Naukabout Brewery and Taproom Is a great place to try a new brew, hang out with friends in a fun indoor and outdoor space. They have some good brew bites as well as an emphasis on community involvement. Not only do they have some fantastic beers they have some great hard seltzers as well. I've always found the service to be friendly, attentive and fun! And this is a great place to just connect with friends and family, have fun and take a little pressure off our hectic lives. So if you're up in Mashpee make sure you check it out!

Fun local brewery with good fresh beer, friendly people, comedy and other music shows, merchandise, plus nice indoor and outdoor activities and ambiance. Worth a visit!

My friend threw his husband's 30th birthday party here on 7-19-25. There was a Kenny Chesney cover-band playing too. The manager was amazing and reserved a prime spot for the party. The apps and pizza were perfect for the event. Well done Naukabout!

What a great local brewery. We really enjoyed all the levels of outdoor seating that terraced up the hill. it is sort of hidden and off the beaten path, which always adds to the appeal for me. There is plenty of parking, brightly colored walls and decorations and shade areas, and several places to order a beer. I am not the biggest fan of heavy beers or stout, but they had quite a few and they had great clever names on them! I can't speak for them but I did like the other lighter lagers and drafts that we tried. We did a flight of IPAs and loved loved loved them! While it is right next to a small body of water, it is a shame that they cannot connect to it or allow you to bring beer over there. Super pretty to look at and very scenic nonetheless!

    Piña Colada IPA - unbelievable.

What a gem. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and great ambiance to capture the Cape feel. Enjoy many beers and seltzers on tap with ample selection to make anyone satisfied. If you're not sure, ask for a sample and/or a flight. Thankfully, I sampled their Dunes on the Cape Milkshake IPA. I was hesitant to try this because it's marketed as a Piña Colada IPA and didn't want something sweet. Holy goodness, this was unbelievable, with strong notes of pineapple and coconut. Fun beer - I grabbed a four pack to go as well as a hat bearing the beer's name. Outdoor space is open with numerous picnic tables with umbrellas. There are multiple tiers to their patio to spread out find a seat. Check out the music schedule because we were fortunate to arrive during their live music on Saturday afternoon. If you're hungry, they have food (get the pretzel bites). Highly recommended. Don't forget to grab some swag and crowlers.

Cool brewery on Cape located conveniently in Mashpee. They have lots of parking, some good food options and really good beer. Their outdoor seating is plentiful, which allows for table service. There is also the option to order beers at the bar and seat yourself. They allow for tasters, but unfortunately don't serve flights on the weekends which was super disappointing. It seems bizarre since most people exploring the Cape are wanting to try different beers and are usually going to be doing so on the weekends. I think that making this small change would make for a drastic improvement. I definitely would bring more people here when they were visiting if they offered that option. Otherwise, super cool spot!

The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere was so lovely! It was still somewhat cold outside but you can tell it's got to be a fun place to hang out during the summer and nicer weather. They said they have the igloos up outside in the winter too! The beer is yummy! Can't speak for the food because we didn't eat but the vibes were great overall!

Great beer, staff, and snacks. We love the live music and events as well! 10/10 favorite brewery on / off cape

One of my fave new(ish) places on the cape! Went with the pals and we had such an amazing time being outside and playing connect four, jenga and of course cornhole! The beers and snacks were also on point and price appropriate. Cannot wait to keep coming back here and introducing more ppl to this place!

We visited Naukabout on a late weekday afternoon. We had a couple solid IPAs and a tasty mango passionfruit shandy. Multiple outdoor seating areas. Sitting outside in a beautiful setting, drinking a good beer, what more could you want? Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend checking out.

Great little hangout restaurant and beer company. Most of the seating is outside on different levels of a hill and some down below and a couple spots inside. There is always a great selection of beers and snack foods such as pretzel bites, clam chowder, chips and dips, lobster rolls, stuffed quahogs and some kids snacks with juice boxes. We love coming here and bringing our friends esp with kids. There are yard games and such to keep them occupied and sometimes live music.

Naukabout Beer Company is a craft brewery that opened in Mashpee, Massachusetts in March 2018. It was founded by business partners Brook Conley, Peter Murner and Mark Germani. The three had originally founded the Naukabout Music Festival in 2008 before conceiving the idea of opening a brewery. The Naukabout beer brand was officially founded in 2012, but it would take several more years before their brewing facility opened to the public. The name "Naukabout" comes from Conley's father. After a long day at work, the elder Conley would tell his sons to change out of their "work-a-bout" shoes and into their "nauk-a-bouts", an accented version of the term "knockabouts". Essentially it means to do what you love to do when you are finished doing what you have to do. Additional partners Greg Sellers and Russ Gentile were brought into the fold, and Leif Rotsaert was hired as the head brewer. The founders' goal was to capture the spirit of Cape Cod in a can... a beer can, that is. My wife and I visited Naukabout Beer for the first time in July 2019. We had visited a couple of other breweries on the Cape, and Naukabout was our last stop of the day. They had a beautiful taproom and a very large outdoor biergarten; very impressive setup. Unfortunately, Naukabout doesn't offer beer flights but they do offer short pours. The brewery had a very impressive draft offering. A great deal of their offerings were my favorite style: Hazy New England IPAs. I had trouble picking what I wanted to sample. I ended up sampling four different ones, but my favorite was "Millie Vanillie": a New England Vanilla Milkshake IPA. I ended up purchasing some canned four-packs of "Rail Trail" (a New England IPA) and "Black Beach" (an Imperial Chocolate Stout) to take home. I think it's safe to say that Naukabout is my favorite brewery on the Cape. I've made a point to stop in on all subsequent visits to the area.

This place has so much potential to be awesome... Great outdoor seating with wooden tables and benches, nice decor, cool souvenirs, etc. However, the beer itself fell short in our opinion. Here's my 3 main reasons you should skip a visit to this "brewery": 1. The beer menu is exclusively non-traditional flavored beers. So if don't like the taste of beer and preferred it mixed with other flavors such as strawberry, blueberries, or Pina colada, then you are in the right place. For us, we prefer to drink beer that is done well and taste like beer. 2. $7 for a small 10 oz pour is a bit steep - you can easily rack up the bill when you are trying to find a good one to drink. 3. Slow service on 'food' - due to COVID19, they must offer food with drinks. So they have a limited menu for this rule... who knew prepackaged Hummus/salsa with a bag of chips and hot dogs could take more than 30 min to prepare?! It's safe to say we'll be skipping this one next time we are in the area.

But I'm writing this to help support the kind of business we need here on Cape Cod. And to provide a little kind and constructive feedback. The review of the meatball sub from friends was "it's good." Cheese board was enormous and could feed a whole soccer team and the Pretzel is generic, store bought and not recommended. The service was a little weird -- instead of getting a waiter, you just have to kinda fend for yourself -- initially it seemed like just an online menu but they do have printed menus. Seems like a missed opportunity to have a server actually wait the tables, make recommendations and earn a tip. Instead it's a hodgepodge of food runners and no real direction what to order. And the strangest part was I had a conversation with one of these folks and she was so terrific and kind I wished she'd waited on us! Anyways, in conclusion ambiance =5. Food and drink = 4. Service =3 (not the fault of the servers -- just a whacky service plan.) overall 4. Thank you!

We started out the day meeting at a hotel where we were offered an awesome discount on a room. From there we ventured to our first brewery stop on the tour of the Cape and en route we got a lesson on how beer is brewed, we talked about the original beer ever brewed in Egypt, played ice breaker games and enjoyed some yummy snacks. At our first brewery there was a winter market going on and we got to enjoy some local faire and gifts while the brew crew went over the history of the location and family that started it. Second we went to a spot for lunch and enjoyed some family style lunch servings with a beer pairing. We had healing bowls of homemade baked macaroni and cheese, buckets of nachos, pizza, and some other shareable finger foods. We spent so much time getting to know each other and I made some amazing new fiends on the trip. Lunch was no exception as we all enjoyed sharing food and stories. Continuing on the beer tour we made a stop at our second brewery and got two pints plus entertainment in the form of a Pac-Man/pong arcade game and some cornhole(it was a frosty match but those who went outside had fun) and our group scored the high scores on the game. Before our last brewery we got to experience a rare site on Cape, a frozen beach. We were going to do touchdown dances in preparation for the "Big Game" happening the next day, but the experience of standing on a frozen ocean took precedence, and all of us got a great group photo. We finished up in Hyannis within walking distance of an ice cream and put-put golf spot. I cannot wait to do this tour again in the summer so we can enjoy the seasonal fun as well. We had a 4 beer pairing at this spot and enjoyed a variety of bar snacks. We finished our tour back at the hotel we started at and went on our separate ways, and remained friends to this day. I cannot wait to go on another tour!!!! Now, I'm not superstitious but I am a little stitious, and this tour was held the day before the "Big Game" and our team won.
