The initial tree removal was handled professionally and met our expectations. However, despite paying in full for both services, the stump removal was never completed. Over the course of nearly a year, we communicated with Candra on multiple occasions and were told on 11 separate instances that the crew would be coming out to finish the job. Each time, they simply did not show up. No notification or follow up either. With construction deadlines approaching for our new pool decking, we were left with no choice but to rent a stump grinder and remove the stumps ourselves. Afterward, we contacted Candra and requested a refund of $1,000 for the portion of the job that remained incomplete. This request was reasonable and actually less than what we were quoted by another vendor to finish the work and did not include the cost of renting a stump grinder. While Candra initially agreed to issue a refund, we were met with repeated explanations--ranging from payment processing issues to internal business challenges. At one point, we were even asked to provide a copy of our debit card for a direct refund, which understandably raised concerns and ultimately led nowhere. We made every effort to resolve this amicably and gave the business ample time to make things right. Unfortunately, the refund was never issued, and the matter was never resolved. We would not work with Aguilar's Tree Service again. Despite repeated assurances, Candra failed to follow through on a refund for services that were never completed. The experience was extremely frustrating, consumed a great deal of our time, and left us feeling misled. Overall, the lack of professionalism and accountability was deeply disappointing.
