I have never been spoken to quite so rudely as at the Akron sale today. I was without cash to cover…read moremy purchase but had check, the checkout assistant rudely barked "And?" and proceeded to suggest I continue shopping or go to my bank (the sign stated minimum charge $25 for credit/debit cards but didn't specify that for personal checks). She called over another woman who said absolutely not could I charge the payment (I said nothing about wanting to charge, I wanted to pay by check) because she is charged 3.5%. I would have been willing to have her add that charge into my payment, however the rudeness and distinct lack of interest in my purchasing items left me with no option but to leave without. I personally am charged 2% when making sales using a debit/credit card and I would never dream of telling a customer this - the customer doesn't care what you are charged, if you are in the business to make money, and want repeat business, you work out a way to do that. How dare you speak to me with such an belligerent tone. Incredibly rude. You can rest assured I will never shop at one of your sales and I would recommend future sale attendees and potential customers of your services to reconsider if you want a good experience.
