Other than a haircut every few months, my hair is abused! Now that I'm in my 40s, my gray roots seem to show up every week and a half, and I was tired of constantly covering them with sprays, wands, and root touch-up products that never looked quite right. Then I met Yesenia (@_hairbyyessi_) at ULTA, and she completely changed my outlook on my hair. (I didn't even know ULTA had a salon!) From the moment I sat in her chair, Yesenia was kind, knowledgeable, and completely judgment-free about my long list of questionable hair habits. She took the time to explain how highlights and toning could help blend and disguise my grays, creating a look that would be much lower maintenance than constantly coloring my roots.
