The jewellery here is not cheap, but everything looks so lovely and is of a very high quality. In a former life I was bought an engagement ring from here which had to be re-sized and this was done quickly at no extra charge. The ring is no longer on my finger but I got my compliments when it was.

Flying a Vivienne Westwood style pastel-hued union jack above its entrance, Boodles is a smart looking keepsake box for the treasures within. Stocking a range of expensive (just as an illustration they have a section on their website headed 'Under £3,500') but breathtaking pendants, bracelets and Patek Phillipe watches as well as, most importantly, custom made diamond rings. If you are thinking of picking out an engagement ring in Liverpool, this is should be your first stop. The range at this establishment was fantastic and they had products to cater for the needs of everyone and as such I purchased a special keepsake for my girlfriend's 21'st birthday. The value was fantastic and the quality and craftsmanship of the product could not have been higher. The staff were sensational and a credit to the business, they were polite and chatty and really helped out an awful lot with my purchase. My daughter was so delighted when I brought the watch home, as, like me, she absolutely loves this particular watch. I can't thank the staff enough. While the merchandise is quirky adn attractive, I feel that the novelty wears off as you browse the rest of the boutiques in Cavern Walks; they seem to stock the same, or similar items, which while different to the general high street shops are not remarkably different from each other. This aside, Boudette is a lovely shop,the staff aren't too haughty and in context i.e for Cavern Walks, the prices aren't extortionate.

The worst customer service experience I have ever had…read more intimidating and stuck up staff who stand around and made me wait before they helped me. The prices are inflated by 20% and even when I asked for a discount it was still cheaper in Goldsmiths, Boodles and other jewellers. The quality of the watch was poor and full of scratches and not brand new as stipulated. As well as this I heard 2 other customers complaining about their poor quality jewellery and asking for repairs. My advise is to SHOP ELSEWHERE - I went to Goldsmiths and Boodles and had a wonderful shopping experience and found the best priced watch of my dreams with far nicer sales people and atmosphere.

I went in to get a present for a friends 21st birthday, I wanted a special Pandora bead to add to her bracelet which she was getting as a present. I entered the store and started to have a mooch around at all the beautiful jewellery. After a minute or so an assistant came over and asked if I needed any help. I told her what I was after and she asked me if there was any particular type of bead I was after. They had ones with charms, novelty shapes, precious stones and glass. I had decided to get one with a precious stone in as it was a special birthday. She then started bringing over trays of gorgeous beads for me to look at. She told me to place the ones I liked in a little basket so that I could look at them again and compare them to each other. There were so many stunning beads I ended up with loads to compare to each other. It was such a difficult decision that I had to agonise over it for a long time. The assistant was patient with me. I asked her opinion and she showed me her bracelet and her favourite bead, which was embellished with black mother of pearl. I decided to go for this one. As she knew my bead was a gift she asked if I would like it wrapped for no extra charge. She put it in a gorgeous little box with a couple of chocolates inside. She then added a pretty ribbon and put it in a little Pandora bag. The bead cost me £30 and it was a very well received present. The beads can cost anything up to £620!!! The beads are not cheap but they are of a much higher quality than the cheap imitations that can be seen in high street stores such as Dorothy Perkins. This is a brilliant shop and the service is first class.
