Misinformation about what you need to get a new c-pap after waiting to get the info they asked for. Now I'm without a c-pap and will have to find a reputable store to help. read more

Definitely zero stars for this store. Do NOT go there. They lie about the insurance requirements just to get the sales. Candance specifically lies. She even recommended I wear the mask during the day just to try and scam the insurance company. Joey (the President) is rude and not helpful at all. DO NOT waste your time, money and insurance claims on this place. Big time scammers. read more

I was recently passing through Birmingham on vacation and was missing a piece for my machine. It was Saturday and I was thinking I was stuck with a week of restless nights and sore throats. Neighborhood CPAP came to the rescue. They were kind and courteous on the phone and in person. They were very knowledgeable about my machine and my mask. They got me fixed up in no time and seemed to be more worried about my dilemma than their bottom line. I can't say enough good things about this store! read more

They are very customer oriented and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions with ease.

Knowledgeable staff, friendly expertise, and fantastic service. We have been using Neighborhood CPAP for almost twenty years. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They offer fantastic service, and truly care about their customers. During the pandemic, they offered curbside service to protect customers' health, which we greatly appreciated. They offer in-store fittings so you can try out a new machine or style of mask, and are always willing to help with insurance questions. We will never shop anywhere else for our CPAP supplies! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. read more

Great people to work with on your CPAP equipment!! Go see them if you have any CPAP questions.

You would have a better customer experience at the DMV. I went in for new mask etc. Two large women hollered at me from behind desks instead I getting up and showing me options. They were more concerned with getting my insurance and $$ than they were helping me make the right selection. I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

I was reluctant to start CPAP therapy, but Jimmy and all the folks at Neighborhood CPAP have made it a great experience. They went out of their way to find the best mask for me, and BELIEVE ME, that has made *such* a difference in my comfort level! They are enthusiastic about CPAP, their products, and their business model -- and for good reason. I'll echo Jason's sentiment: their customer service is second to none. They have a HUGE selection of masks. Their payment options are extremely helpful and generous. I am so glad I found them. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea earlier this year. The customer service at Neighborhood CPAP is so impressive. I called on a Sunday afternoon hoping to get a recorder to find out their hours for the following Monday. To my surprise the owner answered on his cell phone and offered to open the store just for me. He spent a few hours with me explaining everything and even threw in a couple of freebies to make my mask as comfortable as possible. They have incredible customer service. I would highly recommend giving them a chance to earn your business. read more

My doctor's office faxed my prescription from my sleep study to Neighborhood CPAP. When I arrived at the store, Joey assisted me with getting fit for a mask. He thoroughly explained everything to me. I was treated with respect from start to finish! I didn't feel rushed to choose the mask or machine that I wanted. I had to return my mask several times before I found the exact fit that worked for me. The atmosphere was very professional. I will recommend Neighborhood CPAP to friends and family. read more

My experience here was very good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Linda West helped me find the right machine, mask. She spent a lot of time with me making sure I understood all the I needed to know about the CPAP machine and mask. She also, made me feel comfortable about calling or coming back if I need help. The first couple of times I visited this place was much more pleasant than my most recent visit. This time when I walked in I wasn't even greeted (barely acknowledged). A guy finally came over to offer assistance & once I told him what I needed he pointed to the lady I needed to speak with. Well, she glanced over at me and said, with attitude and dismay, "it's gonna be a while". UNVBELIEVABLE!!! Granted, she was speaking with another customer when I walked in (which I didn't mind as I wasn't in a rush) but a little niceness on the job is so much better for business in my opinion. The way I was treated during my first couple of visits is the only reason I won't rate this place with one star. read more

My Dr called in my prescription 9 days ago with a request to expedite due to heart failure. Neighborhood called the next day and said they had to order my equipment and it would be in early the following week. I called the store on Tuesday afternoon to find out why I hadn't heard from them. I was told for the second time they would have to order my equipment and it would be in before the end of the week. I told her it was supposed to be ordered the week before. She said it was. ??? I go by Friday on my way home from work to see if it is there and maybe they just forgot to tell me. Eventually Alexis is told to help me. I then explain why I'm there. She acts like she has no idea what I'm talking about. She looks in the back and tells me they don't have that model and will have to order it. I ask her if I need to get my Dr to call my prescription in elsewhere. She says "sure you can have it called in anywhere". Durp ok I'll do that. Massive fail. My wife is an RN and I work in the medical field. I know where we will never recommend! Thanks. read more

What can I say... The costumer service is above and beyond the standard. The owner and his team are very passionate about their business. You will never feel rushed. I was in need of a new mask and thought I needed to live my office early to get to their shop across town. The owner assured me that that was not necessary and they would wait on me to get there. He spent an hour or so making sure all my question were answered and my mask fit comfortably and securely. I highly recommend that you give the Neighborhood CPAP Store on Pelham Parkway a chance to earn your business. Except no substitute! read more

These folks are the best. I put CPAP off for over a year after my sleep study because I didn't want to sleep with a machine. Finally my heart gave me no choice and when I went back to my sleep clinic they treated me very disrespectfully because I didn't do what they wanted me to when they wanted to. Thank goodness I found Neighborhood CPAP. These people treated me with dignity and really cared about making me as comfortable as possible with CPAP. After trying several masks and chinstraps I found a combination I could sleep with comfortably. Now I can't imagine sleeping without CPAP. All it took was a hard working professional vendor that put customize satisfaction over fast sales. This company is the best. read more

I began using Neighborhood CPAP 2 years ago. I have used CPAP for over 10 years and was looking to purchase replacement equipment. I phoned other competitors around the city and explained my needs and insurance coverage. I was told about their requirements and payments even that I would need to rent the equipment. I knew these were not required by my insurance. After calling neighborhood CPAP I quickly discovered that the person I was talking to was going to take care of my needs. He took my insurance information and asked that I have my prescription with me or faxed to them should I decide to make my purchase there. They checked on my insurance coverage and called me back with the details. I didn't have to make an appointment and they are even open on Saturdays so I didn't have to miss work. I told them I would come on Saturday to see what they had. When I arrived I was expected and they explained the various equipment and my obligations. These guys use CPAP equipment and know exactly what they are talking about not just what the sales reps tell them! It was so nice to actually be able to talk with someone that actually uses and understands the issues with CPAP. If you want personalized service in a relaxed atmosphere from a group of friendly caring people that will work with you to gain your business this is the place to go! Great service each and every visit that I have been there! Thanks for all you guys do! Doug read more

I have only been using Neighborhood CPAP for a few months but I have had a very positive experience with them. When I was looking for a new unit for my sleep apnea, they really took their time and helped me pick the unit that would be best for me. I also really appreciated how they helped me when I was having problems with my mask. They always knew what to do and was able to fix the problem. I would recommend Neighborhood CPAP to anyone who is looking for CPAP supplies. read more
