Yes having Dolores Park as your school yard and the place to spend your lunch period and some after school activities was happening all four seasons of the year not just on April 15 or 4/15 now also known as 415 day. The corporations and other entities start capitalizing on some underground fun. Now it's celebrated throughout San Francisco with people wearing items and gear which has something San Francisco on it. How I still celebrate it is going to a park in San Francisco with a favorite adult beverage currently it's a bottle of Pinot Noir for Don Juan Pinot Noir. Whether Dolores Park or Golden Park you can represent all four seasons in San Francisco by visiting that Park Life. On an April stroll in San Francisco finding where to park on Clement street can sometimes be a challenge in San Francisco. You can see people camping out for parking spots on Clement street ( like at Costco in SF). Park Life is a store on Clement street between 3rd and 4th Avenue which has items with themes of San Francisco. You will find art and stationaries. You will also see bags ,clothing, and hats with San Francisco on it that don't look like you picked it up at a souvenir shop at the Tourist trap in SF. You will also find some interesting books inside. There is a small art gallery in the back of the store . This is a good place to get a treat for yourself or grab a gift for others and have fun at a local San Francisco park . Whether it's Golden Gate Park, Duboce Park, McLaren Park, Mount Davison Park, Sue Bierman Park, Lafayette Park, Precita Park, Bernal Heights Park, Alamo Square Park, Washington Square Park, Dolores Park, Franklin Square Park, Presidio Tunnel Tops Park or Glen Park , etc. This place in San Francisco is all about that Park Life. The plastics that he was less familiar with he had a great print out of information to help out. They even had a handy bag of samples they sent me home with. Service was fast and casual, the store isn't full of slick displays but has a more utilitarian lay out... but really when you're looking for clay and reisin there's no need to have a store-room designed for anything else. It was fast to get in and out, there is 2 hour street parking available but you have to be careful if you park on the far side of the street from the store... there aren't really any near-by cross walks so you'll need to take your chances running across the road (eep).

Drove over to fabrix on a Monday and it happened to be the Clement street fair at the exact same time, luckily I found parking really quickly and proceeded to go inside to find my felt and embroidery supplies for the felt ornaments I'd been wanting to make for Christmas this year. I had NO clue what I was looking for and I'm so grateful to the staff for helping me find everything and being patient with me throughout the whole process. It was quiet in the shop at first but quickly became busy, but I honestly didn't mind waiting in line for my turn because the staff gave the same amount of time to me as they did to everyone in front of me in line. I was kind of surprised at how inexpensive the whole purchase was, after she showed me my total, because I hadn't checked the prices of anything. Unfortunately, I was not told they do not accept cards anymore and walked out empty handed. Not only that, the prices listed on my items did not match what she had "calculated" at the register. Last time I checked, $1.75 plus $1.00 doesn't equal $4.05, especially with their pricing policy. I was told "I usually tell customers who come in that we do not take credit cards but since you were only buying a few things, I assumed you were paying cash." Huh? If your machine has been down for months, why not just remove the card reader? Either way, it would've been nice for her to tell me. Instead, I wasted 30 minutes shopping for items only to have to leave everything behind. If you plan on shopping here, bring cash and make sure you're being charged the correct price.
