If you're looking for someone who will answer your phone calls, show up when he says he will, can actually do what he tells you he can AND do it in the length of time he says he will; takes pride in his work and is dependable and honest, give him a call! We cannot sing his praises enough! We highly recommend him! Email him at nick@valknuthandyman.com or call him at 602-565-4476. If you wish to see pictures and learn the details of the original/horrible "deck" it took Matthew Halderman, owner of All N 1 LLC almost 6 months to "build", go to my review of All N 1 LLC, Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ - you will be sorry if you hire him or anyone who works for him, trust me! He repeatedly lied to us, strung us along and milked us out of thousands before abandoning the project, leaving us with an unsalvageable mess that thankfully Nick agreed to fix for us. Nick completely tore everything down and started the deck all over again. We hired Nick on June 12th and he began demolition on that same day. He finished the rebuild, including paint, on July 7th and the County Inspector gave us the green light to move in on July 10th. Mind you, Nick did the tear-down and rebuild in 4 weeks AND did it all by himself! Thank you, Nick! We appreciate you and wish you all the best - you deserve that and so much more!

March 2023 I hired…read moreRene and Cris Gonzalez owners of "Show Low's Best Handyman" to remodel my kitchen, 2 bathrooms, fireplace, interior paint and tile floors. I intend to report them to the Arizona Better Business Bureau. Why? Shady Business Practice: I was charged contractor prices for sloppy work. Their lack of planning and communication with the Electrician and Plumber cost me $1000's in travel fees. No Transparency: Ask for ALL the return receipts as well as itemized charges of work done. I was charged for work that was not completed. Look for hidden charges. They use Unskilled Handymen that needed training and supervision that Rene did not provide. Don't let Alejandro or Isidro work in your home. I had to micromanage them daily to get the work done right. The Quality of Work was so poor my husband and I had to redo much of the work as well as clean up all the paint and glue they slopped all over. No Detailing was done: No silicone around the shower/tub, No sanding or staining of trim, rough uneven cuts on wood trim and tile. The list goes on and on!! Disgruntled Customers, Liz and Richard

Found out no electricity or water and "professionals can not do the job in the dark". First of all, it is not dark in the house. There are windows galore in the house and does not require lighting in the daytime. They do make flashlights and lanterns, if you needed them, that use something called batteries. As far as water, for a wipe-down, and a light mop, would not need more than a few gallons of water in a 5-gal bucket for the whole job. This syndrome of "cherry-picking" easy jobs is a theme in this whole area. It seems to be impossible to get anyone to actually do any work that requires the tiniest of effort or is not right next door on a paved road. Note that in this area, half of the roads are dirt. People that advertise (and have such rave - fake - reviews) and then won't perform "Period" do not deserve anyone's business. And if yelp removes THIS review, you will know they protect bad actors and keep them scamming the public. This owner has an arrogance and attitude that is not acceptable for anyone to have to deal with. I recommend you go elsewhere and do not waste you time with this lazy bunch.
