    I would not recommend Mike at Neal's Speaker service. I checked around town about his service, and the word was that he took over the business from Neal (a relative), who ran the business for years (excellent rating), but everyone said they were suspicious about him. Well, I found out why. He is very difficult to deal with. Still, I needed a speaker repair and he's one of the few that do it. He quoted me $95 for the job and we agreed. When I picked up the speaker, he seemed in a bad mood and claimed I only paid him the $95. Later I got these threatening emails from him because he claimed I only paid him half of what was owed. I asked, "Why did you accept the $95 in person and not say anything?" These are actual quotes from Mike himself sent to me via email. Mike Taylor - nealspeakers@yahoo.com Fri, Aug 30, 2:28PM to me Sending you to collections... Hope screwing me is worth a hit to your credit" Hey cocksucker, hope you're happy with robbing me. Your days are about to get a whole lot worse... Hope it was worth ripping off a small businessman. See you in hell You're an absolute piece of shit. I added collection fees and late fees to your collection. This just got expensive... See you in court This 100% Mike Taylor folks, unplugged. I do not recommend this service.

    Amazing! My speakers needed serious help. Price was fair and he turned them around super fast. Highly recommend this man's work.

    Took two Mark Levinson auto speakers to Neils and Mike did a great job fixing them for a very reasonable price...they sound incredible now!

    Mike did an outstanding job repairing my Speaker Labs DAS7 speakers. The service was fast, reasonably priced, and they sound like brand new.

    Poor customer service. I took an instrument to them to be repaired, called them 6 weeks later and…read morethey did not know where my instrument was. Megan said they would call me back. I called them back later that day and the next day, the manager did not bother to get on the phone with me but was relaying messages to Megan on the phone. They assured me they would be calling me back. The next day. I received a text message letting me know it would be six more weeks and the manager would update me. I had yet to talk to a manager or receive an apology. I texted back that it was unacceptable since they already had it 6 weeks and they lost it. They said they would try to get it done as soon as possible. Two weeks later I was informed the manager would be picking up the instrument and would contact me. A week later Gabe contacted me and was very apologetic for the situation. This was the first apology that I had received. Gabe is the reason this review got one star. He went above and beyond to apologize, communicate and called me more than once. I did get the instrument back. However, when I went to go pick it up, Megan acted like she did not want to help me or recognize that I was in the store. I paid over $300 to have the instrument fixed and my daughter informed me not all the pads were replaced. Very disappointed in this music store and the customer service received. I will be using a different music store in the future
