I had gotten my brows done in October of 2022. I had done the consultation and had told Jess about my scar that I have on my left eyebrow. Because of the swelling from the injury, it left my left eyebrow and eye not symmetrical to my right side. I had told her about this insecurity and if there was a way to make my eyebrows more symmetrical and minimize this insecurity. She reassured me that it could be done. Initially, I had some issues with the shape and when it first got done and I went to get it retouched I did mention these and she changed them a bit. Fast forward to now, I am still very unhappy with how they turned out because they are not even. I messaged Jess about this hoping I could get in with her and fix them but had to push for a response from her. All the while she was still very active on social media. All I wanted was some communication from her and accountability for the job done and getting a fix. I wasn't looking for any free work or anything. The way she messaged back and the lack of accountability really shows how unprofessional she is. I have seen her do good work before but the way she handled my situation was so frustrating and disappointing especially after I paid so much money. Below are screenshots of the messages and a picture of the brows. After this whole experience, would definitely not recommend. As an update; still no accountability. Originally I was nervous about the "blading" part of the process but Jessica answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. She was happy to take any of my suggestions on the shape of my eyebrows but I just went with the shape that she drew because they looked amazing. It did not hurt at all. Only felt like a scratching sensation. After the first session, due to my oily skin, some of the strokes fell off during the healing process on my right eyebrow but she perfected them on my 6 week touch up session. I have never had a lot of eyebrow hair and what I do have is very light. As I've gotten older I've lost even more eyebrow hair. For the past three years I have been seriously thinking about getting microblading . However, I have been very concerned about having permanent make up done. It took a long time for me to finally decide to do it I found Artistry Brows on Groupon. I then check Yelp reviews, Instagram, and ever other social website about them. Jessica had all great reviews so I pushed the button to do the microblading with a one time touch . Jessica called me, we set a date and time which was quick because I was afraid I would chicken out. She explained everything she was going to do and sent me links to prepare for the microblading. Google map help me find her shop location, It was upstairs. Several ladies have independent businesses in there such as nails, lashes, and microblading. Jessica is in the back, her area was clean and bright. She explained everything she was going to do and what I would feel. She was kind and considerate, asking how I was doing during the process. She review with me the brow color, measured, drew and we review the drawing. After I approved it she put numbing cream, waited five minutes then began. I felt a slight pressure (no pain) and I could hear a slight velcro sound. After she did the first layer (not sure what the term is) she put more numbing cream waited five minutes and began the final part. I kind fell asleep. When I got to see I really liked it. She went the post care and schedule my touch up. I highly recommend Jessica and have already handed her card to two people. They were impressed with how natural mine looked. read more
