A little less expensive than right on the lake. The owners are very friendly and really do look out for the interest of their renters. One winter my sailboat started to flood and they tried to unclog the drain and promptly gave me a call. They always knew my name and are very flexible with transferring moorage or any other special arrangements that you might need.

Parking is not free here but you can park outside the pay parking area and just walk to the Marina. The walk is less than 5 mins depending on where you park but like I said there are plenty of free parking in the area. There are a few nice statues or artworks installed here for photo taking. Elliott Bay Marina…read more We stopped by Elliott Bay Marina to get information about docking when we cruise north from Los Angeles to Washington with our motor yacht, @pacificpearlyacht. Ray went into the marina office and had the opportunity to speak with Brice, the harbormaster. He was incredibly nice, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the marina layout, guest accommodations, and what to expect seasonally, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident about arriving by water. The marina itself is beautiful and well positioned, with approximately 1,200 slips and guest accommodations for traveling boats. Brice explained that during the summer months there is a lot of movement with boats coming in and out, and that winter docking is typically manageable as well, even though many owners keep their boats in place due to the colder weather. Overall, it was a very positive and reassuring experience. We're looking forward to our next visit--next time arriving from the water side, which is the plan. Highly recommend Elliott Bay Marina for anyone cruising into Seattle.

I visited here for lunch at Pidgin Cooperative, a co-op restaurant that I would visit again! At the back of the building are docks for working vessels. During the summer months, as you drive in, there are hand written signs promising the freshest fish in the area, so you can buy just-caught fish right from the boat! You can also walk around and enjoy the view of the water, which is perfect for whetting your appetite or for walking off a huge meal. In the autumn, the terminal hosts the annual Fishermen's Fall Festival. There's a free private lot out in front for parking, although there is some construction occasionally.

The marina is always well kept. Few restaurants here too. Sushi, oysters! Grab a drink. And the views. We come down for our morning walks here and sometimes evening. So many yatch brokers are here as well so you can window shop them! All start around $1.6 million? Done! Do you take puppy paw shakes! ? :D We've seen so many birds, ducklings, puffins!! Turtles! And the bully geeses!! A ton of fish too. Easy walk. They have a play ground/ slides too with people working out often. Mostly empty! Mostly pretty spot for walks. Baci approves!

Being our first time paddle-boarding Aaron was totally patient and helped us learn the basic stance and grip and paddle and grip mechanics. He carried our boards out to the dock and has a real chill temperament. They have a great little cove for a beginner. I am nearly 6 foot and we were out on Seafair with all boats so the water was about as calm as it could be with all the revelry. I did fall forward but managed to not topple into the water. We had a great time putt-putting about. The equipment seems all brand new and no complaints.
