Brahler's Cleaning & Restoration

They where priced right for what I needed. They gave me options on their services to suit my needs…read morefor mold remediation. They where on time and professional. Showed me pictures of the work done. Before and after. Very pleased with their work.

Once called, techs arrived within a few hours, pulled carpeting away from walls and placed fans to dry the areas. Speedy, follow up to check progress as promised and the fans were removed when the floor and carpeting were dry. I received a call from Brahler's a week or two ago, reminding me of their work described above and saying they are available for carpet cleaning as well as restoration. I'd been thinking of having carpet and upholstered furniture cleaned, and their call was the incentive to do it now. If I could rate the company above a 5-star, I would. Before the appointment, lamps, end tables, coffee table, and other items that could be taken from the carpeted rooms were removed. The two-person crew called when they left their prior appointment and arrived at my condo at the appointed time. I reviewed with the lead tech what I wanted, answered a few questions to confirm all tasks, and specifically pointed out two *old* stains that previous cleaning companies had failed to remove. Then I got out of the way. Three and a half hours later, they were done. The lead tech said the upholstery would dry quickly, but the carpeting could take 12 to 24 hours. This morning, 16 hours later, I found the upholstery and carpeting dry. Those two stains I pointed out are gone! The furniture and carpeting are 12 years old and it all looks new, refreshed. I am over the moon happy with the results and the professional handling of my carpet and upholstery cleaning from placing the order to waving good-bye to the techs as they pulled out of the driveway! Note that charges are based on square footage to be cleaned. If you have those figures available, the person making the appointment may be able to give you an estimate of the cost. Other companies may be able to do it for less, but, in my opinion, they won't be able to do it better.

Do not hire White glove! The owner has had our insurance check for over nine months now. We call…read morehim, he makes a promise to start, but leaves us hanging. Still no work. His last promise was the Monday after 4th of July weekend. You can imagine our disappointment as we looked out onto our empty driveway where a dumpster was supposed to be. He did not call us to say where he was, we had to call him. At this point, we really just want the insurance check back. This company has extremely poor communication, and does not follow through with commitments. All the contents of our attic are destroyed now from water damage. White Gloves did not even bother to come out and put a tarp on the roof.

My mother and I sat in the kitchen of our neighbors' home and listened to John Ernst tell us of how quick and precise his workers were; what a wonderful job he would do. We even wrote down every detail of what he said, and how long, the job would take. Without going into every single, horrible detail, we will report that he did not keep his word AT ALL. A job that he told us (and we wrote down) would take 3 weeks took 3 1/2 months. Beware if you are a single, or widowed woman with no experience in hiring a company for this type of work. I finally decided to do a little investigation and found that this company has a rating of "F" on the Better Business Bureau! Please read what the BBB has written on their website. When we found this out, I called the bank and the BBB to report Mr. Ernst. We were given instructions and told not to give the final payment until instructed to do so by the bank. Mr. Ernst became furious and sent threatening texts, phone calls, and emails (of which I have all copies). "Veronica" from the "Legacy Accounting Dept representing his company" literally tried to trick us into calling her. Instead, we responded via text. She claimed to be trying to collect the last check and would "forward the information to Atty Tom Haskins in Akron to file a Lien on your property if payment is not made this week". Mr. Ernst must have forgotten that he had a conversation with my mom about his girlfriend, Veronica, who worked at Legacy AUTO and would be more than happy to sell her a car! My mother even wrote down her name, Legacy Auto's name, and phone number! Coincidence? You decide. I still have voice mail messages, texts, and emails. When the job was finally completed, we were instructed by the bank, to meet him at the bank, to complete the transaction. Mr. Ernst came crawling in with his tail between his legs and didn't say a word! Does the final product look nice? Yes. His CREW did a decent job. Was it worth it? Absolutely NOT! The worst business and business owner we have ever dealt with. Buyer beware. W
