My daughter's a junior in high school, class of 2009, which is slated to be the biggest graduating high school class in the history of America.
Holy crap!
These kids, it's like Japan in the 80s! They're all working their high school butts off every waking minute, stressing out, meeting with tutors, taking classes that some of us didn't take until college, some of us NEVER took, and they have no social life because it is that freakin' competitive nowadays.
My daughter's taking calculus, and we can't help her. To be honest, she lost me sometime after the eighth grade, because I suck at math and after I made the last math requirement back in the Neolithic era, which was geometry, I was gone, baby, gone.
Thank God for guys like Neal Li, who tutor math. I'm yelping Neal Li because he is: affordable, very nice, an excellent tutor who can make unimaginable concepts make sense, incredibly dedicated and reliable, considerate, polite, and conscientious.
He tutors math at all levels, from addition and subtraction, up to and beyond AP BC Calculus (I don't even know what that means).
Got a kid freaking out about math? Are you freaking out about math? Call Neal. He rules. read more
