Build-Your-Own Bowl: 24 oz (size is called a "Yacht")
    Huda S.

Anytime I'm a driveable distance from Nautical Bowls, I WILL be going under all weather conditions. I've been to a few Minneapolis locations by now, but I've definitely frequented this one the most. I've used mobile ordering almost every time I've gone since I tend to be on some sort of time restriction. During my last visit to Minnesota, I frequented this location three times in three days (I think that says enough on my opinion about this chain). I'm incredibly happy to say that each day added yet another positive experience as a customer here. There hasn't been a day I've come here where the service hasn't been outstanding. Some businesses with primarily teenage employees sometimes don't meet service expectations (mostly in the Northeast). This chain has trained their employees extremely well. They've shown that age is no excuse for unfriendly or rude service. Every time I've come in, I'm greeted kindly and helped immediately. The employees have been efficient and attentive. I had even come in on a very busy evening where a large group of girls from a sports team were ordering, and my order was still prepped and ready in the temporary freezer. I've also come in previously where the manager was in-store; and she provided nothing but a warm and welcoming experience. Aside from exceptional service and timeliness, my orders have been accurately made with every visit. I could taste the freshness and high-quality ingredients. Nothing was ever soggy or unripe in any way. The toppings were portioned generously and met expectations for what I had paid for. I also noticed that the consistency of each layer of smoothie base was almost perfect every time. My only gripe is the discontinuation of the limited Ube smoothie base. It's pretty obvious that my experiences here have been outstanding. Considering the number of times I've frequented this location, the consistency in every part of my several experiences is a testament to what it's like to be a customer here. I can also say that other locations that I've visited much less have still provided a great experience. My biggest critique is the lack of franchisees in the Northeast ;)

Just had my first-ever visit to Nautical Bowls in Edina, and wow - consider me officially obsessed…read more I ordered the Sunrise Bowl and let me tell you, it was bursting with flavor in every bite. We're talking tropical, refreshing, energizing - like a fruity daydream in a bowl. I'm not kidding when I say - this may be a once a week lunch! The vibe? Immaculate. I enjoyed my bowl out on the patio with a good friend, soaking up the sun like the smoothie bowl-loving lizard I was meant to be. Fresh ingredients, and the kind of healthy that doesn't feel like a compromise. It's more like a treat with benefits. Can't believe I waited this long to go - definitely won't be my last visit! The girl who helped us was so fast! And, I was particularly impressed with her ability to cut a banana so quickly and in art form! Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty escape in the middle of Edina! Oh, one last comment, parking is only available on the street, so while not in issue on a Wednesday afternoon, it could be on a weekend!

I took a chance on their new matcha chia pudding bowl (and I don't even really like matcha) and I'm so glad I did! Great consistency with fresh toppings. I'll definitely be back to try other things off the menu! (My bowl pictured is sample size, they are usually larger!)

I'm surprised that this place only has a few stars.. I LOVE THIS PLACE…read more I have gotten it delivered a few times and every time it has met the mark. The salads are incredible because the dressing is nice and light (and delivery ALWAYS delivers it with the dressing on the side).. let's normalize this! The lettuce is chopped up so it is easy to eat (I know this seems like a huge duh) but it isn't haha. The ingredients are fresh and chopped up to the same sizes and again, just making it really easy to eat. I love caesar, and their caesar is amazing. It is fresh and somehow light (which is pretty rare I think). Just all in good ingredients, whole foods, good delivery and preparation. It is a little on the expensive side, I will not lie. I suppose with quality comes a cost but in my opinion, just slightly overpriced. However, here I am ordering it again today to be delivered to work..

When I lived on the East coast I loved a salad spot called "Chop't". I miss Chop't dearly, and if…read moreanyone reading is knows anyone at Chop't HQ, please tell them to come to the middle of the country! Anyways, Green and Grain is the closest I have found to Chop't in Minnesota. I love that the lettuce is finely chopped, there is nothing less appetizing than a piece of lettuce that is the size of a post-it note. My go-to salads are the Farmer and the Cowboy. I want to mention that the cowboy is a bit spicy (in an unpleasant way), I prefer it with regular ranch instead of the jalapeño ranch.

It's happened so often that it feels like we play Russian roulette on who will get the bread (if we get it). The staff can also be hit or miss- some are great and super friendly but some can be kinda rude when we want to include add-ons. Makes me want to drive the extra miles to get salad somewhere else. Ambiance-wise it's like any other Crisp and Green location.

So I had to check it out! I was a first timer and just went with a build your own bowl. It was so damn good. I'm going to be craving this spot again. Definitely will come back and search for other locations. I got half romaine half quinoa with black pepper chicken, cauli, roasted corn, raw cabbage, olives, roasted mushrooms, fresh jalapeños and 2 types of dressings on the side (just in case one wasn't good. lol). The jalapeño green goddess was amazing. But the ranch was so good too, lots of fresh dill in it. I ended up being fat and dumping both in my bowl. It made it so good to balance the quinoa. Idk if it's because I have been up since 4am and haven't eaten or that it was just perfection. But I am going to be dreaming about it all week. lol. I may have to hit them up again soon. Ps the fresh fruit teas are interesting and very low sugar. I was grateful they had sugar packs to add to your likeness. Usually I drink iced tea with no sugar but it tasted off to me without adding a packet. Ps the gal who helped me build my bowl was so patient and did a great job giving me input. Excellent service. Everything looked pretty clean. And they had fresh avocados not the nasty spread crap. Again, I loved it. Would be back. Update: literally the next day I ordered it again when I was in Duluth. lol same exact order. I'm obsessed. It doesn't look overly exciting but the flavors are there. Give it a whirl and thank me later. lol
