I recently decided to open a saving account with Natwest as they were offering a good interest rate. I had heard some bad things about the customer service, but thought how bad can it be? Well, I have to say I was shocked. The first time I went I had to wait for about half an hour just to speak to someone, the woman I spoke to seemed quite unsure about the account I was opening. Then later in the afternoon, after I had already got home I got a call from another member of there staff to say the woman had forgotten to fill in one of the forms, so I had to go back in! Anyway since them I have tried to call the branch numerous times and no one picks up. I have called the main switchboard to find out about an account, I had to get put through to 7 people (no joke) before I found someone who had even heard of the account. I got the information I wanted, then went to the branch only to find out the information I had been given was completely wrong! Needless to say I do not recommend Natwest! read more
