen stuff, cleaning solutions, pet food, and tissues. You name it. I was novice to bidding on Nellis and excited when I won my bids. I drove over two hours to retrieve the items that were both described as "NOT having any missing pieces." I didn't know to open the items while there and exhaustingly review each box to ensure it had all the pieces. As you guessed, it didn't and it wasn't worth the drive and time to get a refund for my 100+ dollars for 2 items. Zero out of 10 experience. Total waste of time and money with nothing more than a "you should have checked or returned in 7 days from customer service." I'm a frequent shopper and overall I enjoy shopping from Nellis until today. I waited over an hour and a half for my items. The manager Krystal Ortiz approached me with a bad attitude to inform me I can get a credit or I can leave her alone. I was also on the phone with Nellis customer service to address the hour long wait and Krystal walked away and again giving a rude attitude and look. This is very unfortunate to write a review about a manager that shows little to none compassion for the long wait. Honestly the employees were much more helpful and nice than the manager. Customer service had me on hold for 25mins, I did not receive a credit or an apology for the way I was treated. Nellis should reconsider who is the weekend manager due to the unprofessional attitude and lack of compassion coming from the current manager Krystal Ortiz during busy hours like the weekend. My pick up time was scheduled for 1130am and you can clearly see I was on the phone with customer service at Nellis Auction past 13mins. I was on hold for over 20mins time stamp at 12:39. The customer service agent who answered that called said all my items were ready and no items were being live picked since I had a scheduled pick up for 11:30am which was confirmed to the in house staff as I put my phone on speaker. After arriving at home, the customer service manager also confirmed I had 3 scheduled pick ups for 11:30am. Your response is not accurate with timing. read more

First time buying from this seller and experience was not a good one. Put up for auction a NEW Homemate Heated Electric Throw. This was one of several items I won at their online auction. When I got home, I noticed the box had been opened and resealed. Ther was a red security tag on the top saying the box had been checked for security reasons and resealed. Inside the box there was a form from the Amazon Online return center saying the item was returned for being defective. This is what Nellis put up for auction as new! Filled out a return form on their site and was informed I had until 11/7/24 to return it to their warehouse. Don't understand why they just didn't offer a refund and tell me to throw the item in the trash, so it does not get auctioned off again. Instead I have to schlep this item back to them for a refund. Will be my last trip there...Buyer Beware! They encourage u to leave feedback but the feedback site is inoperable...that is why I am leaving a review here. read more
