I called for an appointment for two days and they did not return my calls. The third day I reached a person, and said I needed an appointment , any day, any time, and she gave me a 1:15 appointment SIX days away. I arrived to the appointment and waited in the parking lot for one hour. The door was locked and it didn't appear anyone was there. I called three times to find out if anyone was coming and no callback. I am a return customer , not fussy, and I always tip 50%. I guess I shouldn't have told her I was a senior. What is wrong with with this place? it doesn't seem like they want any business, today it seems like they are not doing any business , and no one is checking the phone either. if they had to cancel, why not call or email me? read more

I have been coming to Nauti-Cuts for years for my haircuts. Donna Hamelin is an absolute doll. She is a super friendly conversationalist who gives affordable professional haircuts. My daughter got her hair done by Aaliyah my daughter ask is she knows how to do curly hair which she stated yes. It was suppose to be washed, cut, blow dry mind she used a attachment on the blow dryer never once used a round brush my daughters hair is curl and charged me additional 15 dollars for her to pass a flat iron. My daughter is going to homecoming on Saturday can't even tell it was done and I am so disappointed my daughter was crying. This was done today at 5:30 and look how it looks 4 hrs ago how smh. Update just got a call back from the owner can you believe she had no compassion stated that she is not responsible for hair looking like that after 3 hrs I couldn't believe it the nerve her it's no way any one hair should look like that after 3 to 4 hours it was not raining outside. Both times I was turned away, all-the-while there was only 1 other person getting their hair cut. Worst set of acrylics ever. This was my second set I've gotten, but I know how they should look. I first called to make sure they'd do walk-ins for nails. The woman told me the nail technician has "spotty hours" and to come after a certain time. This should've been a huge red flag but I went anyway. There was a very limited choice when it came to picking a color, so it was hard to choose because there were almost no colors to choose from. Then, the woman who ended up doing my nails was older and super slow. She seemed so unprepared, like she wasn't expecting to even be doing her job today. She took forever to get her stuff together, and even while doing my nails, didn't know where half her tools were, or got up to get them in a closet off to the side. She chose the wrong size tips for the size of my actual finger and the hands didn't match in size at all. She filed them by hand and they came out lumpy. Then while fixing one nail it broke, and so she added more acrylic powder to fix it. But because there was more on that side, it was uneven underneath, and she didn't have the right tools so she just left it looking messy and uneven. Painting was a disaster, I left with paint around the nails. When she felt to see if my nails were dry, she noticed they were still tacky and actually asked me if she'd put the clear coat on them...shouldn't she have known if she did?!? It took over two hours to complete the entire process. Way too long for something pretty simple like acrylic nails!! And it wasn't until after I got home that I realized how bad they were. Almost every nail was weak and bendable, almost to the breaking point. Glad they lowered the price to $25 instead of $35 because that would've been too steep for a job like that. And even then I wish I hadn't paid because it was a bad job. She was a nice woman, just all over the place. They might be great at doing hair at this place, but I wouldn't return to get my nails done again. read more

I was in town visiting from NC and on a whim walked in to see if they could fit me in for a root touch up and cut. They were able to get me in right away with Donna Even better was that she did the riot touch up AND highlights which was exactly what I wanted but didn't think they would have enough time for that. Donna did an awesome job and was so pleasant. She know how to do color and knows how to cut thick hair. I will definitely be back when I'm in town and need a last minute hair cut. She accomplished what most salons fail to do- and that is listening to and advising their client so he/she can get the color and cut that they were looking for while being preceptive, professional and respectful. outdated decor and rude staff. Also had a funny smell in there. it didnt smell like they were using natural products as the website claims, i went in for a cut and was greeted by a women who looked like she needed a haircut! she had caked on makeup very young and full of negative attitude. i should have left immediately but didnt want to also be rude the way she was...i think she first needs to learn to style herself...she also looked like she had these dark circles under her eyes as if she partied the night before. maybe she was hungover and didnt want to work on me? i should have turned around on the spot but i realy had to get a cut and this was very convenient and close by, but you never get a second chance to make a first impression I told the girl the cut i wanted and allowed her to make a judgement on length to achieve the style or something compairable. im not a picky person i gave her plenty of latitude on how to give me an updated look.....I should have known she was not up for the task considering what her hair looked like, if your a hairdresser and you have an outdated style this does not bode well for a potential client. i attempted to tell this girl what i wanted and she basically tried to say that there was nothing she could do to my hair and basically made fun of me stating that i would need a miracle to fix my hair! i have long beautiful full curly hair what is the problem? no talent and rude because she was hungover, what an unprofessional mess! also when i went in they had a tacky book on the table with pathetic cutouts of hairstyles of girls in prom dresses. if your too cheap to set up a look book with class than skip it! they do not compare with most salons that have professional haircuts and books to look at while you wait. this place was busy and for the life of me i dont know why. maybe its because on this road they are the only hair salon the other one is a family hair cutting place,,,so they have little competition. but need some! needless to say i made some lame excuse about forgeting a previous appointment and hightailed it outta there! the people coming out do not look good and this place is a definate skip it! who names a hairsalon that sounds like a place where you should go sailing? nauti cuts? what does that even mean? nautical..nauticus...isnt the nauticus the ship that went 20,000 leagues under the sea? thats where this place belongs read more
