One of the enclosures has more trees providing shade than the other, which is where the dogs tend to be. There is water available for the pups in all of the areas, as well as bags for picking up their poo. It's also great that the park is so near to the trail that runs along the railroad, so that you can take your pooch on a walk before/after/instead of playing in the park. It's a little tough to find, not visible from Illick's Mill Road. It's behind Memorial Pool, down the hill from the ice rink.

I hope they will possibly make the trail a loop around the creek to the bridge and the Silk center one day if that's possible to make the trek a bit nicer and safer. Also - I imagine that putting up a sound barrier might be very cost prohibitive so walkers should be aware that there's a section that goes close to the highway and is fairly noisy. Overall, I enjoyed my day & seeing the art installations and would recommend it as a place for others to visit.

We were talking to other vendors, apparently its $80 ?!???? for a spot that looked very very small, greedy priced. To get a spot at JAKES FLEA MARKET is only $12 for 1 day AND they give you a table ! I saw one of the lemonade stand people, A HUGE lady was smoking a cigarette and didn't wash there hands after smoking and returning to cut the lemons, GROSS, DISGUSTING, That is not an example of how to run a beverage business, YET I bet they want other venders to follow the rules when THEY DON'T. When I saw that I threw our cup away. The water tasted to me like spicket water with a funny after taste like pottstown water, not even purified water that has been treated to drink. Just seemed to be the lazy way of making lemonade. Just BLAH. As it states, it is a sanctuary - a sacred place for meditation, quietness and reflection. There are about 90 stones throughout the sanctuary - sourced locally and placed between 1980 and 2005 - that are nearly 3.6 billion (!) years old. Wow. There is a pond area as well, filled with koi fish and other little creatures. Since we've had a long, harsh winter in the North East this year, not much had bloomed and the trees were still bare with lots of anticipating bursts of spring ahead. I did capture a few daffodils and flowers poking their way through some of the brush. The trails are easy, natural and inviting. We arrived fairly early in the AM on a Saturday, and snagged a parking spot. There is limited parking and by the time we were leaving, the spots were all full. I would think the earlier in the day one can come, the better it is all around. Upon leaving a realized there is also a little Resource Center and Gem Shop by the fountains, but we were on our way out and skipped exploring this. Plus I was on my way to (a very clean!) porter-potty (so thankful one was on site.) toilet paper & hand sanitizer, too! Just as an FYI Thoroughly enjoyed coming here and exploring this beautiful, simple space. I love that they're a sanctuary, a non-profit organization committed to preserving nature's beauty and diversity. My heart was happy. Thankful. Inspiring. Would love to possibly create a similar nature sanctuary in the city one day.

Its…read morea very nice, well maintained park with plenty of Megaliths to admire and take pictures with. Its a relatively small and can be fully explored in 1-2 hours. But you could easily spend more time here on a nice day. Its a bit off the beaten path, but the curvy, mountainous roads make the drive there enjoyable. Its a great place for a date, family outing, or just some alone time. Great photo ops.

There are two separate play areas: one for small and shy dogs and another for large and playful dogs. There is parking and picnic tables. We meet so many friendly dogs and people. Several of the visitors had come over from Pottstown. They said this was their preferred park and worth the short drive. Both of my dogs, one young and one senior had a blast. They napped for hours when we got home.

During summers, these areas can get really busy so I suggest coming early to claim a table/shelter. The 5 mile trail around the lake is mostly flat, a great walk for any age. My family and I also enjoy picking blueberries from the bushes that line the lake. September is when the fall foliage begins to come out but I would wait a bit longer before seeing the beautiful changing leaves!
