But once you get to a window the two people I got were very helpful in resolving my issue. Plan on a minimum of one hour or more with no appointment. Even the security guards were pleasant to deal with. First perception is they come across as "above the law" rent a cops, but as you get through the security check points (it's like TSA airport security) they are very pleasant. Hope this info helps.

This review is not for the building or security but for the records office where you can get your birth certificate. I went in and a lovely lady assisted me. She was polite and friendly, advised me of the process and so I completed it. After I took everything back up to her, she advised me it would be a quick wait and to have a seat. At the time, I was on disability due to a previous TORN MCL injury, so I could not stand long. Mind you, I even had a minor limp. I was told I could have a seat by the nice representative processing my request. As soon as a I sat down, some guy who was not even ASSISTING me that was behind the glass, told me I needed to stand up and wait for my turn? Despite me already being assisted but everyone else was sitting? Just because one had a child and another was elderly.... why couldn't I sit down? I felt this rep needs a refresher in disability rights and to learn how not to discriminate. Not ALL disabilities can be seen by the naked eye. I am not the type to argue especially in a government/city building so I stood up and when the lady noticed this, she quickly tried to process my request to get me in and out. After a few minutes, I sat back down because of the pain I was feeling in my knee. The man, however, needs an attitude check and a reminder by HR to leave your problems at the door when clocking in to work. If the process is to not sit (which doesn't make sense.... not everyone can stand for long periods to fill out forms oR at the computer) then you should be mindful of that. Have some signs up maybe if that's the policy !

If I were a cooperation or a millionaire no questions asked, and I'd get my refund with in 24hrs. It's a gym, no additional staffing required, lights are on, nothing else scheduled for the gym, why isn't it available? Second reason for only one star, when you call the number listed in Yelp, you are directed to a city of Stockton answering machine where you need to remember the last four digits so you can enter them to finally get through to the gym. I was hesitant to write a review as I'm aware that my concern is more for non-emergency service…read more However, this is the second time that I've called Stockton police department and the dispatchers who answered my calls were dismissive towards me. The police dispatcher I talked to rushed me while I was explaining my family's situation involving issues with a neighbor. I understand it was a non-emergency situation. however, I did not know who else to contact since the non-emergency line was not answering my calls, likely due to the late hour of my call. I'm giving 2 stars because police officers arrived quickly after the call and they gave us advice on how to move forward. Unfortunately, the dispatcher I spoke with showed little empathy towards our situation and did not even offer any advice and just said that it's a non-emergency, there are other more pressing calls she has to get to, and quickly hanged up. Please be more compassionate toward those seeking your help, as we wouldn't reach out unless the situation felt serious.
