Closet and Garage Remedy

I don't hand out glowing reviews lightly--but this company earned every word…read more From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We had nine closets to design, which could have easily become overwhelming, but Parker made the entire process feel organized, thoughtful, and even enjoyable. He didn't just "sell a system"--he took the time to truly understand how I live and what I needed each space to do. We met in person, had multiple detailed phone conversations, and what really stood out was that he came back a second time just to refine and perfect every detail. That level of commitment is rare. He was patient, meticulous, and genuinely invested in getting everything exactly right. Then came installation--and it exceeded expectations. The craftsmanship was flawless, the team was professional, and every single closet turned out beautifully. Everything feels intentional, functional, and elevated. Bottom line: this is what top-tier service looks like. If you're even considering a closet organization project, stop looking and go with them. I highly, highly recommend this company--and Parker in particular.

Master closet: This was more challenging just because it was hard to know what I wanted.. but they had on site 3d rendering and asked thoughtful q's, to which they would then make recos. I think we spent 1-2 hrs just going over the design and they were very patient throughout. The installation went without a hitch - pics attached! Pricing is also very reasonable.

What sets them apart is their ability to create systems that aren't just aesthetically pleasing, but truly functional and sustainable. They didn't just move things around; they listened to how our family actually uses the space and designed a customized flow that works for our daily life. Why they deserve 5 stars: * Professionalism: They arrived on time, stayed focused, and managed the entire process with incredible efficiency. * Attention to Detail: Every drawer, shelf, and container was labeled and organized with precision. * Judgment-Free Approach: They made the decluttering process feel empowering rather than stressful. If you are looking to reclaim your space and your peace of mind, do not hesitate to hire them. It is worth every penny!

Charged Nearly $2,000 Over Quote -- Breach of Contract, Legal Action Pending…read more We were quoted $4,459 for our project, which we accepted despite our budget being lower. We even cleared the entire space beforehand to help expedite their process and reduce costs. However, we were shocked to be charged over $6,400--nearly $2,000 more than agreed. We understand it's not always going to 100% reflect the quote, but there was no prior notice or written approval of extra charges. When we questioned the overage, they claimed they gave us "their most generous discount to date," which was misleading and unacceptable. We disputed the charge with American Express, but were told the final bill they gave us after the work counted as "written notice," despite no prior communication about the increase. This is unfair and contradicts their own contract terms. After consulting with an attorney, we were advised the company is in breach of contract. If they do not refund the overage and honor the original quote, we are fully prepared to take legal action. This review is a final effort to resolve the matter before going to court. Future clients, proceed with caution--get everything in writing.

Clutter Nanny - Garage after

It's never too late to organize your garage AND your life! Thanks to Ariane, "The Clutter Nanny,"…read moreand Shannon, my garage and my life is now functioning at a MUCH better capacity! After years and years of hanging on to "things" I never used, sold or donated and thus making our garage a messy, unsightly and unusable place, I changed my mindset, thanks to Ariane and Shannon and couldn't be happier AND healthier. It feels much better to live in the present than to hang on to things from my past. These are things I decided someone else could much better use and enjoy, and the adage, if you haven't used it in a year, you don't "need" it, is so true. Ariane and Shannon helped me and my husband to sort, donate, toss or keep so many things we had saved for 20 or more years. They also offer to take items to donate as well. I learned about my city's (Fullerton) numerous opportunities for large item pick ups and extra trash pick ups (for an added fee) in the process. I became a familiar face at our local disposal place, which I (don't laugh) was kinda nervous about going to before, and that's why so many things didn't get "dumped." Our garage now has useable totes and shelves and designated spaces for items we truly need and use for our home and life. Big pluses for "The Clutter Nanny" are that both Ariane and Shannon are punctual, hard working, organized, great communicators and schedulers, conscientious, creative, and fantastic problem solvers. Now, and for our future, we have our two-car garage back and I look FORWARD to doing my laundry, storing and easily getting outdoor accessories and decor, easily finding camping items and tools to use indoors and outdoors. All our garage clutter is gone, and with this mindset, which Ariane and Shannon fostered in me, which feels and IS healthy, I am positive, I will not go back to clutter again. I even went to an estate sale two weeks after our de-cluttering, and didn't buy a thing; I just enjoyed myself. Thank you, Ariane and Shannon!

I'm seven months pregnant with our second baby, and our kitchen, pantry, and utility closet had become completely overwhelming. My husband and I did not have the time or energy to redo everything before the baby arrived. I especially needed help making our space work better for a toddler while preparing for newborn life again. They stepped in, understood exactly what we needed, and created practical solutions that made our home feel calm and manageable. At the end of the day it was something that needed to be done; something we were never going to do half as well as they did; and something that would lead to headaches and fights. We're so glad it was Ariane and Shannon doing it, not us. It was worth every penny. If you are thinking about booking them, plan ahead because their calendar fills up quickly.

There aren't enough amazing words to say about Liz and her team. We moved in to a new house and I…read morewas confident that I had purged our pantry and our garage before the move, although they needed to be organized. First, the pantry. Liz came in with Lisa and organized my pantry and kitchen. Not only did they help me sort through and discard FOUR bags of unnecessary items, but they left my pantry and kitchen so clean and organized that I thought I wanted to sleep in there! A few weeks later, we had them come and organize our garage. Our garage was the catch-all space for all things move-related, on top of our usual stuff. Every time I went in there, I got anxiety looking at all the stuff that needed to be unpacked and organized. Additionally, my husband's biggest goals were to (1) get his brand new tool chests organized and (2) simply be able to park his car in there. At the end of the very long and hot day of organizing, Liz and her team were able to organize EVERYTHING in our garage. They even sorted through all my husband's hardware (nails, nuts, bolts) and organized them into containers within his tool chest. Could I have organized my garage myself? I mean, yeah, probably. But here's how it usually goes: the two of us (my husband and I) would be able to do one section, not be able to go through *every item* and ask ourselves if we truly use it or not, NOT be able to really remove ourselves enough to categorize them properly, then we realize we need more bins, so we have to go out and get some more. We either procrastinate until tomorrow... or the next weekend... or the following month... Liz and her team already have ALL the necessary organizational items with them. They know the process because they've done this a thousand times! It is NOT possible to get this done without this team. The best part about having everything organized in clear bins is knowing exactly what we have and where we have it. It sounds dramatic, but I think it's accurate to say that having everything organized is life-changing. No longer will we have to second guess what we have or where to find it, only to purchase a duplicate (or gulp, a triplicate) of it, but we can access it easily... and most importantly, we can keep up with the organization. I think that organization MUST be sustainable in order for it to work. Even now, months later, my daughter and several friends know where to get snacks in the pantry or items in the garage, and they know that they can put it all back easily if needed. I cannot recommend Coastal Organizing Company more. Just absolutely fantastic!

AMAZING!!!! Simply an amazing company and crew!…read more Liz (the owner) and her team (Elissa, Leslie & Jordan) that worked on my friend's place are great!! They took his apt. - that was filled with over 250 moving boxes - and made it a completely organized and simply wonderful. Helped my friend purge A LOT of unnecessary and duplicate/triplicate items. In turn, those items were donated to a great non-profit called Mercy House. It was a win-win for everyone. Elissa, Leslie and Jordan were so patient and understanding and helped create an organizational system that is easy to follow/maintain. Moving is hard enough without the stress of having to get rid of years of stuff and personal items. One day, I looked around and had enough! I started to research home organizers and read tons of reviews for different companies. I reached out to a couple but a call with Jenn sealed the deal. Jenn listened carefully to our needs, got an idea of what we needed, and walked me through her process. I really appreciated that she intended to come prepared with all of the organization tools she'd need, requesting measurements of my cabinets/storage spaces well in advance so she can shop for the perfect bins, etc for our spaces. She also gave me a quote and time estimate that was extremely reasonable. We decided on two days beforehand and in anticipation of all of the *stuff* we'd be clearing out, Jenn also organized a donation pickup that would come straight to our door! On the first day, Jenn arrived with her car full of storage bins. We walked her through the kitchen, showing her what items were used most frequently, how we cook, etc. Jenn was super thoughtful in the questions she'd ask to maximize the utility of our kitchen space. Throughout the day, Jenn would check in to ask about items to be thrown away, how often we use certain ingredients, etc. The end result was a beautifully organized kitchen space that was *functional*. Bonus - we could see our kitchen counters again!! The way she organized everything just made sense - she truly has a gift for this. I also wanted to note that I was working from home while Jenn was organizing in the kitchen and she was so respectful of our time and patient while I was held up on work calls. The second day went just as smoothly. We had a storage cabinet that was just an explosion of random items we couldn't find proper places for, and Jenn somehow found a way to find make sense of the mess! Can't thank Jenn enough for the magic she worked! We will definitely be calling her again to help with our closet spaces. Thank you, Jenn!

Best money spent hiring Jenn!…read more Not only is she local, but she is full service and that's what I was looking for: shops for the proper containers that fits perfectly, and sets up donation drop off in addition to decluttering, reorganizing, and labeling. She is on time, comes prepared and listens (and remembers) my needs. Her solutions go above and beyond what I could do myself. The true value is the condition in which my space is in when she leaves my home each time: I don't feel weighed down by the clutter and everything has a home. I thought it would be a luxury to afford this service but I can't imagine having to do everything she did all alone with a 9 month old baby at home with me. I'm eternally grateful for her expertise, patience and compassion through the process!
