Clean venue, good flavor (3.5 / 5 star)…read more Venue: bright and modern decor. Small-to medium sized venue on the ground floor of apartment building. (live, play) type of building. Food: small menu which I do not have any problem with. When I go to Thai/lao restaurants, I always order papaya salad - which will tell me everything and what kind of food I can expect. Very simple taste- that doesn't mean bland. It captures sweet, savory and tang. Ordered green curry. Good flavor but almost bland - it can improve on the ingredients. Khao soi noodles again, taste good but missing something - All the dishes tried seems it was missing fish sauce flavor and more, which all dishes didn't seem to reflect traditional deep flavors. The chicken wings were pretty good. Wish the skin was crunchy and had a better batter. The hat yai dry rub was good, salty and sour but kind of reminded me more like tajin. My son really loved it. Service: yin and yang. One older lady who served our table was nice and attentive. The other supporting female staff there was unfriendly, almost seemed mad at the world. Slow service. Price: I don't know why NC charges so much for Asian food in general. I can't say it's outrageously expensive or reasonable price for the genre of this food. All in all, not a bad tasting food. It captured good flavor and has potential. I felt that the dishes are made afraid to show the real flavor traditional Thai flavor. May be good for entry -level food exploring.

I forgot to capture a pic of my perfectly grilled salmon, drenched in the right amount of creamy sauce with vegetables at the time of this review, so I re-ordered as I was craving this deliciousness! The service was quick, and nicely packaged for UberEats. Such a cute staple in the heart of quay! I love Turkish cuisine and can't wait to visit the country again. The food and taste were 10/10 for sure! A perfect date night for yourself to mindfully enjoy each divinely orchestrated bite! I romanticize my life, treat myself, embody slow living, go on delicious foodie adventures, and curate healing experiences for my body, mind and soul. Parking can be anxiety-inducing. I grabbed a spot just as someone pulled out of it. Many times have I driven past Eggs Up due to the line of waiting potentials. I don't wait for anything if I can help it. It was still packed on a Friday morning, but I nabbed a counter seat. Hash Benedict and fancy donuts. Well, well, look at me eating fancy donuts over here! La-di-da, Your Majesty. The donuts were light - softly crunchy, if that makes any sense. I learned quickly that using my hands was a messy mistake. Fancy donut eaters like me can't be licking their fingers in a restaurant. Use a knife and fork. Man oh man. The eggs were so fluffy. The hash was absolutely delicious. And the hash browns were fine. Nothing to crab about. Any cons here? Well yes, it took 25 minutes to get my order delivered. To their credit, they said they'd messed up my eggs and did them over. However, it was obvious my browns were the originals because while the eggs came out hot, the potatoes were lukewarm, if that. Yes, I could've said something but that would've made my wait even longer. I know they're super popular and waiting is a thing there. But, like I said, I hate waiting for things. Anyway, the workers all seemed like beautiful people. It was quite clean in there, and passing the time with the kind regular sitting next to me was a pleasure. I'm in no hurry to return. I was there using a Christmas gift card. It's a fine place with good food. It's just too popular for my taste. Don't let that keep you away. 4.3.

These were amazing even without the caramel. I think there was a stuffing in the middle. I'll go back to Dine In when I'm back to this town or see another store somewhere else.

The salad bar had a great selection of veggies that looked very fresh, and I appreciated the house made croutons. The complimentary bread rolls were served warm and they were fantastic! Loved they tasted like a sweet yeast roll. The prime rib piece we received was part of the end and had a nice portion of cap, which is my favorite part of a ribeye. The seasoning was perfect and I didn't even have to salt the meat it was so tasty. The twice baked potato was delicious too! Our server Michelle was wonderful! We celebrated a special occasion on a Friday evening and were pleased. The hostess started things out very positively by going above and beyond to seat us in a booth. She checked in a couple of times during our meal to insure that we were having a great experience. It was much appreciated. The salad bar doesn't have a huge selection of ingredients, but it is very fresh and kept well stocked. It was the quintessential steak house salad bar. Skip the dinner rolls; they tasted like something from the grocery store bakery and weren't very good. We both tried the Wagyu ribeye. It was very nice: cooked exactly as ordered with a nice sear on the outside. The steak was very flavorful and tender as Wagyu should be. It was excellent and a very reasonable value for $69. The accompanying salt-rubbed baked potato was excellent as well. The restaurant offered two dessert choices: a flight of cheese cake samples or a chocolate cake. We chose the chocolate cake and received a mammoth slab of cake covered in white icing. It was good but nothing exceptional. I wish there had been at least one additional dessert choice to choose from. Service for the rest of our meal was fine. Our drinks ran dry but were eventually refilled. The kitchen did a good job serving our meals at just the right time. The restaurant is attractively decorated inside, but it can't hide its heritage as a prefab metal building. There's a thrift store next door which creates a dichotomy for a restaurant serving $69 steaks. We will return to Harvey Johns Steakhouse the next time we're in the mood for a steak.
