Naylamp Peruvian restaurant Serves authentic Peruvian dishes. My favorite is the Peruvian chicken. I always order a half chicken with the green rice and salad. The Peruvian green sauce (AJi Verdi) it's very tasty and I always order extra to dip my chicken in. I also enjoy their delicious Ceviche. Fast, friendly customer service.

If there's a favorite Peruvian restaurant for me, Naylamp is probably it. The food is absolutely fantastic but I am holding 1 star back because they did not accommodate my request. Naylamp is known for the Lomo Saltado. Having had this traditional Peruvian dish at other restaurants, I specifically requested to have the fries separately just like how the dish was shown in the menu. What came out was the stir fry on top of the fries. I was not happy with this when I specifically requested it a certain way. Of course, I did not eat any of the soggy fries. I really liked the papa rellena appetizer at Naylamp. It's deep fried mashed potato stuffed with seasoned beef and egg inside. It had a good taste and very unique in presentation and flavor. This is one of Naylamp's most popular appetizers. Naylamp is a tiny Peruvian restaurant with a maximum occupancy of 23 customers. Don't worry, the restaurant usually does not exceed the occupancy. I don't mind the space. I find it lovely but I am still not happy with this restaurant on how they completely botched my request.

Hidden GEM alert!!!!!! Went for lunch here this week and was not disappointed!!! The lomo saltado was a big win and the mussels were delicious!!!! The owners and servers made the experience even better by talking to us about the Peruvian culture!!!! Speaking of culture, the vibes were definitely authentic Peruvian the place was decorated beautifully and the music matched to give this place an amazing atmosphere!!!!

I got to visit Oklahoma City for the first time with my dad and brother, and as Peruvians, we couldn't wait to try this place. The restaurant is small, but it's absolutely packed with flavor. I have to say, the Pollo à la Brasa (Peruvian roasted chicken) was the only dish that didn't hit the mark for me. It didn't have that classic rotisserie flavor--it felt more like it was baked in an oven, which was a little disappointing since it's usually one of my favorites. But everything else? Amazing. The Lomo Saltado was my top pick, and if you go, definitely ask them to mix the fries into the sauce--it makes all the difference. The decor is super charming, with lots of Peruvian touches, and they even play Peruvian music, which sets such a fun vibe. We were seated right away, and the wait time for food was pretty standard. I did notice a lot of people ordering takeout, probably because the space is pretty small and seating is limited. Overall, it's a great spot for some delicious Peruvian food, even if the chicken didn't quite meet my expectations.

The food is very good and chicha morada is the best drink it's a must get!! My niece got the kids meal which is perfect for any kids as a whole meal and if they're picky they will still like it. The yellow meal is Aji de Gallina which was so good but very fulfilling con Arroz Verde which has such a good flavor. The Tacu Tacu is also a classic go to meal. The waiter was nice and told about the lunch specials. It was very crowded at first but then a big family left and it was a nice area.

Amazing! Food is always great. Friendly staff. The green sauce is the best. We go far out of our way to come here

Easily the best peruvian homemade food from Oklahoma and maybe the midwest. Ceviche was flavorful. Leche de tigre was also delicious. Tacu tacu was also amazing. I wish I had a restaurant like this in Kansas like Gabbys too. Service is great. The location is small but good service makes you overlook the rest.

This dessert....WOW! It was decadent and had just the right amount of fruity freshness. They complement each other really well.

WOW! This was my first Peruvian cuisine experience and it DID NOT disappoint. Everything we tried was so good. Can't wait to return and explore the rest of their menu.

A great traditional Peruvian restaurant. No frills and straight forward. The spoken language is Spanish, but they will speak English as well. Food was great! All prepared in the traditional way. Came hot and quickly. Service was amazing as well. The only thing is that the neighborhood didn't seem great. If you get nervous about those things, it may not be right for you. We loved it!

Heard of Naylamp and have driven by it. I believe we tried a different location a very long time ago. My wife and I decided to visit the SW location with another couple. It's a small restaurant but they did a good job of seating at every other table due to covid. They also wore masks. It wasn't terribly busy but once we got there, we were followed by multiple families so the restaurant got full fast! The service was pleasant so you may be wondering why the 3 stars. Here's what we ordered: 1. Appetizer: Papa A La Huancaina - Traditional Peruvian appetizer. Combination of sliced boiled potatoes topped with huancaina sauce, boiled eggs and aceitunas. Pretty good. Our first time trying it. 2. Appetizer: Papa Rellena Deep-fried mashed potato, stuffed with seasoned beef raisins. Topped with salsa criolla. Serve with signature green sauce. The description may have a typo because I didn't taste any raisins but it definitely had beef. This is an item I would recommend. It reminds me of shepherd's pie; deep fried. Very flavorful. I could make a meal out of a few of these. There's only one on the plate but it's fairly large. 3. 1/4 chicken with green rice and plantains My wife and I both got this and it wasn't anything that wowed us. We liked it, especially the plantains. The chicken and rice was just mediocre. But here's why we can't say much more. We lost our appetite when 1/2 way through the chicken, my wife sees a 3 inch piece of hair entangled in the wing of her chicken. You can imagine how disgusted she was. I can handle it but she struggles with things like that quite a bit. I understand things happen so we asked them to take it back and give us another entree. They asked if we wanted the same thing and my wife said yes- chicken... They brought back her same exact plate but had just changed out the chicken. That hair may have touched the rice next to it so the proper thing to do was get her a new plate with fresh sides and food. I'm not sure if they just don't know how to handle situations like these but it put a damper on things. She wasn't happy and felt disgusted to begin with to even finish. This is my rant on why they only get the 3. 4. Milanesa De Pollo Slow fried breaded chicken breast served with white rice and our signature salad. Our friend got this and he enjoyed it. He didn't touch the salad, which was similar to a potato salad. He said it lacked salt and was very bland. The rice and breaded chicken were good otherwise. Naylamp is one of the few Peruvian places in OKC so give it a try. We just hope you have a better experience than us.

This place is amazing! Flavorful and reasonably priced. I love Peruvian food and hadn't found an authentic place in OKC until I came here! Will be back

Naylamp Peruvian Restaurant I love meals here. I enjoy the Peruvian culture which we get to experience while dining with the folks of Naylamp. Their food is delicious. The decor is casual, comfortable, and welcoming and the staff is attentive. Also, note it is closed on Tuesdays. My favorite dish is probably the Peruvian sampler appetizer which is just the beginning of the best of what this little spot has to offer. There's nothing here which I've ordered which I didn't like. The Peruvian sampler can come with papa a la huancaina, papa rellena, & a tamal. I love the papa a la huancaina which is a boiled potato with a specialty Peruvian cream sauce over the top, the papa rellena is a fried potato ball stuffed with meaty deliciousness-yes, please! There may also be a tasty tamal to round out the trio. For mains, I love the lomo saltado dish which is thin strips of marinated steak mixed with onions, tomatoes, and french fries served with cilantro rice-it's flavorful and delicious. I also love the simple pleasures of salchipappa which is bitesize fried hot dogs mixed up with french fries. Don't judge, it's delicious. I also love the pollo a la brasa which is grilled chicken served with fries, salad and a drink. This is a great dish for sharing if you get the half or whole options. I think the tacu tacu dish is also tasty. Lastly, I recommend the arroz chaufa, AKA fried rice-it's scrumptious. This location has a small and casual dining room. The exterior isn't anything fancy and may be off-putting to a few, but don't let it turn you off. My only criticism of the physical location is the bathroom setup. I believe it may be a challenge for individuals who experience a physical handicap to maneuver in this bathroom as it is so small. They accept cards. They also have an order ahead system on Yelp if you are wanting to pick up your food in a hurry. Yes, the service staff may speak Spanish, but there's usually someone there who speaks English as well. I've never had any communication barriers that couldn't be overcome with a smile and a picture menu, as a last resort.

Drinks we started with Inca Kola (lemonade) and Maracuya (Mango Juice). These were a great starter, not tarts but not overly sweet. As an appetizer we got Patacones con ceviche de camaron. These are fried plantains like chips, topped with shrimp and an amazing sauce that will make your mother water. It's served warm and best to be picked up and eaten. This will get you ready for your entree. For a fish entree we had Ceviche de pescado. This is a dish with fish and corn in lemon juice and hot peppers. It's served cold on a bed of lettuce with sweet potato slices. It's very easy on the eyes, flavorful, good mix between the fish and red onions. The sweet potatoes gave it a good contracting flavor. Best eaten with the hot peppers and lemon juice. Our final entree was Lomo Saltado. This is a beef dish served over beans and tomatoes with rice, red onions and cilantro sauce. I put a bed of rice down, covered with onion, then beans, then the beef (which had the most amazing tenderness) and topped with the cilantro sauce. The sauce pulls the whole meal together, and all the flavors works amazingly with each other. Finally we finished with Flan Lucuma. Picture traditional flan but instead of a caramel type topping it was covered in a Peruvian fruit juice that gave it some amazing flavor and not an overpowering sweet. We will definitely be back for more. The staff were so sweet and kind. Very helpful and helped us pick out some great choices. You won't be disappointed.

He immediately came back and started asking if we knew what we wanted. He didn't even offer drinks, we had to ask and tell him we were figuring it out. We ordered appetizers and food eventually. No excuse me. No I'm sorry. The food was fine and okay, the experience with the wait staff made it just not enjoyable. Also, the carne asada doesn't seem to be actually carne asada so it felt like a lot of things were not as promised.
