Neko yubu is a take out only place with yubus. It's rice with toppings wrapped in a sweet and savory tofu skin. I really enjoy all the flavors. My favorite is the fresh salmon, torched salmon and butter crab. It's a good mix of sweet and savory but might be a bit sweet for some folks but I definitely look forward to picking these up each time.

This place specializes in yubu, which are tofu pockets stuffed with rice & topped with different toppings. I tried the myungran (mentaiko) mayo, fresh salmon, grilled beef bulgogi, torched salmon & butter crab. My favorite would have to be the mentaiko. I wished the salmon was more buttery & fresher. The only one I didn't like was the beef bulgogi because for some reason it was cold. This place is pick up only, so there's no seating. You can either order there or through their website. Overall, the food here is pretty good & would come back to get my favorite & try their other yubu.
We came back to try the mentaiko, and it was so worth it! We placed an online pickup order, and it was a quick and easy transaction. There isn't really any seating besides some benches outside, so it is definitely a casual to-go spot. I also recommend eating it asap. The beef bulgogi was more moist and juicy this time since we didn't leave it sitting for a while. The fresh tuna and fresh salmon were also really good! Super fresh and great texture! Out of all of them, the mentaiko is definitely my #1, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for something unique!

The woman who serviced me was very nice. I was unaware of the ordering policy. But she took my order and asked if I'd be waiting and would have the food brought out to my car. The Tofu pouches filled with sweet treats of salmon, crab and spicy chicken were amazing..I ordered 6 along with a miso soup. I think next time I might have to double down in my order. Theaslo there was plenty of parking space and it was not overly crowded. The location is very nice , and you can try a different array of foods in the area

The textures were all so balanced, I literally had to go back immediately to get more before I left the premises. I cannot recommend this place enough!! It is hands down the best yubu rice I have ever had. Ever!! Not to mention the price is really good for the taste and quality. Make sure to be ready to wait a bit on your order. There is also no indoor or outdoor seating/waiting area so make sure to take a car and be able to wait inside that car. Also the neighborhood is a little sketchy so lock your doors while you wait!

Everything tasted fresh and had a lot of favor. The torched salmon was probably my favorite, and beef bulgogi was really good too. It's more like a pickup order spot than a restaurant, with few other food places in the same plaza. The food was made pretty quickly, and everything was packed well. Overall, a solid spot if you're looking for a quick bit and some fresh, tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu .
My family & I really enjoy Neko Yubu. Please keep in mind that they don't really have a dining area, as their space is a kitchen. Nonetheless, the food & service are top notch! I often order online & pick it up on the way home. My order is always accurate, the ingredients are fresh, & the portion size is good. Spreading the good word about this place to my friends & colleagues. My favorites are the butter crab, torched salmon, & tuna mayo.

I first tried them in a random Chinese buffet in the sushi section where they would put random crabmeat on top of rice inside or seaweed salad and call it a day. I love the texture and hint of sweetness from it. So anyway, when I saw this place online, I knew I had to come and try it. My husband and I ordered 8 pieces and each and every bite was delightful! My favorites were the seared salmon, egg mayo, tuna, and fresh salmon. My husband being my husband.. didn't get the hype lol. He said it would be better if they had hot foods on it. Im sure they do but most of what we ordered were like sushi or warm foods. I truly love it here. I would come back for this again.
I decided to get out of the house and take a ride to Neko Yubu to try their Yubu Bites, and when I tell you it was a 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend. Everything was super fresh, super flavorful, and the customer service was A1. It's a ghost kitchen setup, so you drive up and order once you arrive. There's no dining area, so expect to eat in your car, but honestly, they're so good you won't want to wait anyway. I ordered a box of six which included Torched Salmon, Kimchi Bacon, Butter Crab, Carottes Râpées, Cheese Buldak, and Beef Bulgogi. The Beef Bulgogi was hands down my favorite, but every single one hit. They don't have a huge menu, and I've already tried six of the flavors, so I'll definitely be back to try the rest. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend checking this spot out.
This store is located at this big food plaza which is like ghost kitchen. Only takeouts and delivery orders. I've been here twice now and ordered the same thing both times. I highly recommend this spot because all the yubu I ordered are very delicious and flavorful. I have no complaints at all. You can either order from a food delivery app or order in person. A staff member will order from their iPad and you can either wait in the car or wait at the storefront. It takes about 5-8 min for them to work on your order. This is probably one of my favorite spots in Dallas!! read more

Tried Yubu for the first time and it was an absolute pleasure! Everything was so flavorful, and I really enjoyed the soy pocket, which was soaked in a light, slightly sweet syrup that gave it just the right hint of sweetness. This is a to-go-only place, but they have a nice variety of drink options on the menu as well. I also really liked the shopping experience--it was so easy to order online, and whenever we had questions, the staff were incredibly helpful and took the time to answer everything. This is a nice cozy small business. Overall, such a fun and unique experience. Definitely looking forward to trying more from Yubu! read more

Cute shop, good flavor! Yubu's in general are great, well prepared, cute packaging, I wouldnt go out of my way to go here if I lived far, but if youre in the area its worth a quick stop! HIGHLY recommend the mentaiko yubu. read more
What an absolute gem. This place truly amazed me with how delicious and unique their food is. These tofu wrapped "sushi" bites are perfectly built and taste absolutely delightful. Each with their own flavor profile and texture. I got the tuna mayo, torched salmon, egg mayo, and the Buldak cheese and it was a treat trying them all. The service was fast and the person who took our order was very kind and quick. We arrived 15 mins before they were closing (we don't do this often- promise!) and she happily took our order in front of the store in the cold. It's been a little over an hour and I'm still thinking about them. read more
This place is sooo good. I had it back in September, and I still think about it today. Their service is very friendly, and patient. There is a little wait as they assemble your order, but they'll hand deliver it to your car since there is no indoor/outdoor seating here. We got the mentaiko mayo, torched salmon, butter crab, and fresh salmon. The fresh salmon was very light and refreshing in contrast to the cooked/creamy options we had. The torched salmon and butter crab both had those hints of smokiness that paired with the creaminess of the sauces perfectly. Mentaiko was my personal favorite because it was so creamy and tasty without a single hint of that fishy taste you usually encounter. I really like their combo deals! I got 8 differently flavors to try with others. My favorite were butter crab, mentaiko mayo, and fresh tuna. My boyfriend enjoys the pork and seared salmon. One thing to note is that the tuna mayo tasted exactly like canned tuna. The flavors are strong and lean on the sweeter side. Located inside a prep kitchen complex, this spot is takeout only. Super easy to order online or just walk up. The staff is really friendly and happy to explain their concept if you're new to it. Everything comes as toppings over rice inside a deep, thin, sweet fried tofu pocket. The sweetness works for some combos but not all. I ordered an 8-piece set: tofu, myungran, butter crab, spicy pork, bulgogi, egg, kimchi bacon, and salmon. Overall, it was a bit too sweet for me, but I really liked the egg, the myungran (wish it had more/larger salmon roe), and the buttery crab. Before my trip to Dallas, I've been seeing so many mukbangs of this restaurant. I had to add it to my list and so glad I got try it!! I had no idea that the restaurant had a break from 3-5 pm. However, they still take online orders! There's no where to sit so we did take out and sat on the bench outside. We ordered the rose tteokboki, strawberry + guava ade, beef bulgogi, grilled spicy pork, fresh salmon, torched salmon, butter crab, and tuna mayo. LET ME TELL YOU !! The strawberry ade was SO refreshing especially since it was freaking 90 degrees outside. The yubu is such a yummy picnic meal or if you want a snack! My favorite was the fresh salmon and the grilled spicy pork. You can skip the rose tteokboki but I felt like it wasn't that fresh in my opinion. I loved the concept and hope to be back again (with seating hopefully???)! read more
After finding out about this place thanks to social media, my sister and I had to try this place out while we're in Dallas. The order process is easy, and our food was prepared on time. They offer curbside pickup, which I appreciate. We decided to try 5 different flavors and the yuba soup. The spicy pork and cheese buldak were our favorites. Since it was our first time trying this type of cuisine, we shared the meal, but next time I would order my own box to enjoy for a more filling meal. read more

I won a giveaway on Instagram for a free drink and complimentary set of 4 yubu from Neko Yubu, but since I was sharing with my husband I also ordered an extra set of 4 to try more flavors. I stopped by on a Friday around noon and was served very quickly! The matcha latte was mostly milk, nothing much to write home about, but it makes sense at that price point and it was a nice drink for a warm day. The yubu was delicious! Our favorites were the mentaiko and torched + raw salmon (especially love the wasabi cream that was mixed with the raw salmon), and the char on the butter crab was great too. The other meat options were solid but I didn't super love the tuna mayo even though that's usually one of my favorite flavors in other rice balls and kimbap - the tuna salad here was really dense and there was so much topping that it overwhelmed the balance of the sweet yubu and the rice. I do love that they're really generous with the toppings but the tuna mayo just didn't hit. This spot is pretty out of the way for me but it's very quick service/grab and go so I imagine it's great as lunch for people who work in the area! Pro tip to order ahead online so you don't have to wait when the lunch rush gets busy. read more
We were in a rush and came here for a quick dinner before a concert. You order at the door and they will deliver it to your car. The concept is unique, tofu skin and rice with toppings. My favorite was the torched salmon and butter crab! We are it so quickly I wish we had time for more. I also ordered the mango matcha, which wasn't bad! For how much matcha goes these days, it was a pretty decent size for the price. Lots of parking in the front for you to park and eat in the car. Definitely recommend! read more

8.5/10 like everyone said, there's no seating, but everything else was good. i love their branding and attention to details. everything was good quality (except for the napkins but im not going to take points off for that lol). food wise, my ranking is: 1) mentaiko 2) butter crab 3) fresh tuna 4) fresh salmon 5) torched salmon 6) cheese buldak. the yubu are honestly a little smaller than i thought 4 is good enough, 5 if you want to be full. the mentaiko was very creamy and flavorful. i normally like salmon more but here i like the tuna better. i had high expectations for the torched salmon but imo it was too cooked. overall great place though read more

Saw the hype for Neko Yubu all over Instagram and TikTok, so I had to try it!! I ordered the butter crab, tuna mayo, tofu, egg mayo, grilled beef bulgogi, fresh salmon, torched salmon, and grilled spicy pork. Everything was good, but nothing really stood out from the rest-it very much blended with everything. Service wise, I had placed my order online about 45 minutes in advance, but when I arrived it wasn't ready. Turns out someone came in, claimed to be me, and took my food... how are you going to steal food from others especially from a ghost kitchen of all places lol. Thankfully, the staff remade my order quickly and handled it very well. Overall, the food is definitely cute and Instagram worthy, but a little over hyped in my opinion. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if a friend wanted to go, I'd join them! read more

Cute yubu takeout concept! Reminds me of a couple yubu places I've been in nyc. It's take out only, no sit ins though there is a bench outside you could sit if you wanted to. The yubu flavors that I felt were really strong were the myungran(명란)/mentaiko, kimchi bacon, and beef bulgogi. The other ones were still delicious, but wish it was a bit more flavorful. For example, the egg mayo was really fresh but it was more on the bland side, more than what I'm used to when eating Korean style egg mayo dishes. We also had to wait for a bit despite ordering quite some time ahead, but the workers were really nice and kept us in the loop the entire time. Will be back for sure, highly recommend! read more
Neko Yubu is located inside of a "ghost kitchen" complex, which I was surprised by because I actually expected a small dining area. You order online or with an employee by the door, and they bring it out to you in your car. Their packaging is pretty flimsy, so I would say to be very very careful when you are unboxing and unpackaging to eat in your car. I ordered 6 types of inari, and I loved the raw salmon and crab mayo the best. I would say to bring a friend or a loved one to share these because it definitely is a lot of food for one person, and it can fill you up very quickly. The flavor and actual portion sizes are great. I also ordered a mango matcha latte, which was sweet and good, but there was a ton of milk so it's not a super matcha-forward or matcha-heavy latte. My last item was the rose tteokbokki, which was just okay and isn't something I would order again. The flavor of the sauce is great, but the texture of the rice cakes is too soft and almost overcooked. I'm really glad that a place like this exists in the DFW area! It was a really far drive for me so it'll be hard for me to make another trek here, but such a fun and aesthetic food to share with friends. They're very friendly, and they estimated 15 minutes for my order but it came out much faster than that. read more

This is a very interesting concept. It becomes even more interesting when you find out the "restaurant" is in the middle of a business park. Tofu pockets with different fillings. Or should I say SWEETENED tofu pockets. I don't know why it's sweetened, even though I like the taste. However, sometimes I think it's a little TOO sweet... The majority of the fillings are good. I like the butter crab the most. The spicy ones can pack a little kick so be careful. They also have seasonal items and "limited time" fillings/flavors as well so you will need to follow them on Instagram to find out more. A quick note, Neko Yubu is TOGO ONLY. You place the order online then go pick it up or have it delivered to you (for additional fee). read more

Lu family had a craving for sushi and a friend recommended we try this place. It is a take-out place, so since we were in the area we thought we give it a try. We ordered online and then picked the items up when ready and brought it home. The service was good and food was pretty good. We would do it again. read more
I would rate this place a 4.5/5. While this place is really unique and they make food that's quite rare in dallas, it's an interesting set up. There is no inside waiting area or seating. There is also a lack of signage that says to wait outside for someone to come out to take our order, and you just awkwardly stand in front of the door waiting (though we didn't have to wait long). Just keep that in mind! The food itself though was very good, there are even 2 types of salmon- one torched and the other not torched. The sauces added are also a little different, there's wasabi mayo in the fresh salmon. The meat to rice ratio was excellent as well, they piled the protein on. I do really appreciate that while we were waiting for our food outside, they brought us a little snack to munch on. They didn't have to do that, but they wanted to make sure their customers are happy! read more

The Bulgogi is delicious, gives you that classic Bulgogi teeth over rice with a little bit of extra sauce in between. For the seafood lovers the butter crab absolutely just melts in your mouth. If you love spicy the Buldak chicken is so flavorful and just the right amount of spice for you to enjoy it. read more
