The staff is helpful and friendly and they have a variety of ceramics to choose from to paint. They also have options for painting canvases and creating glass art, which I haven't tried yet. I like the new location, which now has a space in the back with booths, etc for a quieter experience or for a group that needs a little more space to work. The only thing that threw me off was that there are a few different spots that have the ceramic options to paint, but they are on opposite side of the room, etc. So after browsing & selecting an item to paint, I happened to see another display on the other wall with items to choose from, but didn't notice them until after the fact. It would be a little easier to see all of my options in one area, but I also understand that people need the space to browse without being too crowded. I like being able to do something "artistic" without having a plan or following instructions. It might not always look the best, but I always have fun doing it!

The studio is nice and clean and all the teachers have been really friendly. I can't wait until they have their first recital. At first I thought it was going to cost a lot to get her dance lessons, but Dance Moves is very affordable. The fee is only $50 a month and that includes one class per week. The first month is $70 because it includes a $20 registration fee.

Ms. Pidgeon is an endlessly patient instructor who allows individuals of diverse ages and abilities to develop at their own pace and find the style that is best for them. During each lesson, Susan talks out loud about what the student is learning and why. This is a critical component for me. The instruction is seamlessly blended into working on a painting of my choice. Susan listens carefully to my comments, and that is the all important part of excellent communication and teaching. Ms. Pidgeon gives me confidence to experiment and try new approaches. I appreciate that she gives thoughtful answers to my many questions. She said the loan would be in our daughter name with us a co-signers but that was a lie. She said we would not know what financial aid she would qualify for until we signed the form for the loan. She said the loan would be deferred until she finished school. All lies. The truth: we got stuck with the loan not our daughter. it is not a government backed student loan it is a private loan with a very high interest rate. We still don't know if she qualified for any financial aid (grants). She never gave us any loan disclosures before or after the loan was approved. I can't even get a call from her to ask her any questions. We were very shocked when the loan paperwork came in with my husband as the sole borrower. The loan is not deferred payments are due now. Now she is telling my daughter if she quits the school we will be on the hook for the entire amount of the school costs. Plus she will have to return her kit that has already been paid for with the loan! She took advantage of a 19 year old kid who didn't know any better and parent who were feed a line of crap! Do not go to school here. I know of at least one other family in our same boat because of the same women at this school. If enough people complain maybe a class action law suit could be filled. I have tried to contact the school via their web site but no response!
