Came to return an item, then only short time that I had do finally pass by and return. No lines for the cashier Yay! But not so fast! The young girl inspects the item, the receipt and then proceeds to inform me that she cannot process the return, only the manager can. And the manager just went on break and that I have to wait 15 min for the manager to come back from the break and that only that manager can process the return. Then the manager comes with an attitude pretty rude and tells me that they only do exchage and no returns... I guess I am not shopping here anymore

If I could give this no stars I would. Got discriminated in…read morehere today. I am disabled so have to make commutes and had a big bag carrying my stuff for work. It was pretty half full and it's a sponsored bag, like I make money. If you read the reviews they do automatically think you're stealing which is dumb because I was going to buy this cow shirt. They chased money away. They had security escort me from the dressing room and wouldn't tell me why and told me I was banned from ever coming back. I was like well do you want to see my bag I didn't steal anything. But security said they refused service to me and wouldn't tell me why and they didn't know either. I was dressed nice too, pink skirt with rhinestones and a shirt with button ups. I also literally put some clothes back that I had tried on that didn't work and the workers saw me and tried on the items I was allowed to bring in. I was in the dressing room for 20 minutes total and there was barely anyone in the store. They didn't ask me to leave personally I would have - just immediately called security and told them I was refusing to leave which wasn't true- there was never any original confrontation. They knocked on my dressing room door and demanded I come out in my bra and I asked what I did wrong because if I did something I don't want to do it again but they wouldn't say. My theories are they thought I was sexting my boyfriend even though I wasn't I just called him to get his opinion on a dress and I ended up not even taking that call when he returned it because he couldn't chat because he was on a cruise. The other theory is that because I'm white passing I hung up some clothes I didn't want because I knew I wouldn't be able to try them on in the dressing room and one fell down that I hung up because I'm low visioned and sometimes things are just a little awkward when my hands are full when I was rearranging to get a better grip on my pile by the shoes because I have limited peripheral and I smiled as a thanks to the lady who hung them up but I feel like she misread that. Normally I verbally say thank you but I was so tired because I've been working so hard at my social media jobs. It was a really weird experience but if you're disabled be careful when you go here. Honestly I would do a wellness check on the owner of this establishment because it's giving paranoia and psychosis. It's also giving if you are a hungry lawyer a really great case for discrimination. Read these reviews - very eye opening. I hope the owner and workers that reads this learn that you shouldn't assume the worst in people. Everyone is just trying their best and some people are just trying to support and shop. Made me realize why everyone is gravitating to online shopping rather than in brick and motors if they're gonna treat people like this.

Thankfully, one day I scored a spot and spent some time checking out a few places. The 30% off sign & sales rack in front of this store caught my attention, so I stopped in. The Canyon is a quaint little shop that carries apparel, home goods, and vintage clothing. It's nicely curated, which makes it easy to browse through the Boho chic pieces and vintage apparel. They also carry unique jewelry, candles, accessories, and other cool items. I didn't find anything but the gal working was friendly and attentive. Next time I'm in the area I'll stop by to see what is new.

I rarely post like this, but this situation was so weird I kind of have to, mostly so people who…read morethink about shopping at The Canyon are aware: I was on a call pacing the sidewalk in front of this store when a woman--maybe the owner, maybe an employee, I'm not sure--came out and demanded I "take my call somewhere else," which escalated into her yelling, "nobody wants to hear your fucking conversation," and other aggressive comments, while I stared at her in shock and eventually ended my call. It was a quick interaction, maybe 5 minutes, but it left me shaking. there are so many other details of this interaction that contribute to the clear sense I have that it was all racially motivated. After I ended my call and rejoined, I walked away shocked that this woman felt so shamelessly emboldened to police my behavior on a PUBLIC sidewalk. I was embarrassed that so many people saw me get defensive in return and possibly perceived me as an aggressor. Now I am just angry the interaction overshadowed the nice day/lunch with friends/best buffalo chicken salad I had just eaten. Anyway, this store seems like it has cute stuff, but it's cuter to not be a jerk...

I brought my dress that was too small for a reference because it was just too small in my breast area. I also brought in the dress that I'm wearing to the wedding that is one size up. That's absolutely too big on me. It's a corset top dress from house of CB. I brought the smaller one as a reference, thinking it would help them. Because I requested to try that on for the woman who is tailoring the dress so she could see how it's supposed to fit... but the owner threw a tantrum and told me he would not do it. I never was treated so terribly by anyone in any establishment like this before. He snapped and threw a tantrum because I wanted to show the woman tailoring the dress. What a psychotic control freak. My sister gets all her items tailored there. She's a dancer. I walked in and was shocked how filthy that place was. I'm stunned this place has any stars. The fact the women on the phone told me to come in and they would do it same day is crazy. It took me a hour to get there they literally not only wasted my time but the man was an absolute nightmare rude control freak. I never had such a terrible experience ANYWHERE- DO NOT GO HERE .

What do I have to be embarrassed about??? Absolutely nothing. There are plenty of other shops to enjoy. Not sure I'll be back to this one,

I've been visiting Ovation back when it was still called the Hollywood and Highland Center…read more Back then it used to have these amazing huge elephants on columns, but apparently, they were taken down because they referenced a filmmaker who was racist. If you didn't know the backstory, you'd never know. Now the plaza is rather plain. At least the bridges with views of the Hollywood sign are still there. When it's Oscar season, the shops are covered up with huge curtains and the red tiled grand staircase acts as a red carpet. My most recent visit was for the Chinese New Year celebrations. They had performers, a fashion show, and booths where you could do different things, like write down a wish and tie it up on a tree or get a special good luck red envelope that normally contains money, but in this case they stuffed them with coupons for a few of the nearby shops. The mall itself is a typical mall with stores you'd see anywhere else in the U.S., it's not crazy expensive like Rodeo Drive. The main difference is that the Chinese Movie Theater holds movie premieres and the Dolby Theater holds the Oscar Awards, so same, but not the same. I greatly appreciate the underground parking garage since parking is always an issue in L.A. and there are enough levels that if one level is full, you can just drive down to the next ones. I've had issues with paying for parking, though, everything from one of the machines not accepting my card only to find out I was charged twice, to paying a ridiculous amount because the event I went to at Dolby Theater wouldn't validate. My advice is to buy something, anything at one of the shops or restaurants so you can get that purple validation ticket. That way you'll pay $3 instead of an hour's worth of work or more, and make sure to put that purple ticket in first and then the regular white one. And no matter how many times I've been here, the zigzag directions for both the parking garage and escalators are disorienting, like why? Why not make it straightforward? Is the confusion on purpose to make us slow down? I've lost count of how many times I've been here and I'm sure that for one reason or another I'll be back because even though some parts of it are frustrating, for the most part it's good because of the special events it holds and the sheer energy of it being a tourist destination.

Super sick options from trad goth styles to more alt styles. Plus a huge selection of bands tees.
