After six months of waiting, the owner told me there had been a technical glitch and that the order would be sent shortly. Never happened. Emails, voicemails, FB messages - no response. Don't use online store I ordered 2 gift boxes for Christmas on Nov 29, 2018. They charged my credit card but never sent product. I contacted them (phone and email) in mid December and was told there was a delay with candy but that the gifts were going out that day. Mid January, 2019 - still no delivery. My order still says "processing". I tried reaching out to them again and they are closed every Monday now. I gave up and disputed the charge through my credit card. By all means visit the store in person. The online store seems to be defunct. read more

Alright, so there are already a few 1-star reviews here about how orders weren't fulfilled and the complete lack of communication after the many many many attempts by the customers to figure out what's goin on with their order(s) - add this review to that list... I also want to add that we weren't even refunded for the NINE (9) orders we put in back in early December..filed a dispute with my credit card company and they won't issue a full refund...even tho NONE of the orders were fulfilled/delivered... Idk about you, but keeping someone's money for items and services not rendered sounds like theft to me.... The in-store experience might be gold but their ordering system and processes (or lack there of) is not even worth 1 star. read more

A note to the tamale lovers out there. The tamales they bring in from San Antonio are fantastic! I was really impressed with the original pork tamales and the wide selection of non meat options. DO NOT BUY from this company. I can't even give them a one star. Ordered a shipment to be sent to Chicago in Dec 2nd. Emailed and called (left voicemail) Dec 11th wanting shipping information. Received an email saying to prepare to ship and that they were waiting for dark chocolate. Replied to substitute milk chocolate if that was causing a delay. I have sent three more emails and tried to call (now voice mailbox is full so you cannot leave message). No response! It is now December 23rd and it has not been shipped. Navidad Farms has a little store on 290 w, just about 4 miles west of the Oak Hill "y" where they sell every imaginable kind of Texas grown and made jams, jellies, sauces, spices, chili mixes, candies and.... PECANS! They have milk chocolate covered pecans, dark chocolate pecans, cinnamon pecans, spicy pecans, salty pecans and don't forget the pralines! They also have every imaginable type of barbeque sauce, including a bunch from the Salt Lick. So....If you want to send cousin Millie who lives in California some wild Texas cactus fruit jalepeno jelly, this is the place to find it! I had the same experience as the 2 other 1 star reviews. on 2 Dec 2019 I ordered 4 gift boxes via the telephone. By mid December no one had received their boxes. I called Navidad to find out when they were shipped. All I got was the answering machine. I left messages, but Jeanne never returned my calls. She finally called 2 days before Christmas and said there was a problem getting the candy, but they would probably get them Christmas eve or shortly after. Pecans. I was craving for fresh pecans, and I found a pot of gold. The store, the service, the inventory, the aromas. Gee! Man, it blew my mind. A little place of wonders. I came out of that place like a bandit with a loot of pecans, and jams to feed an army. Now the little gem is hidden in middle of garages and warehouses. So you have to look for it. Right from the entrance you are in a time machine, which it sets you up for a rustic and quaint ambiance packed to the gills with all sort of tasteful goodies. Looking for a Christmas present? Baking pecans, candied pecans, gift assortments, and of top quality. All pecans are NOT made equal, and this store carries the very best, and freshest. Indeed, sometimes their inventory is low, but it's only because they don't settle for less than the best when sales are brisk and they wait to get in their high end product. They also carry an amazing variety of specialty foods, with a big emphasis on Texas products. What a pleasant surprise! I always seemed to remember to stop by on Sundays when they're closed but we finally made it in a few Saturdays ago. They have all kinds of local products in there, not just pecans. They have an entire room dedicated to Christmas and Christmas decorations! Plenty of college stuff, decor for the house, snacks, souvenirs, and gifts. The lady there was very helpful and they have tons of snacks out for sample. read more

Very cool store right near our house. We finally checked them out and were glad we did. Tons of jams to sample and choose from: raspberry jalapeno was our favorite. We also tried some of their chocolate covered pecans and the Cajun spiced pecans, both very good. We bought a few packages of pecans and also some jam. It's nice to know a place like this exists.
