Both my daughter and I have been students at NDM Dance Studios for the past four years and absolutely recommend the school for anyone interested in learning Bollywood dance. All the teachers at NDM Dance Studios are all amazing and bring out the very best in every student. We are so glad that they have continued offering classes/workshops through their virtual platform during this pandemic. It's been very uplifting to be able to continue learning. Nakul Dev Mahajan has also been teaching his fun, high energy virtual Bollywood cardio class twice a week which has been a great way for me to stay active and burn tons of calories from home. The entire staff/team at the school is also very loving and it's a very "family" type of atmosphere. I love that they stand for more than just dance. Your child will learn respect, values, and have a great team of mentors around them. My daughter's confidence in herself has definitely increased so much since she started and her teacher has become a role model for her. We are so glad we joined the NDM family and only wish we had enrolled even earlier!!! read more

As someone who has been in and out of enrollment at multiple other Bollywood dance studios for the past 10 years like RRB and Amna, NDM is by far the best out of all of them. If you are genuinely looking to improve your dance skills, become more precise, and better express yourself on stage, based on what I have seen, NDM is the most effective at achieving this. I want to emphasize that I would say that I improved as much in one month at NDM as I did in three months at other schools. I hate the tuition as well, but despite that, I would say that NDM is worth the investment due to the quality of education and experience. read more

My 5 year old daughter and I joined NDM this year and we took part in the Shaadi recital less than a week ago. What an experience it was! I was lucky to watch a lot of the show, and I was dancing in my seat and in my heart the entire time. From the song selection that ranged from golden era to now, to the sharp and elegant choreography from every number... and even the dazzling costumes and colors representing SHAADI all across India, I was just blown away and feeling so much pride to be part of this Bollywood dance show. My dance teacher is Mr. Nakul himself, and to say this man is passionate is an understatement. He has dedicated his life to Bollywood dance. I appreciate his style, approach, and commitment to every student as a teacher. He is strict, precise, and his choreography is authentic to Bollywood. He ensures that the whole team meets his vision for the steps he's teaching - and that extreme attention to detail is what I believe sets him and his team apart. I enjoy dance class so much because of Mr. Nakul's energy and the team spirit he helped create in the class. Though I've danced and performed most of my life, this is the first time I'm learning dance professionally through a school. Let me say... I've learned so much as a dancer in the last 9 weeks, and I am very excited to keep learning from the very best! My daughter was in Ms. Ambika's class and my whole family cried happy tears watching her up there doing her performance with such confidence! She was lip-singing, showing Bollywood-esque sassy expressions, and doing those strong, not subtle, tumkas! All I can think is she's only 5 right now... and she's already a star! We owe this to her teacher and NDM studios for (1) creating an environment where the youngest of the batch feel safe, prepared, and are having so much fun to be themselves, (2) setting the bar high so the kids can prove all they got, and (3) for putting on such fantastic productions for our kids to take part in and get inspiration from. Mr. Nakul - I respect you. You have opened up a whole world for me and my soul. Thank you for bringing Bollywood to the USA many years ago with SYTYCD - I'm so very proud to be part of your studio. It is really an honor and a privilege. read more

Although they are pretty good at teaching the kids Bollywood dance, which is so important to maintaining the cultural tie and connection to the motherland, I can't stand Nakul and his mother who run this place. They are very arrogant and rude. If the choices weren't no limited and if my daughter didn't love Bollywood so much I would have yanked her out of this place. read more

Ok the so called naqul send me an apology email which really to late ti beg me for my business. Your sad.

NDM Dance is where my daughter learns Bollywood dance. She has been going to the Irvine center for the last 7 years. She and all her friends look forward to the classes and the performances. She participates in the annual performance and the Ek Do Teen performance. We as parents love the high quality show they put up. Love the way Nakul conducts the show - very punctual and interspersed lots of humor. It is a treat to watch the troupe and also Nakul himself dance. I would highly recommend NDM for anybody in Southern California that wants their children to connect with Indian movies, Indian dance forms and also the music and language. I would go so far as to say that Nakul has done us all a great service by running NDM. read more

I truly recommend NDM Bollywood Dance Productions as I have had a great experience dancing and learning from the best of teachers. It has indeed been a blessing to continue to learn virtually during these unprecedented times. The virtual platform offered by NDM Studios is excellent and offers an outlet for continuing to keep ourselves active. Joining NDM classes has been one of the best decisions I've made and encourage others who love dance and music to please join as well. read more

My daughter has been taking classes with NDM for almost four years now. We are amazed by how much she has grown as a dancer since then. At first, my daughter was hesitant about joining class because rhythm did not come naturally to her and she felt dance just might not be her thing. But with the patience and guidance of her instructor, Ms. Khushy, she has learned to love dance. This has built her confidence not only in dancing but in other areas as well. The owner of the studio, Mr. Nakul, has done an amazing job building a family type atmosphere for kids to learn in. We have made so many life long friends through NDM and we look forward to dancing there for many more years to come. read more

NDM Dance Production is a fun and lovely studio with the best instructors who are highly skilled in the field of Bollywood dance. Nakul and his team always encourages and motivates us. I highly recommend this studio as they are very professional and committed. The classes are really amazing and detailed.Even during these testing times they are making sure that we stay motivated and encouraged through their online classes. I have been with NDM for 6yrs and I am glad and feel blessed to be a part of the NDM family. Thank you Nakul , Khushy and all the members of NDM read more

I left several messages on their phone, left facebook messenger texts and emails to the owner and the instructors for more than a month for the dance classes. No answer, no response. After trying several times, once the mom of the owner answered the phone, she said she was just helping out and does not have any information about the classes. However she asked me to write an email and took my information to pass it on. That is it. Nobody called after that. I really wonder how businesses thrive in spite of so much irresponsiveness. Why maintain the office numbers when they don't have an intention of checking the messages. Seriously, i don't care how best their teaching is and how big they are, when they don't respect their customer, it means nothing. And it will eventually show in the business. It is just a matter of time. read more

What can I say, they can dance. So can family members except if you have your family or friends dance at your wedding, you won't have to worry about the rude attitude from a company that thinks they are all that now just because they got on 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Possibly the worse service I have ever seen. VERY RUDE, refuse to dance if guests are still eating (you have to tell the guests to stop so the dancers get all the attention). DO NOT expect a thank you or a smile, that is asking a lot. 'They can suck it' quoted from a member of the bridal party who missed half of the wedding to cater to their needs because they arrived late. Your better off getting some friends and having them do the dance for you. The dancers were not too bad, the management or I guess their contact person who comes with them was a total B****. read more

Great Dance Studio, but very rude staff, zero customer service. They don't care about customers, they are mean, cheap people. Avoid this if you can, find some other dance classes. They have a name and they are just living off of that without thinking about customers. read more

If any of you happened to watch the show 'So You Think You Can Dance?' -- Nakul Dev Mahajan and his talented team were featured as the first ever Bollywood dance numbers consecutively for a team performance, and a opening number. Words cannot express how amazing it is to see our Indian culture displayed so respectively in the media circuit. read more

Ladies dance class and Bollywood cardio here are awesome! It's rare to find a place where you can get a great workout, learn the art of Bollywood and to top it off with a choreographer who is the top in the industry! Grateful for to this place in our community and love letting all the stress and BS from the day out in his Bollywood cardio class mondays and Wednesday's! read more

I was very disappointed with NDM. The owner, Nakul, is very disrespectful to the parents. We went to another Bollywood dance studio where the directors are nice, pleasant, and talented. I do not recommend NDM. read more

My daughter has been coming here for years and has progressed and thrived under Nakul's tough but loving instruction.... he demands a lot but if you make the effort, you will improve-pure and simple....the proof is in the pudding-numerous first place finishes at major dance competitions among his many groups... my daughter has the moves and the confidence to do just about anything and she will continue here for at least 4-5 more years... Thank you NDM read more

I live in Hawaii and when I was visiting my brother in California, he suggested I try one of Nakul's Wednesday evening Ladies Cardio Class! This class was on a whole new level I have never experienced with the positive energy and movements. Nakul's blend of bollywood music was high energy and it matched his enthusiasm and his amazing passion for Bollywood and his culture. The moves were not complicated but they were fast which I loved. I left the cardio class breathless, sweaty, happy and wanting more! If you ever want to shake up your fitness routine, this is the class to go to. read more

NDM is an amazing Bollywood Dance Studio and is such a fun place! I have learned under Mr. Nakul for 9 years now and I couldn't be happier. I highly suggest NDM to anyone looking for a dance studio for their child. read more

These people are extremely arrogant, rude, and full of themselves. My eight year old daugther went to their dance class in Artesia for one quarter...never again. The teacher was nice and was ok with the girls, but the guy in charge of the studio, Nakul, was very arrogant to me, my cousin, and other parents in the class. He thinks he is the only person in Los Angeles who can teach our children our cultural dances. He's wrong. I learned that there are other teachers out there who are capable of this and more. read more

NDM studios is not only a learning institution for Bollywood dance, it is a place where students become culturally endowed with morals and values. Dancing at cardio classes gives me a boost of energy that lasts me the entire week! The annual recitals are well organized and mesmerizing, especially the costumes. I have been impressed time and again with the system being followed at this company. My recommendation for anyone who wishes to seek an experience of a lifetime would be to enroll yourself at NDM dance studios. read more

Today was my daughter's the first day of Fall Classes at NDM. She has had the privilege of being taught by some of the best Bollywood dancers I have ever seen. This will be her 10th year!! Both Nakul and Khushy have been amazing role models to my daughter. Thanks to the NDM family and students she has cultivated amazing friendships and has in the process picked up some amazing moves! read more

When I moved to California about 4 years ago I was looking for a Bollywood dance academy and my hunt ended with NDM !! 'Professional and fun' what more could one ask for. The staff is always very warm and the studio is well maintained. Nakul is a great teacher and brilliant choreographer! NDM annual recitals are a testament of the hard work and efforts by the NDM staff and their students.I highly recommend NDM to anyone looking to learn Bollywood dance in Southern California. read more

Saw the company perform at one of my friends weddings and was extremely impressed with the dancing. I immediately asked one of the dancers before they left if I could get a business card to which they promptly got one from their rep. I called in asking questions about their dance services and was clearly given all of the options and prices. From everything I've experienced they are a professional company with many many achievements and wonderful service. read more

I have been a student at NDM and it was truly a fun and fulfilling experience. Mr. Nakul is the Artistic director and CEO of the academy and was my teacher. I have taken several dance classes at other institutions, so I know when a teacher is really doing their job and when they are going above and beyond that. Mr. Nakul is loving and patient with all of his students, but he will be blunt with you and give constructive criticism when needed, which truly pushes students to their full potential. The classes are constructed so that students can get a taste of various classical and folk Indian dance forms as well as forms like Hip Hop and Jazz. Also, the annual show that takes place every spring and is a great experience to be a part of. The costumes designed by Ms. Khushy are breath taking ( and you get to keep them!) The lighting/stage setup is also very well done. If you want some REAL Bollywood dance training and to be a part of a spectacular performance, this is the place to go. read more

I grew up as a dancer and have taken many classes in the LA area in different styles of dance including Bollywood. I had to write a review after my experience with NDM. They are by far the most professional Bollywood dance school in Socal and also will produce the best dancers out of their school. If you are looking for your child to attend a dolly dinkle daycare service this is not the school for you. If you want your child to learn discipline, technique, performance ability, and build the confidence and skills it takes to become a dancer this is the school you want your kid in. Nakul's teachers are working from life long training in various styles of dance. Some of which work professionally in Hollywood entertainment and have the experience to train. Nakul himself has built a school from the ground up and continues to inspire. His resume speaks for itself. He expects the best out of his students and will not stand for laziness or unprepared students. You are paying for the best. Nakul's parents and family all work for the school and behind the desk. The school has by far the cleanest studio I've ever been to and the floor is really great to dance on. I had a great time taking the adult women's cardio class that Nakul teachers. The music was so much fun and I was dripping by the end of the hour but I had a great workout. I only wish it were closer to where I live in Los Angeles, but it is well worth the drive to get the quality you want. read more

What sets NDM apart from other Bollywood dance studios is the genuine love that Nakul and his entire staff have for the art of dance, the Indian culture and the students. Not having a background in dance myself, I was always intimidated being around seasoned dancers. However, everyone at NDM immediately makes you feel welcome and wanted. True teachers are the ones that teach their skill from the heart, with patience and a desire for their pupils to lean the skill. This is the level of quality and professionalism that accompanies the NDM brand. What impresses me about owner and lead Nakul Dev Mahajan is his passion and love for his skill, and his ability to interface and instruct anyone, from Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities to his young pupils with the same genuine enthusiasm, focus and kindness. If you want to learn Indian dance, get familiar with the culture, get a workout and be surrounded by a group of new friends, NDM dance studios is a class act above anyone else! read more
