I'm a low-maintenance kinda girl who never used to bother with getting my hair done professionally, I would just trim it myself when the time came to freshen up those pesky split-ends. That is until I met Ty! AND the great part is that I still get to be a low-maintenance girl when dealing with my hair, except now my hair LOOKS fabulously high-maintenance! All thanks to Ty. She took a girl with a super fine, straight, and (I'll admit it) slightly boring due and transformed my look to fit my spunky, playful attitude. How she got my super fine hair to hold such a fun, wavy, loose perm is beyond me, but she did and she did it well! My hair has held its flirty wave for a few months now and, with just one visit back to have a quick trim to keep it at the new length I love, I'm looking forward to the next perm with her. I live around the corner from Nellie's Thisle salon and believe in doing business locally, so I have gone to virtually every stylist that has worked in that spot for the last 15 years. I wanted to try a new salon and went to see Ty at Nellie's Thistle. I never expect to love the cut and foil a first time around but I absolutely did and just went back a 2nd time where I asked her for her suggestions on a significant style change. I love it!! I got my hair cut and highlighted yesterday by Ty. I've never had anyone listen and talk to me so much in order to understand exactly what I wanted.
