We stopped in on a football Sunday after seeing fried chicken on the menu, and decided to stay because our bartender, Saja, and our server, Sam, were both so friendly and attentive. These days, it's easy to spend a lot dining out and not feel like you received much in return but Social Roost was reasonably priced, and the portions were very generous. I ordered the Chicken Milanese and highly recommend adding a side of angel hair pasta. (which was a recommendation from Sam) Unlike a traditional Milanese, this version comes with a caper beurre blanc sauce. Even though it was listed on the menu, I wasn't expecting so much delicious sauce, and the pasta was perfect for soaking it all up. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was huge and delicious, topped with two very large chicken cutlets and served with syrup and bacon jam butter. He was extremely happy with his choice! The cocktails are on the pricier side, as they are at most places now, but both were very good. We tried the Pinkies Up and the Garden of Eden. I'd only recommend the Pinkies Up if you enjoy peach-forward drinks. Overall, Social Roost has a very cool, elegant and sexy vibe. We would absolutely recommend it especially for a date night in downtown St. Pete!

Honestly, not impressed with the food, especially for the price. The chicken Samosa were OK, but the Thai salad was really disappointing. It sounded really good in the description, but it was really hard to eat out of the bowl and it basically was just a big thing of lettuce with steak on top With a couple slices of green apple. The chicken pot pie was probably the best thing that we ordered. We did not have a cocktail although I've heard their drinks are really good. It's definitely a cute vibe inside.

From the unique and delicious wines (that they let you try so you can ensure you find one you love!) to the melt-in-your-mouth food, I could eat here multiple times a week if my bank account and waistline would let me!! The menu changes often and with the season. When we went in August, we had the America 250th birthday-themed menu, that sourced ingredients that would have been here back in colonial America. It was not only a thoughtful touch and nice piece of history, but one of the best meals I've ever had. I 100% recommend Bin 6 South - don't sleep on it!

We enjoyed sitting at the bar and the service was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back. A must is the shallot appetizer. I almost thought about ordering it for dessert because it was so good. And a nice wine selection. We do not eat meet, but the lamb chop (I think) he was preparing looked incredible. Our trout was delicious and so was the ravioli appetizer. Highly recommend and will return. Strongly suggest reservations.

Our server John G. was outstanding; incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. When I inquired about the restaurant's unusual name, he told me it was based on an Aesop's fable, told us a summary of the fable, then actually brought out a book that contained the fable so we could read it ourselves. Very cool! We started with an order of their Crispy Brussels sprouts, which are essentially vegetables disguised as candy. So good, and really a must have. For my meal I had their Crab Louie salad. I absolutely loved that I could get the creamy dressing it is usually tossed in on the side, in addition to the salad dressing on the side. It was an excellent salad, and I appreciate that there was a generous amount of crab meat and shrimp. My only beef with the place is charging $5 for a miniscule bottle of diet coke. It filled my glass one time, and that was it. Please get a fountain soda machine and stop that nonsense! Can't wait to return and try more of the menu, and order the cocktail that came served with a peacock feather.

I had a mocktail espresso martini that was absolutely delicious, followed by what I truly believe is one of the BEST crab cakes in St. Pete/Tampa Bay. We also enjoyed the tuna tartare, beef carpaccio, and my friends happily polished off a dozen oysters! What really sets Juno & The Peacock apart is the quality. They are committed to sourcing top-of-the-line ingredients and premium products--and you can absolutely taste the difference. Nothing feels generic or mass-produced. The attention to quality shows in every dish. Beautiful atmosphere, outstanding food, wonderful service, and a restaurant I am 100% happy to support and recommend. Five stars from me -- LOVE this place!!!

Thank you. We started with their Masa pancakes which gave a thick yet light taste to it. That lemon and blueberry combo was the bomb. The wife has the Tuna Tosadas which were fresh and flavorful! It was so good. I had the Chorizo Verde Tacos which was soooo good that I ate all 3. I ordered a side of home fries but I didn't even need them. Their coffee was amazing too and I forgot where it was from but again ... bomb. We'll def be back in the future and next time get some cocktails!

3.9‑Star Review (Weeknight Dinner, St. Pete)…read more I'm a St. Pete local and would rate this place 3.9 stars - not quite a 4. We had a reservation for six and didn't realize that meant mandatory patio seating, which was extremely hot with loud fans. For the prices, the seating was a letdown, and the $13 mocktails felt steep for this area. The food ranged from amazing to just okay: * Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich -- wow * Classic Cheeseburger -- really good * Piri Chicken -- not good * Mushroom Paella -- pretty good * Goat Cheese Blossoms -- I loved them, others didn't * Tom Yum Shrimp -- really good * Rosemary Fries -- inconsistent but delicious * Summer Cobb Gem Lettuce -- delicious Our group of six was split: 1 wouldn't return, 2 would consider another chance, 2 liked it and said of course will be back, and 1 thought it was five stars. The service was great, and the dishes that hit were really good - but the heat, pricing, and inconsistency kept it under four stars for me. It was after work so drinking was not the main event so no real information on the cocktails.
