The spicy corvina ceviche with avocado and corn was most delicious and a great appetizer. The beer on tap was Carlsberg and that is always good so bonus points there. And I followed up with the main course of 4 cheese pizza with sage and walnuts. This was tasty and more than enough for one person. Spanish Italian Japanese cuisine. No, it's not fusion, but more of a mix of the different foods are all on the menu. A bit confusing.. Japanese: Poke Bowl - Rice topped with fish sashimi, seaweed salad, cucumbers, bean sprouts, radish, fresh red beets, and avocado. Decent.. Chicken Teriyaki - the glaze was a bit sweet and could have used more flavor. The cutlets were bite size and also served with tad dry white rice, bean sprouts, and string beans. Disappointing dish. Sushi/Sashimi Combination - Tuna and Salmon sashimi and maki rolls, with a couple other items.. Average.. Italian: Pizza with marinara, cheese, and ham - Surprising good, super thin, and full of flavor. I'm guessing any pizza will be good! Baked rigatoni with truffle oil - Creamy and flavorful. A comforting dish! Seafood: Grilled seabass with steamed veggies - filet could have been seared a bit longer as it was quite thick. Average at best Dessert: Flan - smokey, sweet, and creamy. Delicious! Ice cream - Table favorite This is definitely a popular place to dine. The restaurant is spacious and very trendy and there wasn't an empty seat during dinner. Great to watch the staff prepare your tapas in the middle of the action. Have a glass of Cava and watch. Tapas are decent portions. Sea bass tempura was so good. Had the monk fish. It was a little salty but very good with potato, artichoke and ham. My colleague had the Bonita tartar, Japanese BBQ. That was a pretty big portion. Service was pretty good, surprisingly, we barely got in at 8:30p before the crowd. Probably go for a reservation during he holiday months. read more

Two different restaurants in one. I've heard wonderful things for Negro, but was invited to Rojo (Japanese) and was totally unimpressed.

You ever order the wrong thing at a restaurant? Well, that's what I did. I had the fish, I think monk fish, with mixed vegetables-steamed. Not the right thing. Don't get me wrong, it was good but looking at other plates, we should've ordered tapas. My lady had the pulled pork tacos. This ain't Mexico so forget what you're used to. She wasn't crazy about it. They also have a gluten free menu. No a whole lot on it but they have one. But the service is excellent, the ambience and decor are very nice. I'd go there next time I'm in Barcelona but I'll stick with tapas and have a lot more wine. read more

Arrived at 21.30 with the purpose to do take away. No one attended us wen though we stood at the cashier desk for a few min, so we asked for an English menu. They have it for food but not for drinks. Ordered 2 noodles, gyoza, edamame and 2 ice creams. No one asked us to wait while sewing or sat how long will it take. There were about 15 empty seats at the place so we sat ourselves. After about 30 min we were asked to move because the waitress decided to seat someone at our place, even though there were more places free, and left. We asked another waitress how much longer will it take, she said about 15 min. We asked where can we sit, she said upstairs. We went up and dove in the softest sofa and waited. Then the waitress came to tell us it's ready, we went down and paid. I noticed there were no chopsticks so I asked for those. Then we arrived back to see a noodle dish is missing. I called them, and after being transferred between 3 people - this is 22:30 and I'm starving - I've been told o can come back to take the dish. I said it's far and I'm tired and hungry, and maybe the can deliver? No delivery services for them. I asked to get he money back to the card - but they said they can't do it without my presence. And so, after 1h of inconsiderate waiting (no estimation of time, no suggestion to sit) we got a partial order, with nothing to do about it. read more

Great tapas restaurant combining Italian, Spanish and Japanese dishes. Great to go with a group of friends. Would definitely recommend the white truffle pasta dish and the pizza. The atmosphere was great, and as 20-somethings we loved negro rojo while studying abroad in Barcelona! read more

Dinner with friends, regular customers so we were treated supercool but I'm not sure this is the standard. We shared some plates and then we had a main course each. Not bad the bravas, Negative the grilled squid with Romesco sauce, Poor the cochinita and good the tuna with ponzu. Negative the dessert. Not bad the quality of the wine list but poor choices. High bill but in line with the level of the restaurant. You can go but you can spend better your money elsewhere in Barcelona. read more

This is actually not only a Japanese/asian restaurant but also a more international catalan-style food restaurant. We were with a group and did chose to eat goat. This was excellent! The atmosphere is relaxing and this is a nice place to have a discussion. Wines we chosen were average. read more
