ND Nails - I loved the nails:) price was good and good service too! - Nail Salons Near Me - Vernon, British Columbia

The nicest ladies work here. They have the most reasonable prices for nails. They have OPI nail polish, or they use what you bring in. They have a lot of colours to choose from. They do nice nail art. They do gels and fill in work. I had a lovely pedicure here and the ladies take time to really do a great job (removing dry heel skin.) I also got a calf muscle massage as I relaxed in the comfy massage chair (with my feet in a foot jacuzzi.) TVs to watch or lots of magazines. Prrrrr! My feet are happy again. read more

I went to get a pedi with a couple friends, the pedi it's self was good! Polish looked nice after, I got a nice leg massage, foot scrub was just right. The girl was maybe slightly rushing through it but not bad. The water was very hot in the foot tub but I got used to it after a min or two. Now my only problem is that I got a massive rash a day later from my knees down. It's horribly uncomfortable. But I do have to say I have sensitive skin and have to be careful about what creams I use, I haven't had a problem before getting a pedi. All I have to say for now.. Im going to go scratch my legs now.. read more

I have gone for pedi's and gel nails here since it opened. I moved away from the neighborhood to the farthest part of town and tried other places but I now travel across town to come here again because no one else measured up for workmanship or pricing . They are efficient and the best price in town. The nails last and always look beautiful. I struggle to understand what they say but that is most likely due to my hearing problem . They are lovely ladies and can be quite funny and charming when you make an effort to know them. read more

I recently made an appointment to have a pedicure. I arrived approximately 5 minutes late. I was very rudely treated, customer service was non existent. Customer service is not there I have recommended ND Nails to several people and now feel very upset about these recommendations. I will never return to this establishment nor recommend it. read more

Service is good, little rushed but they do a great job. The selection of nail polish is good and the prices are the most reasonable in the area that I'm aware of. read more

Worst pedicure experience. They spent the whole time yelling across the shop at each other laughing, etc which is fine but the guy who did my pedicure was not good. He yelled "oh my god" about the old sparkly nail polish i had on and on another occasion about my feet (totally unnecessary). He kept tsking as my feet were quite dry. Rushed through everything. When "massaging" was slapping my legs. Also was rough with every step. He made me hold my leg up in the air while he would stop mid way throu each task to talk with the other people working.. Rushed me out before polish was dry. Had a second color smudged overtop and the polish peeled within 5minutes. Also used equipment that is not up to code. DON'T go there. Much better places in town. They did re-apply polish and apologize profusely when I complained. But overall place is not clean and it is iffy depending who you get! read more

My grandma and I went to ND nails for acrylics and they did a really nice job on the new set BUT.....when we went back for a fill we were both highly disappointed!!!! She rushed us through and we were the only 2 in there at the time, she did not shape the acrylic nice at all and she over filed the edges way too much. So we ended up with nails that have big dips in then and they are the weirdest shape I have ever seen. I would never go back there for a fill again. Total waste of $50.00!!!!!!!!!! They were very friendly and pleasant. read more

I've been going to this salon since it opened and I love it! I enjoy coming here a lot. Friendly atmosphere. The salon is very relaxing. They do such a great job and they are quick as well. They also do lovely nail art too. The nail polish on my toes always lasts so long, it's crazy! read more

I got a pedicure and gel toes nails done mid august 2012 and it cost me over a $100.00. The pedicure lasted about 25 minutes and the lady was exteremlt rough. She used a pumice sponge on the top of my feet, the tip of my toes and on sides of my ankles. There is no calluses located there on most people, including myself and the skin is very sensitive and thin. If that wasnt painful enough, the lady moved on scrubbing my entire feet including the tops with a very hard nail brush and then started the cuticle clipping. This is where I asked her to stop twice as she was clipping away healthly cuticle and was drawing blood! She did stop but didnt think anything of it, and just moved right on. My feet are well manicured and the only reason I went was because Im having back surgery and have severe nerve damage down my leg (which when she pulled on my leg repeatedly and told me to "relax", I got tears in my eyes from the pain she was causing from pulling) and cant bend over to do my own. Once the pedicure was over and I had to waited an additional 20 mins to have another lady come over and do my gel toe nails. She did do an alright job with all things considered so far However when I got up to walk away I could feel the toes where she had cut to deep and it was hurting. Sure enough I woke up in the morning the next day with a throbbing RED and INFECTED toel!! It hurt, it was infected and it started to puss! Absolutely unexceptable Im not sure if it was from an inadaequately train nail tech, a pedicure basin that was not cleaned properly which allowed bacteria to grow or if the nail instruments were not sanitized properly but I walked in with completely health happy feet and left with sore feet and an infection. Lucky for me Im health and was able to fight the infection without any complications but if I wasnt healthy, if I had diabetes or if i had a weak immuny system, if could have been a serious problem. Your cuticles are a direct connection to your blood stream so you do have to be careful. I called the business and told her what had happened and she didnt feel it was a reason for me to get a refund. She said because it was only a toe and an infection that this was not grounds for a refund. Im actually in shock from the way they treated me. I hope then next time you go looking to have a nail service done that you have read this and decided wether or not if this is a place you would like to go read more

Very friendly staff and very reasonable. Happy to accommodate a walk in or suggests a time that would work - usually the same day. Sometimes they are a bit rushed and I think they could use a receptionist that does just reception - but I know that isn't cost effective for most businesses. Great choice in polish, good results. Happy return customer! read more

I have to admit they do good work. They're good at it as well. No customer service skills I must admit. And how often are things cleaned or disinfected? Have you ever watched them. They reuse the tools without cleaning them. read more
