IT WAS A DARK NIGHT, BUT A LUCKY NIGHT ... east of Moses Lake, WA, and we were broke down at the side of I90 with our little Retro camper in tow. The guy in the tow truck said he was from the Seattle area. After a very strange call with the AAA call person who seemed to be working from home, but didn't know the software, that a tow truck would appear from 300 miles away had the feel of something terribly wrong. But, it wasn't. Apparently, Carlos had just towed a car to Spokane and was on his way back to the Seattle area. Lucky us just happened to be on his route. He and my husband went into full blown Spanish Motorhead, but when he realized I was less fluent, he filled in the pieces with perfect English. This towing company was dispatched by AAA to help my son.. they went to an incorrect location, when they texted us to return to our vehicle so they could tow us I informed them that he had not left the vehicle he then argued this fact with me.. he said he would give us a call back once he was on the road to the CORRECT location he did not... we received a text from AAA that we would be needing to wait for another tow truck. Very quick, reliable, and friendly service. Diego helped to tow my car because I had a flat tire and my car did not come with a spare. Although he's not too fluent with his English, we were still able to communicate effectively and work together to get my car dropped off at the service center. Not only is he attentive to details, but he is also a great problem solver. Since my car didn't come with a spare tire, he decided to pump enough air into the flat tire so I could drive it out of the garage. I would rate Cortes Towing even high than 5 stars if I could. Carlos had some of the best customer service I have EVER experienced, and made my horrible car/towing situation ten times better. He arrived within 30 minutes of my AAA call, even though they said it would be around 2 hours. They did not let him know I did not have keys for my car, and he was still able to take care of things with no problems and zero complaints. I highly highly recommend using this company!! Had a great experience with Carlos today. We were out last night and our car wouldn't start. AAA came and checked the battery, which was fine, and told us we'd have to tow it to the dealer. Carlos showed up, very professional and friendly. He asked about the problem and after I explained it, he got in the car, moved the shifter to neutral, and started the car. I was in a precarious situation recently. My vehicle had stalled on a fairly busy street when my alternator went out. I was essentially blocking access to an intersection controlled by a stoplight. I immediately contacted AAA & initiated a service call to get towed to a nearby dealership, but they warned me that it might be up to 2 or 2.5 hrs before I would see a truck arrived. In the meantime, I was stuck having to wave a steady stream of cars approaching the intersection around my vehicle. Most of the passing drivers were none to happy about this since it required them to enter the opposing lane to enter the intersection. Cortes Towing was one of the parties that had to go around me as he was in the midst of service call himself, complete w/ a customer's car on the back of his truck. A few minutes after his truck had passed me, I was surprised to see the Cortes tow truck, now empty, pull back through the intersection w/ his window rolled down to ask if I needed help. Even though I reported that I had a call into AAA, he immediately said he would help me get my car moved to a safer spot where I wasn't blocking traffic. Believe me, this was a major relief! On top of his kindness in helping me out, he didn't ask or expect anything in return for his assistance. I told him he could expect to get a 5-star review from me for sure! I am very, very grateful that there are professionals like Cortes out there that are simply willing to help out a person who is in a tough situation.
