They offer classes for glass fusion and guided paint classes (the walls had some super cute images!!) amongst other themed classes. Upon walking in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time at the location - it was our first rodeo so she explained the setup. Essentially you pick an item (price on the bottom) and once that's established you pick some colors and paint on! I know with supply issues it may be hard to stock for inventory, but found the selection enough for me plus was stumped on what to decide on! I like how they have seasonal items like ornaments, dreidels, halloweenie goodies, Easter, St Patrick's Day, etc. plus the basics like plates, cups, and side dishes. There's a range of prices from $6-$250 (that one was a gnome riding an owl statue lol). A little paint goes a long way plus I liked how they re-used the plastic palettes so that's environmentally conscious. It was super calming to paint plus liked the spinning wheel to avoid touching the item as much while getting each nook and cranny. It'll take around 2-3 weeks to pick up the item I'm guessing due to kiln space so I'll post the after picture then! If I had kids I would definitely host a party for them here, lovely way for folks of all ages to flex their creativity. Wish there were more studios with pottery wheels to create from the ground up. Perfect for rainy days!

Not only is Ms. Pidgeon a consummate professional, she is a genuinely good person who brings light and laughter to the teaching and learning process. Her comments, critiques, and suggestions are invaluable and have helped me to create art I am proud of. Ms. Pidgeon is an endlessly patient instructor who allows individuals of diverse ages and abilities to develop at their own pace and find the style that is best for them. During each lesson, Susan talks out loud about what the student is learning and why. This is a critical component for me. The instruction is seamlessly blended into working on a painting of my choice. Susan listens carefully to my comments, and that is the all important part of excellent communication and teaching. Ms. Pidgeon gives me confidence to experiment and try new approaches. I appreciate that she gives thoughtful answers to my many questions. One of her favorite expressions is, "There are no art police here." I love that attitude and the fact that it is always possible to improve an acrylic painting using Ms. Pidgeon's techniques. I have also mastered some of he basics of working in oil and how to use mixed media. I continue to explore these mediums, knowing that Susan is a veritable fountain of knowledge. Recently, I learned how to use molding paste to create action and depth in one of my more modern paintings. And in the midst of all the learning and experimenting, I have had fun. I look forward to each new week and the joy I feel. I know I am in the hands of a competent, caring professional who delights in the progress I have made and encourages me to move forward in new and exciting ways.

She was lucky to discover Maria Scott and rebooked with her. Since I was visiting for two weeks, working from my moms home for most of the time but also taking some days off, she booked us two appointments--one last week after my workday was done and one this week on my day off. Last week when we came for our facials I wasn't impressed. This week my mom got to see Maria and I was booked with Jessie Dickson. I'm glad we came a second time or this review would have been completely different. Even though last week's appointment was with an instructor, it was not a great experience...it was just okay. With Jessie and Maria, Kenneth Shuler was redeemed in my eyes My facial was well done and I left with glowing skin and beautifully waxed eyebrows. If I lived here I would see Jessie on a regular basis and would follow her to the spa that is lucky enough to welcome her to their staff. Great experience and a wonderful treat for me.

She said the loan would be in our daughter name with us a co-signers but that was a lie. She said we would not know what financial aid she would qualify for until we signed the form for the loan. She said the loan would be deferred until she finished school. All lies. The truth: we got stuck with the loan not our daughter. it is not a government backed student loan it is a private loan with a very high interest rate. We still don't know if she qualified for any financial aid (grants). She never gave us any loan disclosures before or after the loan was approved. I can't even get a call from her to ask her any questions. We were very shocked when the loan paperwork came in with my husband as the sole borrower. The loan is not deferred payments are due now. Now she is telling my daughter if she quits the school we will be on the hook for the entire amount of the school costs. Plus she will have to return her kit that has already been paid for with the loan! She took advantage of a 19 year old kid who didn't know any better and parent who were feed a line of crap! Do not go to school here. I know of at least one other family in our same boat because of the same women at this school. If enough people complain maybe a class action law suit could be filled. I have tried to contact the school via their web site but no response!
