My 30 min consultation with Katherine was really helpful! I learned formatting tips and ways to beef up my resume by adding a header, summary, and core competencies and creating sectional dividers. She recommended outcome-based bullet points that highlight the benefits and quantify the results rather than a laundry list of tasks. Katherine was friendly and thorough and even had enough time to quickly proofread my hubby's resume. It was really nice to get an extra set of eyes! While the $299 starter package seems a bit pricey, it's a good deal considering that you are equipped with the A team of an interviewer, drafter, and editor. They will rewrite your resume and can fine tune and belt out those bullet points. While my resume could use a few tweaks, the starter package is a great option if you're looking for a resume overhaul without doing all the guess work. I have interviewed in the past with very young Recruiters, have a bad feeling about them...giggly, unprofessional, silly, un-professional, and have no idea about what it is like to be a consummate professional in the USA, anymore. The most recent Recruiter I spoke with in Ashburn, VA. was a constant giggler! Sooooooo... Annoying. She was NOT working at Woodbridge, per se. but that is the type of Recruiter that I have been running into, all throughout the Virginia area. I am hoping for a much better experience with Woodbridge? I also needed a lot of help documenting my recently acquired skills and accomplishments over the last five or so years, and Lisa spent over an hour with me on the phone during our initial call, talking through my professional background and helping me determine what skills to highlight in my new resume. She sent me a follow up email accusing me of sending her what she sent me. I told her it was different and I just emboldened the letters. She did not believe me and asked me to send her an updated resume. She finally looked at the questionnaire again and told me that I filled it out. She did not apologize or admit wrong doing. She finally completed the resume. It was a page and a half, even after she told me beginner resumes should be three pages. Two weeks later my dad called her, she was rude to him, claimed she finished with me two weeks ago, even though she did not recall our interaction. She explained she did not have much to work with and that's why it was a page and a half. This is complete bunk, my past career coach made me a resume that was three pages long and much better. Thankfully my parents covered the 350 for the resume because this was a complete rip off. Horrible customer service, horrible resume. She conned my parents and I, she should of had more integrity and said she could not help me. Instead she conned my family out of 350 dollars. I will never work with her again. And all I can say to anyone considering her services is stay away. The resume she could make is not worth the headache of dealing with her bad attitude.
