For anyone who's ever been to Austin, Texas and is craving a burger joint that's got a very Austin-feel -- this is the place to be. Not only do they serve a regular All-American burger with all the staples, but they also have a bunch of very interesting burgers crafted with different ingredients. Super close to the Barceloneta metro station, courteous staff, and good food at reasonable prices. Grab any of the burgers, and it'll do the trick. Throw on a side of potato wedges and onion rings -- which, by the way, are probably the finest I've ever had -- and you're gonna have one helluva meal.
On the other hand, they also serve tapas and steaks. My girlfriend and I didn't have any tapas, but we did get a steak too. During my time in Europe, I've been massively underwhelmed by the quality of the steak. Doesn't matter where it was from. Small cafes, larger restaurants, all the steaks have been made with meat of...mm... less than superior quality, to say the very least. But this one... man, this one. Our steak was cooked to a perfect medium and extremely tender. To top it off, they add a special sauce that was really balanced out the dish. Garnish aside, the meat was spectacular. If you don't get a burger, get a steak.
All in all, as an American dying for a good burger at a price that wasn't going to break my bank -- God bless you, Negro Carbon. read more
