I took my truck to get fixed the bumper fixed, they fixed but the plastic covers are one time use, I told them that they keep moving, they told me to take the truck so they can take pictures. I did months later I went back and said that the girl that helped got moved, another person took the pictures, called about a month later and they kept giving me the run around and that they'll call me back. Shoutout to the entire team of all areas in Neira's Collision Center for such a great job! Thank you so much for taking care of my vehicle and I. I was hit by a car and my insurance appointed this place to me. I was wiry due to the reviews, but then again the other suggested collision body shops didn't have much reviews to go by so I put huge faith towards this decision. Which I'm proud I did. So far nothing is wrong with my vehicle if so I would update review. The lady in the front desk had great customer service and is VERY polite. I'm sorry I forgot her name, but she knows who she is. I was updated through text of what was going on with my car and so that was great. My insurance was awesome also! Everything was taking care of such as the repair besides my deductible and my rental was there. ALL IN ONE PLACE. I didn't have to drive around to get my rental. Everything was convenient and it made life easier. I dropped my car on a Monday and go it back the following Thursday. Not only did they continuously push back what day I could pick my car up, but someone stole a personal item out of my glove box. It wasn't something of tremendous value, it's the fact that someone's grimy hands were rifling through MY things that were enclosed in the glove box - somewhere nobody should have been in. They did a good job to repair my bumper but the worker was so careless and got grease onto the paint of my driver side door which makes the clear coat dull. Also, the inside of my car has spot stains. They charged so much money for labor but did not bother to clean up their own mess. I was happy that my bumper was replaced and repair but the laziness to clean up after the job shows unprofessionalism. They don't deserve 5 stars. read more

I took my vehicle to Neiras Collision Center (they were the preferred auto body shop of my insurance). They were supposed to fix a fender, replace 3 wheels and fix alignment. They had my vehicle for over a month. The first red flag/ issue was they could not find my wheels. They did not tell me until I called and asked for an update. I had to find my wheels for them( which i was able to find in 10 minutes using google). They then ordered my wheels and spent another week before letting me know my vehicle was complete. When I showed up to pick up my vehicle I did a check of the quality of work. It came to my immediate attention that my automatic trunk did not work. It would not open. I immediatly let the shop know. they took my car to the back and frantically tried to get the trunk to work (they showed true admission of fault). They could not get the trunk to close or open properly. After 45 min of trying and unhooking several components they still could not get it to work. Sam Neira Jr. then told me "I will take care of it" (I have a witness) "If you want me to drive it to the Mercedes dealership or you can, and tell them I will take care of it" (again I have a witness). I then scheduled an appointment with my local Mercedes dealership. The next morning I took the vehicle in. They told me the repair would be $3500. When they called Sam to notify him of the damages, he said he was not going to fix. Im assuming they tried to force my truck closed. They needed to access the trunk on multiple ocassions to disconnect the battery and to access my wheel lock key(which they didnt have when I noticed it was missing, they had to run to another shop to retrieve). They trunk has a mechanism that electronically pulls the trunk tight when you close. Im assuming they slammed it and broke the motor. All I know for certain is WHEN I DROPPED MY CAR OFF FOR REPAIRS THE TRUNK WORKED! To top it off. My alignment was never fixed. It pulls so hard right that if I let go of the wheel I will leave the street and hit the curb. To say I had a bad experience is an understatement! I regret taking my car to a shop that has no respect for its customers or their vehicles. They simply wanted to do a rush mickey mouse job and hope I wouldnt notice. Im the type of guy that is very observant and take great care of my valuable possessions. Customer beware of this company and steer clear if you are looking for body work. I am worse off than when I first went in for minor work. Im stuck with a $3500+ repair that I didnt create. lesson learned, the hard way read more

Just read Frank H.'s post from 2013 and wish I had read this first! I think Neira's WAS a good repair shop but they are dropping the ball lately. Maybe too much secured work from Geico? Who knows, who cares? The repair was completed and looks good, HOWEVER they also dragged out the timeline and had very bad communication/updates. They didn't even start the repair until almost a week after having my vehicle!!! The real kicker is they damaged the already chipped windshield and ruined the driver side custom tint. (The repair work was isolated to passenger side). AND YOU GUESSED IT, they did not take responsibility for their ineptitude. They had the nerve to question us that the damage was already there! Nice customer service, huh? Hey, Neira's how about a walk-thru before accepting the vehicle that way you don't have to call your customer's LIARS when YOU damage their vehicle. This is the 2rd repair I have had done at Neira's Collision Center. My wife's Range Rover Sport recently got bumped into and banged up the front end a bit. It was hit just right where there was damage to the front drivers fender, bumper, hood, and headlight. I took it in and got an estimate that was very fair for their quality of work. It was nice because they did all the dealing with my insurance company, all I did was file the claim. They were fast, and the work done of the Rover was exceptional. The color match is 100% dead on. The fender and hood alignment was perfect. All in all they did an outstanding job. Their staff is very friendly and they keep you up to date by phone on the status of your repair. I would definitely recommend Neira's. I have been really happy with their quality of work and attention to detail. Thumbs up from me! read more

My car was towed to their shop after I got into an accident. Although I did not get my car serviced there (it is being totaled since the damages exceed the worth of the car), they kept my car at their facility until it was transported back home at not cost. They are very helpful and answered all my questions. They quote they gave me was detailed to the actual damages; they DID NOT try to sneak unnecessary repairs to make extra money. It is always difficult to find a reputable auto body shop/collision center and my experience with this business has been nothing but positive. A trust-worthy business establishment. Have had 3 vehicles painted by Neira's and all have been excellent quality. Just took my Cadillac to Neira's to have some scratches worked on. I was once again impressed with the quality of the painting by Neira's and even more impressed that it didn't cost that much out of pocket (no insurance involved). I highly recommend Neira's and David to anyone needing any work on their vehicles. April 24, 2018 While washing my car on Sunday I noticed a glob of what appeared to be tree sap on the roof of my Cadillac. I didn't want to damage the finish by trying to remove it myself. This morning I drove to Neira's without an appointment. David stopped what he was doing and went and got the materials needed to remove the sap and polish the area on my roof himself. My new Mercedes got hit pretty badly and I took it to an elite Mercedes collision center down south to get it repaired. Bad decision. I had to fight with them to get basic craftsmanship issues taken care of such as gaps in the panels and scratches/dents they made. I couldn't trust that they checked the frame correctly so I took it to Neira's to get it checked out. Neira's professionalism, honesty and level of care is top notch. Long list of complaints. I would not recommend this place. I used them after an accident because both insurance companies had them as preferred repair. I had to return multiple times to have problems fixed ( they never address the problems told me my car was fine )and in the end I ended up taking it to a different repair shop it took them five minutes to find the issues and was told that this should have been easily diagnosed if they had actually looked at it. All I will say is save yourself the Extreme headaches they will cause you and go somewhere else. read more

Neira's repaired my car recently. My experience is as follows: The good- Neira's people are very nice, and they will try to be very helpful. The quality of the repair is outstanding, and it was accomplished pretty quick. When the shop neglected to replace one of my undamaged interior parts, Neira's sent a couple of guys to my place and they installed the parts in my garage. Now the bad- The car was given back to me unfinished, and I did not even know that they had left off my interior trim piece mentioned above. They neglected to order a trim piece for my air diffuser under my back bumper. The FACTS that they left these pieces off are the elements that prove my car was unfinished. This is not opinion. Also, and probably a lesser issue, the car was not ready on Thursday, they gave it back to me on Friday evening unfinished. They should not tell customers things will be ready when they won't. I did not believe it when they told me the car would be ready Thursday. And this is my Opinion: Neira's collision center is a Geico approved place. So Neira's is loyal to Gieco first and foremost, the car owners are certainly a distant second. I base this on statements made to me by Neira's people that alluded to getting my rental car back on Friday night as a Bullshit excuse on why my unfinished car was returned to me. From my standpoint, I could care less about Geico's expenses involving my rental car, as it is paid for every time I make a payment to Geico. My cars are more than transportation to me, and I do not accept anyone's reasoning as to why my car was given back unfinished. Hell, they could have kept my car till finished, and I would still have turned in the rental car to save their precious Geico some money. Bottom Line- Did they do good work? Hell Yes They Did! Would I go Back? Hell No, My needs must be job one with people servicing my vehicles, not my Insurance Company's needs. Some may say why am I complaining as Geico is paying the bill. Bullshit- my car was not released to me until I paid my deductible in full. So there is no doubt Neira's saw my money before they got the money from the insurance company. read more

Took my vehicle to replace the bumper, long story but it was a lease, Kia dealer recommend them since it was down the street. My insurance processed the payment pretty quick the car is ready. I get a phone call from Josh he was so rude and demanding! "You can't touch that car till we receive payment" and your deductible has to be cash! I told him ok, his tone, his attitude! I need a confirmation email he said so we will be paid or you can't touch that car! Isn't that assumed? He kept saying that! I told him what you going to do about it! I was so mad! Once it's fixed it's Kia's car I told him. Also when I picked up my car we had lots of loose change. All the quarters were picked out the pennies and dimes and nickels were leftover! Everywhere you see posts of we are not responsible for anything left in your car! Ok but taking something not yours is wrong! If we ever need a body shop I will never choose this one! I took my 2014 Nissan Titan with some front end damage due to a minor fender bender that I had to Neira's Collision Center on Gasoline Alley Dr. They told me it would take about 30 days to repair but the Neira's in East Bakersfield could get it done faster, so I dropped it off and had them take it to the East side Neira's. The following Monday I went to sign for all the paperwork giving them authorization to work on the truck. I asked them when it would be done and the manager told me it would be by that Friday. Well you guessed it, it wasn't done! They didn't even start on it until 2 weeks after they got it. I kept driving by every other day to see if the truck had been moved from its original spot where they parked but it hadn't moved for approximately 30 days. I was never contacted as to any updates. Then when I finally got a call from them they told me they had to order another hood that would fit it better, and then they would have the appraiser come out again to reappraise the truck. All in all it took a little over 2 months to get my truck back and the repairs are less than satisfying. The paint job is good. But they never replaced the side fenders, the 2 corners for the bumpers, they left the bottom skid plate loose, the radiator cross member is not painted, the hose to the coolant reservoir did not have the clamp on it, the headlights where not adjusted. When I approached them with the parts that where not replaced they told me that it was not paid for by my insurance. Bottom line - If you have the appraiser go out a second time to check the vehicle, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED LISTED BEFORE YOU CALL THE APPRAISER TO CHECK IT OUT!!!! Excuse after excuse and blaming others for your mistakes and incompetence does not make for a good business. As a service manager you should go out to every car that is allegedly completed and check it top to bottom before calling the customer and telling them it is completed. By not doing so you are committing fraud and that's illegal!!!! read more

On my way from Washington St to Bakersfield on I5 I rear ended a car. 111 degrees and 30 miles north of Hwy 58. I made it home, called my insurance, and they referred me to Neira's. They are a network provider for my insurance. I took it in the next day fearing that it may be totaled. I love my Nissan Armada and did not want it totaled. Ÿ I spoke with George and he felt that it would not be totaled. This was last Tuesday. Got the estimate, approved it and they went to work. In the meantime I wanted some body work done on my lift gate. I picked my car up today; Friday. A little over a week, but understandable given the extensive damage to my front end and adding on the lift gate. My car is beautiful. She looks brand new. They did an awesome job!! I will admit I didn't want to leave my car here because of the previous bad reviews here and on google. Geico offered a warranty on the repairs for my vehicle if I had it done at one of their approved centers and this happen to be one of them so that created some peace of mind. So I let Neira's work on my car and everything went smooth. I dropped off my car and they kept me updated on the status of my repairs via text and would get the occasional phone call. I got it one day after the expected completion date but to me that wasn't a big deal because I would rather they do things right and take their time instead of rushing the job and doing it wrong. As of right now I'm happy about letting them fix it. Ricardo from Geico helped me along the way and did an amazing job. Often times people just leave bad reviews when something goes wrong but don't leave a good one when things are done right so here is mine for a job well done. so angry with these people for trying to pull a fast one,so I bought a 2016 impala and wanted the front and rear bumpers painted, we've been using these guys for a very long time.they took the car in called 3 days later.then things went down hill from the time I got there.aparently they don't communicate very well with eachother down there.they called me down way to early,with my med issues sitting is very hard.they didn't seem to care.were very rude about it.the worst was when I was suppose to get my car,I thought it was odd,that one they didn't do a walk around to make sure I was happy, and to make sure they didn't damage anything.i also thought the way they parked my car was odd.so first when I go out they jacked up my front plate,so they'd up keeping your car again,I walk in to tell them I'm not happy,I meet 3 rude employees, I end up leaving in tears feeling totally done wrong,I go,home my husband goes back,he some how ends up with my car,when he gets back with my car,mind you I hadn't seen my whole car yet,it now all,makes,sense, they had tried hiding that one of the workers scratched the hell out of my trunk,and tried to play off that he didn't do it.my husband goes back down there, the sales men try the old I take pics of all the cars issues,guess what that pic wasn't there, because it wasn't there when I dropped it,they did.they did great work.but when they screw up they work real hard to get out of it.so disappointed in them.really check your car over before you leave for any damage. read more

Absolutely Terrible. WOULD NOT RECOMEND TO ANYONE, Especially if you have a nice car. My insurace sent me to them to get a quote for repairs on my vehicle. I decided to go ahead and have them make the repairs after i was quoted. I took it in on my scedualed day to start repairs (on a Wensday) They told me that it would be done on Friday. Dont get me wrong i know this isn't garunteed however no one called me on Friday to tell me that my car in fact was not going to be done. I called and the lady i was talking to told me that it looked like it wasnt going to be done until Monday but she would have to have somone call me back. NO ONE called me back and that afternoon I called back and they said that it for sure was not going to be done but it should be done on Monday. On Monday I called to see what time I was going to be able to get my car and she said that it looked like it was not going to be done until Tuesday but again she would have to have someone call me back to let me know for sure.. NO ONE CALLED. I called that afternoon and asked once again, when I would be able to get my car and she said she would have to check and get back with me. I asked to speak to her manager and when I did speak to the manager he basically said theres nothing he could do about it and unapoligetically said he was sorry nobody called me this whole time. Finally on Tuesday I was able to get my car when they were closing and I was in a hurry so i didnt look at it too much. When I was at home the next day i noticed that there was what looked like wax residue all over, it also looked as if they took it threw a drive-thru car wash which I DO NOT do or they washed it with a dirty towel. It has little tiny scratches ALL over it from that. The car was dirty when i took it in but if I knew they were going to wash it like that i would have asked that they didnt wash it. Its only 6 months old and a $60,000 Car and now it has little scratches all over it.. read more

We went to Neira's for extensive auto repair after an accident in 2012, and they did a wonderful job. They were so friendly and accommodating to us, and completed high quality work in a timely manner. We recently had to have our shield replaced on the same car, and even though I don't think it was completely covered by our warranty, they quickly replaced it without charging us! By the way, this required obtaining the part from the Toyota dealership, and they still got it done in less than one full day. On top of that, because we live close to the location we used, Sam offered to give me a ride home AND to drop the car off to us when it was finished! When I asked what we could do to thank them (including writing a review), Sam simply said, "Nothing, we just really appreciate your business." We couldn't believe it - it's so rare to have a business selflessly go so far above and beyond for its customers. Needless to say, we'll be using Neira's for ALL our future auto repairs, warranty or not! read more

I would first like to say the work done on my dad's car was simply amazing. However, when we arrived the girl at the front dest was on her personal phone and looked up at us and basically ignored us. A lady that sits in the back came from her desk and ask us how we were doing and could she help us. She was very nice and happy. That's where the good customer service ends. The girl that was on her phone was suppose to call us. She never did. When we told her she never called us. She lied and she did. She is mean and had no respect for the customers. I called for updates and she acted like I was taking up her time. When we came to pick up the car she was eating at her desk. How nasty is that? Isnt that what a break room is for? Once again the lady that sits in the back was there and help us. The work that they do is great and comes with a lifetime warrenty. But if I was the manager I would serioulsy make some changes with the staff. read more
